ここでいう、外層材33自体が有する伸縮性とは、例えば、前述の弾性体により付与される伸縮性に代わりうる伸縮性をいう。
上記溝34の間隔は、例えば等間隔に形成される。なお、伸縮性を付与する度合いを位置ごとに変えるような場合には、溝34の間隔を変えることも可能である。例えば、外層材33の厚みが0.01mm以上0.2mm以下の場合、強い伸縮性を得たい領域では、溝34の間隔を2mm以上5mm以下程度にし、弱い伸縮性を得たい領域では溝34の間隔を0.5mm以上2mm以下程度にする。この溝34の間隔は、外層材33の厚さによっても変化する。なお、外層材33が溝34により所望の伸縮性を有するものであれば、その加工方法は限定されない。

なお、吸収性本体40上の外層材33にも延伸加工としての歯溝加工は行われる。延伸加工後、外層材33を伸長させ、内層材31と接合する。接合後、外層材33と内層材31には、吸収性本体40上に該当する箇所をヒートシール(弾性体切断)することで外層材33は非弾性化されて伸縮性がなくなるので、吸収性本体40上の外層材33に付けた歯溝は目立たなくなる。

図7に示すように、パンツ型おむつの一例としてのパンツ型おむつ100は、外装体11が股下部13にも形成され、股下部13に形成された外装体11の内側(肌当接面側)に吸収性本体40を配した構成である。具体的には、前述の第1実施形態における外装体11において、腹側部21から背側部23にかけて連続的に架け渡して形成した股下部1z3を有するものである。上記外装体11の背側部23と腹側部21と股下部13とには内層材31が形成され、背側部23と腹側部21との内層材31に外層材33が腰周り方向(X方向)に沿って積層されている。外層材33は、外装体11の身丈方向に複数配され、外層材33間に隙間を有することなく且つ外層材33、33同士が隣接して配されている。また、内層材31と外層材33とが積層されている積層領域は、外装体11の腰周り方向に伸縮性を有している。
また、第1シート材を内層材31としてもよい。さらに背側の股下部13は外層材33のみとしてもよく、もしくは外層材33と内層材31とで構成されてもよい。この場合、外層材33もしくは内層材31を身丈方向に複数配してもよい。
または、スリットカッターで第1シート材1Sを切って複数本のテープ状シート材33Tを得た後、ニップロール217に巻き付けず、直接ニップロール217、218間に供給されてもよい。
そして、ニップロール217、218間に上記第2シート材2S、弾性体連続部材3S、テープ状シート材33Tを通し、ロール間の圧力によって弾性体連続部材3Sに付けられたホットメルト接着剤により第2シート材2Sとテープ状シート材33Tとを弾性体連続部材3Sを介して接着し、外装体11となる外装体連続部材11Sを得る。なお、接着剤は、接着剤塗工装置215により、テープ状シート材33T上および第2シート材2S上のいずれか一方または両方に供給して、弾性体連続部材3Sと接着してもよい。
カットロール219に対向するロール220はその受けロールであり、その周面は平滑面となっている。
そして離間された外装体の腹側部21と背側部23とは、互いが平行になるように案内される。この平行に案内する手段として、平行化案内ロール(図示せず)を用いることが好ましい。この平行化案内ロールは、例えば、外装体の腹側部21と背側部23のそれぞれの上下に配されたロールから構成される。この平行に案内する手段は、上記案内ロールに限定されることはなく、外装体の腹側部21と背側部23との間隔を平行にするものであれば如何なる手段であってもよい。
この所定間隔を含むパンツ型おむつ10の寸法等は、サイズや用途に応じて適宜選択する。なお、前述した弾性体切断工程は、外装体連続部材11Sをその幅方向の中央部で切断した後、または切断と同時に行ってもよい。
これにより、通気性が高められるので、蒸れを低減し、肌の隠蔽性に優れたパンツ型おむつ10(10A)を提供することができる。
また上記弾性体連続部材3Sは、テープ状シート材33Tと第2シート材2Sとの間で、かつ、シール部37、37(図10では図示せず、前記図4(3)参照。)間にあって、しかも、前記エンボス接合する以前の工程で接着剤により間欠的にテープ状シート材33T、第2シート材2Sに固定される。したがって、弾性体連続部材3Sは大部分でテープ状シート材33Tおよび第2シート材2Sに対して自由になっている。これにより、テープ状シート材33T(外層材33)の幅方向における通気性を向上させることができる。
上記接着剤は、第2シート材2Sとテープ状シート材33Tに塗工されることが好ましい。図面では、第2シート材2Sとテープ状シート材33Tの両方に塗工する場合を示したが、弾性体連続部材3Sが細く接着剤が弾性体連続部材3Sの周囲を回り込める場合にはどちらか一方に塗工してもよい。なお、上記接着剤は弾性体連続部材3Sの方に塗ることもできる。その場合、弾性体連続部材3Sへの塗布位置は第2シート材2Sとテープ状シート材33Tとの合流の直前で行うことが好ましい。
このようにして、外装体11となる外装体連続部材11Sを得る。
また、弾性体連続部材と第1シート材1Sまたは第2シート材2Sとの固定、および第1シート材1Sと第2シート材2Sとの固定において、第1の実施態様と比べて、多くの接着剤が不要となり環境負荷低減が可能となり、またコスト低減となる。
この結果、外装体11となる外装体連続部材11Sを得る。
その後の工程は、外装体スリットカッターを用いた外装体連続部材11Sの切断工程を行わない以外、前述の第1の実施態様と同様である。
そして、前述したように、外層材スリットカッター211A、211Bにより上記第1シート材1SA、1SBをそれぞれ複数本に分割してテープ状シート材33T(33TA)、33T(33TB)を得る。続いてニップロール217、218間に、第1シート材1Sと第2シート材2Sとの間に弾性連続部材3Sを挟むようにして、第1シート材1Sと第2シート材2Sとを送る。その後は、第1の実施態様と同様の工程が行われる。このように、弾性連続部材3Sを挟んだ第1シート材1Sと第2シート材2Sとからなる外装体11は腹側部21と背側部23とに分けられて製造される。したがって、前述の第1の実施形態のように、外装体11をスリットする工程は行わない。
また本発明のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法によれば、伸縮性、身体への適合性、通気性、肌の隠蔽性等を向上させたパンツ型着用物品を容易に製造することができる。
また本発明のパンツ型着用物品は、上述のようなパンツ型のおむつのほか、生理用ショーツ、ショーツ型ナプキンなどの、パンツ型の構造を有する吸収性物品一般を含む概念である。このパンツ型着用物品は、乳幼児用のものであっても、成人用のものであってもよい。また、吸収性本体を具備しない使い捨て下着であってもよい。
前記腹側部および前記背側部は、第1シート材と第2シート材とが積層されている外装体から構成されており、
前記第1シート材は、前記外装体の身丈方向に複数配され、複数の前記第1シート材は互いに重なることなく、かつ隣接するように配され、
前記外装体は、腰周り方向に伸縮性を有するパンツ型着用物品。
