Abstract

L'invention porte sur un séparateur d'huile (1), agencé dans le couvre-culasse d'un moteur à combustion interne, qui comprend une paroi de séparation (27) entre une entrée de gaz de ventilation de carter (24) et une sortie de gaz de ventilation de carter (25), la paroi de séparation (27) présentant des trous de passage (30) qui la traversent. Le gaz de ventilation de carter, qui est devenu un flux à haute vitesse dans les trous de passage (30), heurte une chicane (32). Il y a une ouverture en forme de fente (33) entre le bord inférieur (32a) de la chicane (32) et la face de fond d'une chambre de séparateur (23), et l'huile séparée est évacuée par un tube de drain (35). La chicane (32) est constituée d'une couche de matière fibreuse (41) sur le côté de face avant et d'un élément du type treillis (42) sur le côté de face arrière. Une grande partie d'un flux de gaz de ventilation de carter à haute vitesse, qui est sorti par les trous de passage (30), passe à travers la couche de matière fibreuse (41) et à travers l'élément du type treillis (42), et le résultat est que la performance de collecte et la perte de pression de brouillard d'huile sont obtenues simultanément à un niveau élevé.
