Abstract
Description
下部走行体に対して上部旋回体を旋回させるために、スイングモータ、スイングマシナリ、及び出力ピニオンを備えた旋回装置が上部旋回体に設けられている。一方、下部走行体にはスイングサークルが設けられている。スイングマシナリには、スイングモータからの回転駆動力を減速する減速部、ブレーキ部などが設けられており、スイングマシナリの下側に配置されている出力ピニオンがスイングサークルの内側又は外側に設けられている歯と噛合っている。スイングモータの回転駆動力が出力ピニオンに伝達され、スイングマシナリがスイングサークルの内側又は外側を回転移動することによって、下部走行体に対して上部旋回体が旋回する。
図11は、特許文献1に開示されているスイングマシナリのブレーキ部周辺の内部構造を示す図である。特許文献1では、ブレーキ部としてメカニカルブレーキ1000が設けられている。このメカニカルブレーキ1000は、駆動軸1001の回転を制動する。メカニカルブレーキ1000は、駆動軸1001に接合されたブレーキディスク1002を、ブレーキパッド1003を介して昇降動制御されるブレーキピストン1004で挟圧保持したり挟圧保持を解除したりすることが可能に構成されている。
しかしながら、上記従来の旋回装置は、以下に示すような問題点を有している。
上記のようなブレーキ部を持つ旋回装置において、バネ部材の押し付け力の向上及びバネ部材の座屈防止のために、バネ部材1005の自然長を伸ばしてバネ部材のストロークを長く確保することが望まれている。バネ部材1005の自然長を伸ばすためには、旋回装置全体の高さを高くすることが考えられる。一方で、旋回装置は元来、駆動部、ブレーキ部、減速部、出力部が縦方向に連続する構成を有する縦長の装置である。しかしながら、装置が配設される上部旋回体上ではオペレータ等の人の通路があるなど、旋回装置の高さを野放図に高くして上部旋回体上に突出させることは不都合である。
本発明の目的は、従来の旋回装置の課題を考慮し、旋回装置の高さを高くすることなく、バネ部材のストロークを長く確保することにより性能を高めたブレーキ部を有する旋回装置を提供することである。
第1の発明に係る作業車両の旋回装置は、駆動部と、ブレーキ部と、減速部と、出力部と、を備える。ブレーキ部は駆動部の下方に設けられる。減速部はブレーキ部の下方に設けられる。出力部は減速部の下方に設けられる。ブレーキ部は、ブレーキ本体と、ハウジングと、ピストンと、バネ部材とを備えている。ブレーキ本体は、旋回を停止させる。ハウジングは、第1の面と、第1の面に形成された第1の凹部を有する。ピストンは、第1の面に対向する第2の面と、第2の面に形成された第2の凹部を有し、ブレーキ本体とハウジングの間に配置され、ブレーキ本体を動作させるためにハウジングに対して移動可能に設けられている。バネ部材は、第1の凹部と第2の凹部に両端が収められ、ブレーキ本体を動作させるようにブレーキ本体側にピストンを付勢する。第1の凹部及び第2の凹部は円柱形状であり、第1の凹部の内径は、第2の凹部の内径よりも大きい。
このようにハウジングとピストンの双方に凹部を設けることにより、従来のようにピストンのみに凹部を設けた構成と比較して、旋回装置の高さを高くすることなく、バネ部材の自然長を長く確保することが可能であり、ストロークを長く確保出来る。このため、ピストンの押し付け力の向上及びバネ部材の座屈防止を行なうことが出来る。
又、ここでは、ピストンに形成されている第2の凹部の内径よりも、ハウジングに形成されている第1の凹部の内径の方が大きく形成されている。
ここで、位置決め部材を設けて、ピストンの移動方向に対して垂直な面方向におけるハウジングに対するピストンの位置が固定される。
このため、ピストンの移動時等に、ピストンに対して移動方向に垂直な方向にハウジングとの位置ずれが生ずるような力が発生したとしても、その力を位置決め部材が受け止めることが出来る。このため、バネ部材に余分な力が掛かることを防止することが出来る。
このような複数のバネ部材、ブレーキディスク及びブレーキプレートを備えた構成により、旋回の停止に比較的大きな力が必要な、例えば大型の油圧ショベル等の作業車両であっても、確実に旋回を停止することが出来る。
本発明によれば、装置全体の高さを高くすることなく、バネ部材のストロークを長く確保することが可能なブレーキ部を有する旋回装置を提供することが出来る。
図1は、本実施の形態の油圧ショベルの側面図である。図2は、本実施の形態の油圧ショベルの作業機を除く部分平面図である。
