Definitions
- the invention relates to a soil compaction device with a compactor plate.
- Soil compacting devices in the form of vibrating plates, plate compactors or rollers are known, for example, as hydraulic add-on compactors, ie as accessories for excavators, in particular in trench and pipeline construction.
- hydraulic add-on compactors ie as accessories for excavators, in particular in trench and pipeline construction.
- quick-change bodies and turrets they offer cost-effective replacements cost savings and an increase in occupational safety, since the residence of construction workers to compaction work in trenches can be omitted.
- Transport to the carrier, i. the excavator or the place of use by means of suitable means of transport, such. Steel ropes, hoisting ropes or slings with load hook in connection with special hangers.
- the soil compacting device is lifted by means of the transport means onto a transport pallet, which is received and transferred by means of a lifting fork of a suitably equipped vehicle, such as a forklift or a lifting fork device of a wheel loader.
- the standing on the transport pallet soil compactor is usually moved in unsecured condition. In particular, during braking or driving on an uneven track on a construction site slipping or tilting of the soil compactor threatens from the transport pallet. This can lead not only to damage to the soil compaction device itself, but also to personal injury, which is why the previously unsecured transport represents a security risk.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a soil compaction device that is easy and safe to transport.
- the object is achieved by a soil compaction device with the features of claim 1 and a transport system with the features of the independent claim.
- the rigid holding element of the transport means is a horizontal support of a fork tine of a lifting fork, which is inserted in the longitudinal direction of this carrier viewed from each other and aligned receiving portions.
- the invention has the advantage that safe transport without additional aids is possible due to the receiving sections arranged on the soil compaction device, wherein tilting of the soil compaction device is precluded by the axial distance between the two receiving sections of a pair. By using two pairs of receiving sections, the soil compactor is also secured laterally against tipping.
- the embodiment of the invention does not require any of the lifting means described above, such as hoisting ropes or slings with load hooks and dispenses with the use of a transport pallet.
- the soil compaction device can only be moved or moved by means of a lifting fork. Transportation to the next job site on transport vehicles with a loading area, such as a truck, is easier because the soil compaction device can be secured directly on the loading area.
- Another advantage is that without the transport pallet, the center of gravity of the arrangement is no longer changed. As a result, the tilting moment of the soil compaction device is not changed and thus the transport safety significantly improved and safer.
- the invention is particularly advantageous if the soil compaction device is a cultivation compactor which can be coupled to an excavator.
- the receiving portions comprise two spaced-apart and preferably mutually aligned recesses or two spaced-apart and preferably aligned portions of a single recess into which the complementary rigid support member of the transport means can engage.
- the spaced-apart receiving portions need not necessarily be formed by separate parts. It is only essential that the arrangement is such that the rigid holding element can be torque-rigidly connected to the soil compaction device at least in its longitudinal direction.
- the proposed recess is inexpensive and easy to implement and can be retrofitted even in existing soil compaction equipment. In addition, this requires a particularly stable structure.
- the supporting part of the means of transport can take up the compressor particularly easily.
- the recess preferably has a rectangular shape, whereby the soil compaction device can be stored particularly securely, since the forks of Hubgabeln are surrounded in the receiving portions at least substantially circumferentially.
- the forks of lift forks also usually have a rectangular cross section, so that a kind of positive engagement is achieved, which can transmit a moment about the longitudinal axis of the fork tine.
- the supporting part of the receiving portion is at least partially always circumferentially encompassed. This ensures that the soil compactor can not slip sideways or tip over. Even in extreme slopes caused by uneven terrain conditions on construction sites, the soil compaction device can therefore not detach from the transport vehicle.
- a forks of a lifting fork for example, a forklift provided.
- the fork could be released from the forklift and secured to the truck.
- the lifting fork is taken out of the receiving sections and secured the soil compaction device using the receiving sections on the truck. This makes transport particularly easy and safe.
- the soil compaction device may comprise at least one adapter which can be inserted into the recess for closing the recess and / or for fastening differently configured holding means.
- the soil compaction device can not only with a lifting fork, but with other lifting means, such as rods or similar. or lifting forks of smaller dimensions. If the soil compaction device is used, the recesses are protected from contamination.
- the compression element is connected via connecting means to an upper part of the soil compacting device and in each case a receiving portion is formed in at least one connecting device.
- At least one connecting device has a lower support structure which is connected to the compression element, and an upper support structure which is connected to the upper part. Between the lower support structure and the upper support structure, a buffer device is arranged.
- a buffer device may for example be a metal rubber buffer.
- the support structures are particularly stable and often structurally simple, so that the local arrangement of the receiving sections can be structurally easily realized.
- the receiving sections are formed on an upper part of the soil compaction device.
- the center of gravity is below the point of application of the retaining element, which reduces the risk of tilting.
- the receiving sections there in the form of rings or hooks in order to be able to lift the device by means of a crane. As a result, the compressor can also be easily lifted by bounded loading areas or lower parking spaces.
- a further embodiment of the invention provides that the receiving sections are arranged on an upper side of the compacting element.
- the receiving sections are arranged on an upper side of the compacting element.
- the receiving sections are arranged in or on a dome section for coupling the soil compaction device to a construction machine.
- the dome section may be a quick coupler, as is common, for example, for coupling an add-on compactor to an excavator arm. This is the uppermost part of a soil compactor, so that the center of gravity is below the receiving sections and so far there is no risk of tipping over.
- the receiving portions are present in a common recess.
- the advantage of this embodiment is the particularly simple and thus inexpensive design.
- the transport means may comprise at least one securing device which prevents the holding element of the transport means from being detached from the receiving sections of the soil compaction device.