<2>前記積層領域は、前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に弾性体を具備する、または前記第1シート材および前記第2シート材の両方またはどちらか一方が伸縮性を有する材料で形成されている前記<1>に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<3>前記弾性体を介して前記第1シート材が前記第2シート材に接着剤によりに接着されている前記<2>に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<4>前記弾性体は伸長状態でその両端が接着剤により前記第1シート材及び前記第2シート材に固定され、前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材が2層となる部分に複数のシール部が配置され、該パンツ型着用物品の幅方向に隣接する前記シール部間で、前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材のそれぞれに襞が形成されている前記<2>または<3>に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<5>前記第1シート材および前記第2シート材の両方またはどちらか一方は、延伸加工が施されている前記<2>から<4>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<6>前記第1シート材自体が腰周り方向に伸縮性を有し、前記第1シート材が伸長状態で前記第2シート材に付けられている前記<2>から<5>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<7>前記弾性体が前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に挟持されている前記<6>に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<8>前記弾性体を介して固定された前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材は、腰周り方向に延伸加工が施され、前記弾性体は伸長状態で前記第1シート材および前記第2シート材に固定されている前記<2>から<7>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<9>前記第1シート材は、その幅方向における一部で前記第2シート材と固定され、自由端となった前記第1シート材の縁部にフリルが形成されている前記<1>から<8>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<10>前記第1シート材は、その幅方向における中央部で前記第2シート材と固定されている前記<9>に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<11>前記外装体は、延伸加工が施されている前記<1>から<10>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<12>前記第1シート材は、その幅方向における中央部で前記第2シート材と固定され、自由端となった前記第1シート材の縁部にフリルが形成されている前記<1>から<11>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<13>前記第1シート材は、外装体を構成する外層材である前記<1>から<12>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<14>前記第1シート材は、外装体を構成する内層材である前記<1>から<12>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<15>前記第1シート材の幅は、1mm以上であって、3mm以上が好ましく、5mm以上がより好ましい前記<1>から<14>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<16>前記第1シート材の幅は、60mm以下であって、40mm以下が好ましく、30mm以下がより好ましい前記<1>から<15>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<17>前記第1シート材の幅は、1mm以上60mm以下であって、3mm以上40mm以下が好ましく、5mm以上30mm以下がより好ましい前記<1>から<16>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<18>前記第2シート材は前記外装体を構成する内層材であり、前記外層材はその幅方向の中央部で前記内層材に固定されている前記<1>から<17>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<19>パンツ型着用物品はパンツ型おむつであり、前記腹側部と前記背側部を形成する前記外装体と、前記股下部を形成する吸収性本体とで構成されている前記<1>から<18>のいずれか1に記載に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<20>前記外装体が前記股下部にも配された前記<1>から<19>のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
<21>前記外装体の肌当接面側に吸収性本体が配された前記<1>から<20>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
複数本のテープ状の第1シート材を、その幅方向に互いに重なることなく、かつ隣接するように配列して準備する工程と、
前記複数本の第1シート材の配列した状態を維持して、第2シート材と積層するとともに固定して外装体を得る工程と、
着用者の腹側に配される腹側部と着用者の背側に配される背側部の前記外装体を互いに重ね合わせ、前記外装体を所定間隔で接合する工程と、
前記外装体を幅方向に切断し個々のパンツ型着用物品に分離する工程と、