図1に示すように、作業車両の一例としての油圧ショベル1は、進行方向の左右両端部に設けられた履帯20を有する下部走行体2と、下部走行体2の上部に配置された上部旋回体3を備えている。上部旋回体3には、作業機30、運転室31、エンジンルーム32、及びカウンタウエイト33等が設けられている。この作業機30は、中央部分で屈曲したブーム301と、ブーム301の先端に取り付けられたアーム302と、アーム302の先端に取り付けられたバケット303を有している。又、図2に示すように作業機30を取り付けるための作業機支持軸34が設けられている。
図3は、図2の部分拡大平面図である。図4は、本実施の形態1の旋回装置10の側面図である。図3及び図4に示すように、上部旋回体3の旋回装置10は、その上部に設けられた駆動部11と、駆動部11の下側に設けられたスイングマシナリ12と、駆動部11から入力された動力を出力するために、スイングマシナリ12の下側に設けられた出力ピニオン(出力部の一例)13を備えている。この駆動部11には、油圧モータであるスイングモータ及び油圧モータを制御する制御弁等が配置されている。
一方、下部走行体2には、外周に歯を有するスイングサークル21が設けられており、出力ピニオン13がスイングサークル21と噛合っている。スイングモータの回転が、スイングマシナリ12の内部に配置されている減速部によって減速されて出力ピニオン13に伝達されて出力ピニオン13が回転する。この回転によって旋回装置10は、スイングサークル21の外周を回転し、旋回装置10が固定されている上部旋回体3が下部走行体2に対して旋回する。
図5に示すように、スイングマシナリ12には、軸結合部14と、ブレーキ部15と、減速部16が、上方から下方に向かって連続して設けられている。
軸結合部14では、駆動部11に配置されているスイングモータとスイングマシナリ12の駆動軸17との機械的結合が行なわれる。ブレーキ部15は、駆動軸17の回転を制動する。減速部16では、内部の減速機構によって駆動軸17の回転が減速されて出力ピニオン13へと出力される。
このように、旋回装置10の一例には、上方から下方に向かって縦方向に、制御弁及びスイングモータを含む駆動部11と、軸結合部14、ブレーキ部15及び減速部16を含むスイングマシナリ12と、出力ピニオン(出力部の一例)13が連続して配置されているため、旋回装置10は縦長の形状となっている。
図2において説明したように、上部旋回体3には通路4が設けられている。図6は、油圧ショベル1の旋回装置10の上部近傍を示す斜視図である。図3、図5及び図6に示すように、この通路4は、旋回装置10のメンテナンスを行なうためにスイングマシナリ12の上側を通るように設けられている。すなわち、通路4は平面視において、その一部が旋回装置10、特にスイングマシナリ12と重畳するように設けられている。詳しく説明すると、図3及び図5に示すように、スイングマシナリ12は円筒形状であり、駆動部11は、スイングマシナリ12の上面の中央部分に配置されている。通路4は、この駆動部11と略同じ高さ域にあり、スイングマシナリ12の上側を通過するように配置されている。
また、旋回装置10の近傍には複数の配管60が設けられており、これらの配管60は油圧ショベル1の動作時にブーム301等と干渉しないように取り回されている。
次に、ブレーキ部15の詳細について説明する。
図7は、旋回装置10のブレーキ部15近傍を示す拡大断面図である。
ブレーキ本体50は、駆動軸17の周囲に、上下方向に複数枚配置されたブレーキディスク142とブレーキプレート141を有している。これら複数のブレーキディスク142とブレーキプレート141は、ブレーキディスク142が、その上下に設けられたブレーキプレート141に挟まれるように配置されている。
図8は、ピストン51、油圧シリンダ52及びハウジング53を上方から視た分解斜視図である。図9は、ピストン51、油圧シリンダ52及びハウジング53を下方から視た分解斜視図である。
図7~図9に示すように、ピストン51の面51a(第2の面の一例)には、その環状に沿って複数の凹部511(第2の凹部の一例)が形成されている。一方、ピストン51の面51aと対向するハウジング53の面53a(第1の面の一例)には、その環状に沿って複数の凹部531(第1の凹部の一例)が形成されている。この凹部531は、凹部511に対向するように設けられている。なお、凹部531と凹部511は双方とも円柱形状に形成されており、図10のバネ部材近傍の拡大図に示すように、凹部531の内径L1の方が凹部511の内径L2よりも若干大きくなっている。
