Definitions
- This invention relates to the gas insulated switchgear which can suppress the behavior of the metal foreign material mixed in the tank.
- insulation performance is ensured by sealing an insulating gas in a space between a metal tank at ground potential and a central conductor to which a high voltage is applied.
- the metal foreign object can be charged due to the influence of the electric field generated from the high-voltage central conductor, causing the tank to reciprocate in the radial direction, causing a decrease in withstand voltage. . Therefore, it is necessary to suppress the behavior of the metal foreign matter in the tank.
- an insulating paint is applied to the inner surface of the tank to prevent the charge from moving from the inner surface of the tank to the metal foreign object, thereby preventing the metal foreign object from accumulating charges of the opposite polarity to the central conductor.
- it is designed to prevent the metal foreign matter from rising due to the electric attraction force being larger than the weight of the metal foreign matter and to prevent the metal foreign matter from adhering to the high voltage conductor and causing a flashing.
- Patent Document 1 describes a gas-insulated switchgear in which a coating containing zinc oxide (ZnO) having nonlinear resistance characteristics is applied to the tank inner surface.
- ZnO zinc oxide
- Patent Document 2 describes a technique for applying a non-linear resistance coating to a barrier insulator as a coating technique in a gas insulated switchgear.
- JP 2010-207047 A Japanese Patent No. 4177628
- the coating containing zinc oxide (ZnO) has high insulation in a region where the voltage is low, and metal from the inner surface of the tank.
- the same effect as when the above-mentioned insulating paint is applied to the inner surface of the tank is achieved.
- the resistance decreases due to the non-linear resistance characteristics, and the inner surface of the tank is reduced. Is allowed to move between the metal and the metal foreign matter, so that the polarization of the metal foreign matter existing on the coating film and charging due to partial discharge are suppressed.
- Patent Document 2 is intended to suppress discharge extension and reliably confine the discharge in the gas space inside the barrier insulator, and the behavior of metallic foreign matter existing on the inner surface of the tank. It is different from the one intended to suppress this.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above, and in a configuration in which a coating film is provided on the inner surface of a tank, gas insulation capable of suppressing the behavior of metallic foreign substances over a wide range from a low electric field region to a high region.
- An object is to provide a switchgear.
- a gas-insulated switchgear includes a metal tank that is grounded and filled with an insulating gas, and extends in the tank to provide an AC voltage.
- a conductive material applied to the inner surface of the tank, an insulating first coating film coated on the inner surface of the tank, and a coating material coated on the first coating film and containing an insulating coating component and a non-linear resistance material.
- a second coating film formed by coating.
- an insulating first coating film is provided on the inner surface of the tank, and a second coating film is formed by coating a paint containing a non-linear resistance material on the first coating film. Since the first coating film blocks the movement of charges from the tank inner surface to the metallic foreign object regardless of the magnitude of the electric field, if the electric field is large, the nonlinear resistance material nonlinear Since the second coating film exhibits conductivity due to the resistance characteristic, the charging due to the polarization and partial discharge of the metal foreign object is suppressed by the second coating film, and the behavior of the metal foreign object from the region where the electric field is small to the large region. It is possible to suppress this.

- FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a configuration of a conventional gas insulated switchgear.
- FIG. 3 is a graph showing typical current-voltage characteristics of zinc oxide (ZnO).
- FIG. 4 is a graph comparing the varistor characteristics of zinc oxide (ZnO) and silicon carbide (SiC).
- FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view showing the configuration of the gas insulated switchgear according to the present embodiment.
- this gas insulated switchgear includes a tank 1, a central conductor 2 extending in the tank 1, a coating film 101 painted on the inner surface of the tank 1, and an overcoating on the coating film 101.
- the coated film 3 is provided.
- FIG. 1 shows a part of a gas-insulated switchgear, and includes other components such as a circuit breaker, a disconnector, and a current transformer for an instrument.
- the tank 1 is, for example, a substantially cylindrical shape made of metal.
- the tank 1 is extended in the axial direction by connecting a container having a flange portion 1a at an end portion in the axial direction with the flange portion 1a.
- the tank 1 is grounded.
- an insulating gas such as SF 6 gas is sealed.
- the central conductor 2 is a conductor to which an alternating voltage is applied, and an alternating current flows therethrough.