を備えるパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<24>前記接合する工程では、前記第2シート材同士を内側に対向させて2組の前記外装体を互いに重ね合わせる前記<22>または<23>に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<25>前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に、弾性体を介在させて接合する前記<22>から<24>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<26>前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に弾性体を介在させた状態で、前記弾性体の存在していない領域の前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材同士をエンボス接合する前記<22>から<24>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<27>前記弾性体は、複数本の弾性体連続部材を用意し、それぞれが伸長された状態で、かつ、接着剤塗工装置により供給された接着剤が付された状態で供給される前記<25>または<26>に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<28>前記腹側部の第1シート材と前記背側部の第1シート材とを、幅方向に離間させた状態で、一枚の前記第2シート材に供給する前記<22>から<27>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<29>前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材とを積層させる前に、前記第1シート材および前記第2シート材のいずれか一方もしくは両方に、または前記第1シート材および前記第2シート材を積層状態にした後に、延伸加工を施す前記<22>から<28>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<30>前記パンツ型着用物品は吸収性本体を備え、吸収性本体を前記外装体の所定の位置に配置する前記<22>から<29>のいずれか1に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
<31>前記吸収性本体を前記外装体の所定の位置に配置する前に、該吸収性本体が付けられる部分について、弾性体の弾性機能を発現させなくする弾性体切断工程を備える前記<30>に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。

Claims (16)
- 着用者の腹側に配される腹側部と、股間部に配される股下部と、背側に配される背側部とを有し、腹側部の側縁部と背側部の側縁部とが接合されてパンツ型に形成されているパンツ型着用物品であって、
前記腹側部および前記背側部は第1シート材と第2シート材とが積層されている外装体から構成されており、
前記第1シート材は、前記外装体の身丈方向に複数配され、複数の前記第1シート材は互いに重なることなく、かつ隣接するように配され、
前記外装体は、腰周り方向に伸縮性を有するパンツ型着用物品。 - 前記積層領域は、前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に弾性体を具備する、または前記第1シート材および前記第2シート材の両方またはどちらか一方が伸縮性を有する材料で形成されている請求項1に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記弾性体を介して前記第1シート材が前記第2シート材に接着剤によりに接着されている請求項2に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記弾性体は伸長状態でその両端が接着剤により前記第1シート材及び前記第2シート材に固定され、前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材が2層となる部分に複数のシール部が配置され、該パンツ型着用物品の幅方向に隣接する前記シール部間で、前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材のそれぞれに襞が形成されている請求項2または3に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記第1シート材自体が腰周り方向に伸縮性を有し、前記第1シート材が伸長状態で前記第2シート材に付けられている請求項2から4のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記弾性体が前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に挟持されている請求項5に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記第1シート材は、その幅方向における一部で前記第2シート材と固定され、自由端となった前記第1シート材の縁部にフリルが形成されている請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記第1シート材は、その幅方向における中央部で前記第2シート材と固定されている請求項7に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記第1シート材は、その幅方向における中央部で前記第2シート材と固定され、自由端となった前記第1シート材の縁部にフリルが形成されている請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- 前記第1シート材は、外装体を構成する外層材である請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- パンツ型着用物品はパンツ型おむつであり、前記腹側部と前記背側部を形成する前記外装体と、前記股下部を形成する吸収性本体とで構成されている請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品。
- パンツ型着用物品の製造方法であって、
複数本のテープ状の第1シート材を、その幅方向に互いに重なることなく、かつ隣接するように配列して準備する工程と、
前記複数本の第1シート材の配列した状態を維持して、第2シート材と積層するとともに固定して外装体を得る工程と、
着用者の腹側に配される腹側部と着用者の背側に配される背側部の前記外装体を互いに重ね合わせ、前記外装体を所定間隔で接合する工程と、
前記外装体を幅方向に切断し個々のパンツ型着用物品に分離する工程と、
を備えるパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。 - 前記テープ状の第1シート材を準備する工程では、シート材を幅方向に複数にスリットして第1シート材を形成している
請求項12に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。 - 前記接合する工程では、前記第2シート材同士を内側に対向させて2組の前記外装体を互いに重ね合わせる
請求12又は13に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。 - 前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に、弾性体を介在させて接合する
請求項12から14のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。 - 前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材との間に前記弾性体を介在させた状態で、前記弾性体の存在していない領域の前記第1シート材と前記第2シート材同士をエンボス接合する
請求項12から15のいずれか1項に記載のパンツ型着用物品の製造方法。
