- a diameter expansion process such as press-fitting a punch 170 having an outer shape
- a can body 120 having a diameter expanded from the opening 123 to a predetermined diameter expansion position B is obtained (see FIG. 8). Since the diameter-enlarged position B is closer to the opening 123 than the diameter-reduced position A, the can body 120 has a shape in which the body 122 near the bottom 121 is constricted.
- the can body diameter increasing device 14 for performing the diameter expanding process on the opening body 113 side of the reduced diameter position A with respect to the can body 110 subjected to the diameter reducing process will be described. 9 and 10 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted here. Similar to the can body diameter reducing device 10, the can body diameter increasing device 14 includes a can body holder 20 that holds the can body 110, and a diameter increasing die portion 160 that includes a punch 170 that expands the can body 110. Have The die portion 160 is not provided with an outer die that fits to the outer peripheral surface of the barrel portion 112 of the can body 110, but is provided with a punch 170 that is press-fitted into the inner peripheral surface of the barrel portion 112.
- the punch 170 has a tapered portion 170a that gradually increases in diameter from a small-diameter distal end (right end in the drawing) toward the proximal end (left in the drawing), and a proximal end of the tapered portion 170a. And a large-diameter portion 170b on the side.
- the outer diameter of the tip of the tapered portion 170a is smaller than the opening 113 of the can body 110, and can be easily inserted into the can body 110.
- the outer diameter of the large diameter portion 170b is larger than the body portion 112 of the can body 110, and the punch 170 is opened to the can body 110 until the right end position of the large diameter portion 170b reaches the vicinity of the enlarged diameter position B.
- the body 112 of the can body 110 can be expanded in diameter from the opening 113 to the diameter expansion position B (FIG. 10).
- the can body 120 which has the can body 122 with which the bottom part vicinity from the diameter reduction position A to the diameter expansion position B was constricted is obtained (FIG. 8).

- the contact portion 62 in the can body diameter reducing device 12 is the tip of the second restraining ring 90 and is disposed so as to contact the tip of the first restraining ring 40.
- the die 70 does not advance until the contact portion 61 contacts the first restraining ring 40. For this reason, the outer peripheral surface of the body part 122 of the can body 120 is processed without being partially restrained, and there is a possibility that deformation such as swelling of the body part 122 may occur. Therefore, it is conceivable to increase the length of the first restraining ring 40 in the can axis direction, but it may be difficult to attach the can body 120 to the can body holder 20.
- the length of the first restraining ring 40 is not changed, and the second restraining ring 90 extending in front of the die 70 is attached to the die holder 80.
- the diameter reduction process can be performed in a state in which the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 122 of the can body 120 is constrained by the ring 90.
- the tip of the second restraining ring 90 comes into contact with the tip of the first restraining ring 40 (FIG. 12) and pushes down the first restraining ring 40 (FIG. 13). Therefore, the can body 130 whose diameter has been reduced to the predetermined diameter reduction position C of the body portion 122 can be obtained while restraining the entire outer peripheral surface of the body portion 122 of the can body 120 (see FIG. 8).
- the die 70 is advanced to a predetermined position and the diameter reduction processing is performed, the die 70 is retracted (FIG. 14), the plunger 23 is advanced to protrude the bottom portion 131 of the can body 130, and the diameter reduction position is obtained from the opening 133.
- the can body 130 in which the diameter reduction process is performed on the body portion 132 up to C can be removed from the can body holder 20 (FIG. 15).
- a deformed bottle can 200 having a constricted shape near the bottom as shown in FIG. 8 is obtained.
- the first restraining ring 40 restrains the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 122 in the vicinity of the bottom portion 121 of the can body 120.
- the body 122 is prevented from bulging out from the bottom 121 at the time of machining in the vicinity of the enlarged diameter position B.
- the second restraining ring 90 in the vicinity of the die 70, it is possible to effectively prevent the body portion 122 from bulging out even when the amount of deformation by the die 70 is relatively large. Further, after the die portion 60 is retracted, the first restraining ring 40 that has been retracted by being pressed by the contact portion 62 of the die portion 60 during the molding of the can body 120 is advanced by the spring 50 and returned to its original position. be able to.

Further, when the disk 321 is driven forward / backward by the drive unit 330 via the support shaft 332, each processing die portion 322 moves forward / backward in the can axis direction with respect to the workpiece W, and various molding processes are performed on the workpiece W.
- the tool holding part 320 includes a plurality of shoulder necking molds for reducing the diameter of the opening of the work W (neck-in processing), and screw parts of the base part.
- the intermittent rotation stop position of the work holder 310 (disk 311) with the axis of the support shaft 331 as the center of rotation is such that the can axis of each work W with the opening directed to the tool holder 320 side corresponds to each processing die part. It is set so as to coincide with the central axis of 322, respectively. And by the intermittent rotation of the disk 311 by the drive part 330, each workpiece
- the can body holder 20 includes a structure in which the first restraining ring 40 that restrains the bottom side of the outer peripheral surface of the body of the can body is retracted in the can axis direction as the processing die portion 322 advances. Yes. Therefore, the workpiece W can be held without hindering the machining of the vicinity of the bottom of the workpiece W due to the advancement of each machining die portion 322.
- each processing die unit 322 performs processing according to each process on the workpiece W, and both the holding units 310. , 40 are in a state of being separated from each other, the work holding part 310 is rotationally moved so that the processing die part 322 for the next process faces each work W.
- the workpiece W is subjected to various forming processes, and a can body having a desired shape is obtained. .
- One constraining ring can reduce the diameter while suppressing elastic deformation such as swelling near the bottom.
- the first restraining ring 40 of the can body holder 20 is pushed down by the pushing-down means (the die 70 and the second restraining ring 90) with the advancement of the processing die part (die part 60, 160).
- the first constraining ring moving means having the structure of returning to the initial position by the returning means (spring 50) when the die portions 60 and 160 are retracted is employed. It is not limited to a structure that can be pressed down by abutting directly on the surface.
- a structure including a driving means 190 such as an actuator for moving the first restraining ring 40 forward and backward, and a control means 192 for controlling the driving means 190.
- the drive unit 190 can be controlled by the control unit 192 so as to drive the drive unit 190 in accordance with the advance / retreat position of the die parts 60 and 180. For example, by contact between the first restraining ring 40 and the die 70. Parts damage and the like can be prevented.
- the body of a can body made of a metal material is reduced in diameter to the vicinity of the bottom to provide a deformed can with a constricted bottom.