ここで、ハウジング53及び油圧シリンダ52がスイングマシナリ12に固定されており、ピストン51はバネ部材54によって下方のブレーキ本体50側(ブレーキ本体を動作させる側の一例に対応)に付勢されている。
ブレーキ部15を組み立てる際には、油圧シリンダ52、ピストン51及びハウジング53がサブアセンブリーとして組み立てられる。
図7~図9を参照しながら説明すると、油圧シリンダ52の内側にピストン51が配置される。続いて、ピストン51に形成されている凹部511に一端が収められるようにバネ部材54が配置されるとともに、凹部512に位置決めピン56が配置される。
上記構成のブレーキ部15の動作について説明する。本実施の形態のブレーキ部15は、油圧をかけるとブレーキが解除されるネガティブブレーキとなっている。つまり、通常はブレーキが動作して旋回が停止されている状態となっており、旋回が行われる時にのみブレーキが解除される。
尚、ピストン51がハウジング53に対して上下方向に移動することになるが、ピストン51が最も下方に移動した状態でも、ハウジング53の凹部532から抜けないように位置決めピン56の長さが設定されている。

本実施の形態の旋回装置10は、駆動部11と、ブレーキ部15と、減速部16と、出力部13と、を備える。ブレーキ部15は駆動部11の下方に設けられる。減速部16はブレーキ部15の下方に設けられる。出力部13は減速部16の下方に設けられる。ブレーキ部15はスイングマシナリ12に設けられており、ブレーキ本体50と、ハウジング53と、ピストン51と、バネ部材54とを備えている。ブレーキ本体50は、旋回を停止させる。ハウジング53は、面53a(第1の面の一例)と、面53aに形成された凹部531(第1の凹部の一例)を有する。ピストン51は、面53aに対向する面51a(第2の面の一例)と、面51aに形成された凹部511(第2の凹部の一例)を有し、ブレーキ本体50とハウジング53の間に配置され、ブレーキ本体50を動作させるためにハウジング53に対して移動可能に設けられている。バネ部材54は、凹部531と凹部511に両端が収められ、ブレーキ本体50を動作させるようにブレーキ本体50側にピストン51を付勢する。
このようにハウジング53とピストン51とが互いに対向する面51a、53aの双方に凹部511、531を設けることにより、従来のようにブレーキピストン側の面のみに凹部を設けた構成と比較して、スイングマシナリ自体の高さを高くすることなく、バネ部材54の自然長を確保することが可能であり、バネ部材54のストロークを長く確保出来る。このため、ピストン51の押し付け力の向上及びバネ部材54の座屈防止を行なうことが出来る。
本実施の形態の旋回装置10は、ブレーキ部15の凹部511及び凹部531は円柱形状であり、凹部531の内径は、凹部511の内径よりも大きい。
ここでは、ピストン51に形成されている凹部511の内径よりも、ハウジング53に形成されている凹部531の内径の方が大きく形成されている。
ブレーキ部15を製造する際には、ピストン51の凹部511にバネ部材54を載置した後に、凹部531にバネ部材54が嵌るように、ハウジング53をピストン51の上方から配置する。このため、凹部511の内径よりも凹部531の内径が大きく形成されている方が、凹部531をバネ部材54に嵌めやすいので、ハウジング53をピストン51の上方から配置し易い。
本実施の形態の旋回装置10は、ブレーキ部15に位置決めピン56を備えている。位置決めピン56は、ピストン51からハウジング53に渡って設けられており、ピストン51の移動方向に対して垂直な方向(図7の面Sと平行な方向)におけるハウジング53に対するピストン51の位置を固定する。
このため、ピストン51の移動時等に、ピストン51に対して、その移動方向に対して垂直な面方向にハウジング53との位置ずれが発生するような力が発生したとしても、その力を位置決めピン56が受け止めるため、バネ部材54に水平方向の余分な力が掛かることを防止することが出来る。