- the center conductor 2 extends along the axial direction of the tank 1 and is supported by an insulating spacer (not shown).
- the coating film 101 is made of, for example, an insulating paint mainly composed of a resin.
- the coating film 3 is made of a paint containing a non-linear resistance material, for example, a paint containing silicon carbide (SiC).
- a paint containing silicon carbide SiC
- the paint film 101 is coated with a paint containing silicon carbide (SiC).
- a film 3 is formed.
- silicon carbide (SiC) powder can be mixed in the paint.
- the coating film 3 is isolated from the grounded tank 1 by the insulating coating film 101, and thus is electrically floating.
- Silicon carbide (SiC) is known to exhibit non-linear resistance characteristics without firing. That is, silicon carbide (SiC) exhibits a substantially insulating property in a low voltage or low current region, but has a low resistance in a high voltage or high current region. As will be described later, silicon carbide (SiC) has a continuous transition between insulation and conductivity as compared to non-linear resistance materials such as zinc oxide (ZnO). Silicon carbide (SiC) is a wide band gap semiconductor having a larger band gap than silicon. Examples of wide band gap semiconductors include gallium nitride and diamond in addition to silicon carbide (SiC).
- the filling rate of silicon carbide (SiC) in the coating film 3 can be set within a range of, for example, 30 to 80% in terms of volume fraction. This is because in order for the coating film 3 to exhibit non-linear resistance characteristics, a filling amount that allows silicon carbide (SiC) to sufficiently contact within the coating film 3 is required.
- the lower limit of the filling amount is defined as the minimum filling amount at which silicon carbide (SiC) comes into contact with each other by percolation.
- the upper limit of the filling amount is defined as the critical filling amount of the silicon carbide (SiC) powder, and if the amount exceeding the critical filling amount is filled, the coating becomes brittle.
- the non-linear resistance material included in the coating film 3 may be other than silicon carbide (SiC) (for example, zinc oxide (ZnO)).
- a minute metal foreign matter 4 is mixed in the tank 1 and is present on the coating film 3 in the illustrated example.
- silicon carbide (SiC) in the coating film 3 functions as a substantial insulator.
- An insulating coating film 101 exists between the coating film 3 and the tank 1 inner surface. Therefore, the movement of electric charge from the inner surface of the tank 1 to the metal foreign object 4 is blocked, and the electric charge having the opposite polarity to that of the central conductor 2 is not stored in the metal foreign object 4.
- the metal foreign matter 4 does not rise above the dead weight of the metal foreign matter 4.
- the coating film 101 under the coating film 3 is insulative regardless of the magnitude of the electric field.
- the charging of the metallic foreign matter 4 due to the partial discharge caused by the polarization of the metallic foreign matter 4 existing on the coating film 3 and the ionization of the insulating gas is suppressed by the coating film 3 as a charge escape, while the tank 1 Charging due to the movement of charges (charges having a polarity opposite to that of the central conductor) from the inner surface to the metallic foreign matter 4 is blocked by the coating film 101, so that the electric attractive force due to the electric field generated from the central conductor 2 is less than the dead weight of the metallic foreign matter 4.
- the metal foreign matter 4 does not rise due to an increase.
- the insulating coating film 101 (first coating film) is provided on the inner surface of the tank 1, and the insulating coating component and the non-linear resistance material are further provided on the coating film 101. Since the coating film 3 (second coating film) formed by coating a paint containing (e.g., silicon carbide (SiC)) is overcoated, the metal foreign matter can be applied in a wide range from a low electric field to a high area. 4 can be suppressed.
- a paint containing e.g., silicon carbide (SiC)
- FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a configuration of a conventional gas insulated switchgear.
- FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a configuration of a conventional gas insulated switchgear.
- FIG. 2 the same components as those in FIG. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
- FIG. 3 is a graph showing typical current-voltage characteristics of zinc oxide (ZnO).
- FIG. 4 is a graph comparing the varistor characteristics of zinc oxide (ZnO) and silicon carbide (SiC).
- a coating film 100 is applied to the inner surface of the tank 1.
- the coating film 100 is made of a paint containing zinc oxide (ZnO) (see Patent Document 1). In the conventional configuration shown in FIG. 2, only one layer of the coating film 100 is applied.
