- パネルの取付孔に前記パネルに直交する方向の一方側から装着される第1のコネクタハウジングと、前記パネルを挟んで前記パネルに直交する方向の他方側から前記取付孔を通して前記第1のコネクタハウジングに嵌合される第2のコネクタハウジングと、を備えたパネル固定型のコネクタ装置において、
前記第1のコネクタハウジングには、前記パネルの前記取付孔に前記一方側から挿入された際に前記取付孔の周縁にアームの外側傾斜面が摺接することで初期位置から内方に撓み変形し、更に所定位置まで挿入された際に撓みから初期位置に復帰することで係止部を前記取付孔の周縁に係止させ、それにより、前記一方側への第1のコネクタハウジングの移動を阻止した状態で前記パネルの前記取付孔に前記第1のコネクタハウジングを仮係止する仮係止アームが設けられ、
前記第2のコネクタハウジングには、
前記パネルの前記取付孔の周縁に係止することで前記第2のコネクタハウジングを前記パネルに本固定する本固定部と、
前記仮係止アームが前記パネルの前記取付孔に係止している状態の前記第1のコネクタハウジングに前記第2のコネクタハウジングを嵌合させる際に、その嵌合動作に伴って前記仮係止アームを内方に撓ませて前記パネルの前記取付孔に対する前記仮係止アームの係止を解除する仮係止解除部と、が設けられ、
更に、前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングには、
前記仮係止アームが前記パネルの前記取付孔に係止している状態の前記第1のコネクタハウジングに前記第2のコネクタハウジングを嵌合させる際に、前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングとが互いに完全嵌合するまでは前記第1のコネクタハウジングが前記パネルに対して相対移動することを規制し、且つ、前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングとが互いに完全嵌合した状態においては前記第1のコネクタハウジングが前記パネルに対して相対移動することを許容する移動規制許容部と、
前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングとが互いに完全嵌合した際に前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングとを互いにロックするメインロック部と、
前記仮係止アームが前記パネルの前記取付孔に係止している状態の前記第1のコネクタハウジングに前記第2のコネクタハウジングを中途まで嵌合させることで、前記仮係止解除部により前記仮係止アームの前記パネルの前記取付孔に対する係止を解除させ、その状態で、前記第1のコネクタハウジングに対する前記第2のコネクタハウジングの嵌合を中止して前記第2のコネクタハウジングを前記第1のコネクタハウジングから離脱させようとした際に、前記第2のコネクタハウジングの離脱動作によって、前記パネルの前記取付孔に対する係止を解除されている状態の前記仮係止アームが前記パネルの前記取付孔に再係止する位置まで前記第1のコネクタハウジングを引き移動させて、前記仮係止アームを前記パネルの前記取付孔に再係止させ、それにより、前記第1のコネクタハウジングの前記パネルからの脱落を阻止する脱落防止部と、が設けられている
パネル固定型のコネクタ装置。 - 前記メインロック部は、前記第1のコネクタハウジングに設けられたロックアームと、前記第2のコネクタハウジングに設けられたロック凸部とを備え、前記第2のコネクタハウジングを前記第1のコネクタハウジングに嵌合する際、嵌合途中では、前記ロックアームと前記ロック凸部とが互いに干渉することで前記ロックアームが初期位置から外側に撓み、更に嵌合を進めて完全嵌合状態になったときに、前記ロックアームが撓みから初期位置に復帰することで、前記ロックアームに設けられた係合部が前記ロック凸部と係合して、それにより前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングをロックし、
前記ロックアームと前記ロック凸部は、前記パネルの前記取付孔に前記ロックアームの前記係合部が挿入された状態で、前記第2のコネクタハウジングが前記第1のコネクタハウジングに嵌合され、嵌合途中において前記ロックアームと前記ロック凸部とが互いに干渉して前記ロックアームが外側に撓んだ状態のとき、前記ロックアームの前記係合部が前記パネルと干渉することで、前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングとが互いに完全嵌合するまでの間、前記第1のコネクタハウジングが前記パネルに対して相対移動することを規制し、且つ、前記第1のコネクタハウジングと前記第2のコネクタハウジングとが互いに完全嵌合した状態においては、撓みから初期位置に復帰した前記ロックアームの前記係合部が前記パネルと干渉する位置から外れることで、前記第1のコネクタハウジングが前記パネルに対して相対移動することを許容する前記移動規制許容部の役目を果たし、
更に前記ロック凸部には、前記仮係止アームが前記パネルの前記取付孔に係止している状態の前記第1のコネクタハウジングに前記第2のコネクタハウジングを中途まで嵌合させることで、前記仮係止解除部により前記仮係止アームの前記パネルの前記取付孔に対する係止を解除させ、その状態で、前記第1のコネクタハウジングに対する前記第2のコネクタハウジングの嵌合を中止して前記第2のコネクタハウジングを前記第1のコネクタハウジングから離脱させようとした際に、前記外側に撓み変形している前記ロックアームの前記係合部と係合することで、前記第2のコネクタハウジングの離脱動作によって、前記パネルの前記取付孔に対する係止を解除されている状態の前記仮係止アームが前記パネルの前記取付孔に再係止する位置まで、前記第1のコネクタハウジングを引き移動させる脱落防止リブが、前記脱落防止部として突設されている
請求項1に記載のパネル固定型のコネクタ装置。