本実施の形態の旋回装置10は、ブレーキ部15に油圧シリンダ52を更に備えている。ハウジング53は、環状の部材であって、その環状に沿って凹部531が複数形成されている。ピストン51は、環状の部材であって、その環状に沿って凹部511が複数形成されている。油圧シリンダ52は、ピストン51の外側に配置され、ピストン51をバネ部材54による付勢力に対抗して移動させる。バネ部材54は、対向する凹部511及び凹部531ごとに設けられている。ブレーキ本体50は、交互に配置されたブレーキディスク142とブレーキプレート141を有している。ブレーキ本体50が動作している第1状態では、ピストン51がブレーキディスク142及びブレーキプレート141を押圧してブレーキディスク142がブレーキプレート141により挟圧されており、ブレーキ本体50が動作していない第2状態では、油圧シリンダ52によるピストン51の移動によりブレーキディスク142及びブレーキプレート141への押圧が解除されブレーキディスク142に対するブレーキプレート141の挟圧が解除されている。
このように複数のバネ部材54、ブレーキディスク142及びブレーキプレート141を備えた構成により、旋回の停止に比較的大きな力が必要な、例えば大型の油圧ショベル等の作業車両であっても、確実に旋回を停止することが出来る。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。
上記実施の形態では、図8に示すように、バネ部材54は円環状のピストン51の円環に沿って位置決めピン56が配置されている部分を除いて隙間なく配置されているが、隙間を設けて配置されていても良い。例えば、点対称になるような4箇所の位置にのみバネ部材54が配置されていてもよく、バネ部材54の数が限定されるものではない。
又、上記実施の形態では、ハウジング53に形成されている凹部531の内径が、ピストン51に形成されている凹部511の内径よりも大きく形成されているが、これに限らなくても良く、凹部511及び凹部531ともに、少なくともバネ部材54の端が収まる大きさであればよい。ただし、凹部531の内径が凹部511の内径よりも大きいほうが、ハウジング53をピストン51の上部に配置する際に、バネ部材54が凹部531に嵌りやすいためより好ましい。
又、上記実施の形態では、スイングサークル21の外側に歯が形成され、旋回装置10がスイングサークル21の外側を回転する構成であるが、スイングサークル21の内側に歯が形成され、旋回装置10がスイングサークル21の内側を回転する構成であってもよい。
上記実施の形態では、油圧ショベルの旋回装置を例として挙げて説明した。しかし、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、油圧ショベルに限らず他の車体に旋回部を持つ作業車両に対しても、本発明の適用は可能である。

Claims (3)
- 作業車両の旋回装置であって、
駆動部と、
前記駆動部の下方に配置されるブレーキ部と、
前記ブレーキ部の下方に配置される減速部と、
前記減速部の下方に配置される出力部と、を備え、
前記ブレーキ部は、
旋回を停止させるブレーキ本体と、
第1の面と、前記第1の面に形成された第1の凹部を有するハウジングと、
前記第1の面に対向する第2の面と、前記第2の面に形成された第2の凹部を有し、前記ブレーキ本体と前記ハウジングの間に配置され、前記ブレーキ本体を動作させるために前記ハウジングに対して移動可能に設けられたピストンと、
前記第1の凹部と前記第2の凹部に両端が収められ、前記ブレーキ本体を動作させるように前記ブレーキ本体側に前記ピストンを付勢するバネ部材とを有し、
前記第1の凹部及び前記第2の凹部は、円柱形状であり、
前記第1の凹部の内径は、前記第2の凹部の内径よりも大きい、
作業車両の旋回装置。 - 前記ブレーキ部は、
前記ピストンから前記ハウジングに渡って設けられており、前記ピストンの移動方向に対して垂直な方向における前記ハウジングに対する前記ピストンの位置を固定する位置決め部材を有する、

前記ブレーキ部は、前記ピストンの外側に配置され、前記ピストンを前記バネ部材による付勢力に対抗して移動させる油圧シリンダを更に有し、
前記バネ部材は、対向する前記第1の凹部及び前記第2の凹部ごとに設けられ、
前記ブレーキ本体は、交互に複数配置されたブレーキディスクとブレーキプレートを有し、
前記ブレーキ本体が動作している第1状態では、前記ピストンが前記ブレーキディスク及び前記ブレーキプレートを押圧して前記ブレーキディスクが前記ブレーキプレートにより挟圧されており、
前記ブレーキ本体が動作していない第2状態では、前記油圧シリンダによる前記ピストンの移動により前記ブレーキディスク及び前記ブレーキプレートへの押圧が解除され前記ブレーキディスクに対する前記ブレーキプレートの挟圧が解除されている、
請求項1記載の作業車両の旋回装置。