- zinc oxide (ZnO) has high insulation in a region where the voltage is low, and substantially blocks the movement of charges from the inner surface of the tank 1 to the metal foreign matter 4, while in a region where the voltage is high, The resistance is reduced, charge transfer between the inner surface of the tank 1 and the metal foreign object 4 is allowed, and the charging of the metal foreign object 4 existing on the coating film 100 and charging due to partial discharge are suppressed.
- ZnO zinc oxide
- Zinc oxide (ZnO) exhibits non-linear resistance characteristics like silicon carbide (SiC), but the degree of non-linearity is greatly different between the two as described below.
- FIG. 3 shows the varistor characteristics of zinc oxide (ZnO) at different temperatures (9 ° C. and 25 ° C.) with the horizontal axis representing voltage (V) and the vertical axis representing current (I).
- Zinc oxide (ZnO) is a low voltage indicating the resistance is large insulation, when the voltage exceeds a critical breakdown voltage V B, the resistance value decreases abruptly.
- zinc oxide exhibits an extreme nonlinear resistance characteristic such as a rapid transition between insulation and conductivity, and resistance disappears rapidly when exceeding 10,000 (V).
- silicon carbide SiC has a continuous and gentle transition between insulating and conductive.
- the thickness of the coating film 100 is an object of suppressing the behavior of the metal foreign matter 4 in consideration of the applied voltage in the film thickness direction and the non-linear resistance characteristics of zinc oxide (ZnO). Need to be set up properly to be able to reach.
- the conductive region and the insulating region are formed on the coating film 100 with respect to the same high electric field. There is a possibility that it is mixed, and there is a high possibility that the effect of suppressing the charging due to the polarization and partial discharge of the metallic foreign matter 4 will be reduced.
- the coating film 3 contains silicon carbide (SiC) having a gentle non-linear resistance characteristic as shown in FIG. Even if there is some variation in the film thickness of the coating film 3, the coating film 3 as a whole exhibits the same electrical characteristics only with a slightly different degree of conductivity. That is, in this embodiment, when silicon carbide (SiC) is used as the non-linear resistance material, the variation in the thickness of the coating film 3 is smaller than that of the conventional configuration shown in FIG. Since the influence on the charging suppression effect is small, variations in the film thickness are allowed and workability in the coating process of the coating film 3 is improved.
- SiC silicon carbide
- the voltage applied to the center conductor 2 is an AC voltage, and the voltage continuously fluctuates with time in a trigonometric function.
- the coating film 100 does not exhibit conductivity but exhibits conductivity until the magnitude of the AC electric field exceeds a certain value due to the extreme non-linear resistance characteristic of zinc oxide (ZnO). Immediately before, it is difficult to suppress charging due to polarization and partial discharge of the metallic foreign matter 4.
- the coating film 3 follows the change in the AC electric field due to the non-linear resistance characteristics of silicon carbide (SiC). Therefore, the charging due to the polarization and partial discharge of the metallic foreign matter 4 can be suppressed according to the magnitude of the electric field.
- zinc oxide (ZnO) exhibits non-linear resistance characteristics when fired. That is, in the conventional configuration shown in FIG. 2, a mixture of fired zinc oxide (ZnO) powder mixed with the paint is applied to the inner surface of the tank 1, or a paint containing zinc oxide (ZnO) is applied to the inner surface of the tank 1. After that, the coating film 100 needs to be baked, and in any case, a baking step is required before or after coating, and the number of manufacturing steps increases.
- silicon carbide (SiC) exhibits non-linear resistance characteristics without firing. Therefore, when silicon carbide (SiC) is used as the non-linear resistance material, there is no need to perform firing on silicon carbide (SiC), and therefore the number of manufacturing steps is reduced compared to the conventional configuration shown in FIG. There is an advantage.
- the coating film 3 is provided on the coating film 101, the existing tank 1 in which an insulating paint is applied to the inner surface of the tank 1 can be used.
- the coating film 3 when coating the coating film 3, it is not necessary to add a filler to the coating material containing the non-linear resistance material.
- the filler as an insulating material such as alumina or silica is for the purpose of ensuring the strength and does not affect the behavior of the metal foreign matter 4, so that the coating film 3 is made of, for example, a resin that is a paint component and a non-linear resistance. It can be only material.
- the present invention is useful as a gas-insulated switchgear that can suppress the behavior of metallic foreign matter existing in the tank.
