- the fastening means basically generates a stress that fastens the end plates, and is effective for fastening the battery stack, but the stress that presses the upper surface and side surfaces thereof is weakened.
- the longer the fastening means is in the battery cell stacking direction the easier it is to separate from the battery stack at the intermediate portion. Therefore, as described above, the upper surface of the battery stack 2 can be prevented from rising of the first bind bar 4A by being inserted into the U-shaped slit 8c.
- the side surface of the battery stack 2 is prevented from being lifted from the side surface by being coupled to the bus bar holder 8 by an intermediate fixing mechanism. (Intermediate fixing protrusion 4e)

- the first bind bar 4A opens one or more bind holes 4d. By forming such an opening, the first bind bar 4A can be easily deformed. In particular, even when the battery cell 1 expands due to charging / discharging and the like, and the length in the stacking direction of the battery stack 2 is increased, an excessive load is applied to the attachment portion of the fastening means 4 and the end plate 3. Can be reduced by deformation of the part. In addition, since the mechanical strength of the fastening means 4 becomes weaker as the number of binding holes increases or increases, the number and size of the binding holes are set in consideration of the balance between strength and ease of deformation.
