Claims (6)
- 本体の一方の表面において空気流入側に形成され、ディスク停止時に媒体面と接触する流入パッドと、前記スライダ本体の一方の表面において空気流出側に形成され、ディスク停止時に媒体面と接触する流出パッドと、前記スライダ本体の一方の表面において空気の流れ方向の両側に沿って形成され、ディスク停止時に媒体面と接触する一対のサイドパッドとを備え、かつ、前記流入パッド、前記流出パッド、及び、前記サイドパッドのコンタクト面から遠ざかる方向に段差部を介して2段階の段差面が形成されると共に、内部に記録用主磁極ヘッドと再生用磁気抵抗効果型素子、当該記録用主磁極ヘッドに近接した位置に配置された近接場光発生素子、そして、当該近接場光発生素子に外部からの光を導くための導波路を備えた磁気ヘッドスライダと、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダの一方の側面に取り付けられ、前記近接場光発生素子への光を発光する発光素子を含むサブマウントと、そして、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダと前記サブマウントを一体にして先端部に支持すると共に、前記磁気ヘッドスライダに荷重を負荷するディンプルをその一部に設けた支持体と、
を備えた磁気ヘッドスライダ装置において、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダの幅方向の長さを「w」、前記磁気ヘッドスライダの側面の端と前記ディンプル位置との距離を「yp」としたとき、これら「yp」と「w」が、yp/w<0.5、又は、yp/w>0.5で示される条件を満たす範囲にあることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダ装置。 - 前記請求項1に記載した磁気ヘッドスライダ装置において、前記磁一対のサイドパッドの前記コンタクト面の面積を「S3」、「S4」とした時、S3<S4、又は、S3>S4で示される条件を満たす範囲にあることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダ装置。
- 前記請求項1に記載した磁気ヘッドスライダ装置において、前記一対のサイドパッドの前記コンタクト面から1段目の段差面までの深さを「δs3」、「δs4」としたとき、δs3<δs4、又は、δs3>δs4で示される条件を満たす範囲にあることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダ装置。
- 本体の一方の表面において空気流入側に形成され、ディスク停止時に媒体面と接触する流入パッドと、前記スライダ本体の一方の表面において空気流出側に形成され、ディスク停止時に媒体面と接触する流出パッドと、前記スライダ本体の一方の表面において空気の流れ方向の両側に沿って形成され、ディスク停止時に媒体面と接触する一対のサイドパッドとを備え、かつ、前記流入パッド、前記流出パッド、及び、前記サイドパッドのコンタクト面から遠ざかる方向に段差部を介して2段階の段差面が形成されると共に、内部に記録用主磁極ヘッドと再生用磁気抵抗効果型素子、当該記録用主磁極ヘッドに近接した位置に配置された近接場光発生素子、そして、当該近接場光発生素子に外部からの光を導くための導波路を備えた磁気ヘッドスライダと、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダに取り付けられ、前記近接場光発生素子への光を発光する発光素子を含むサブマウントと、そして、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダと前記サブマウントを一体にして先端部に支持すると共に、前記磁気ヘッドスライダに荷重を負荷するディンプルをその一部に設けた支持体と、
を備えた磁気ヘッドスライダ装置において、
更に、前記サブマウントと同じ質量の部材を、当該サブマウントと一対で、前記磁気ヘッドスライダの対向する両側面に、前記磁気ヘッドスライダの質量中心との差であるオフセットがゼロ(0)になるように取り付けていることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダ装置。 - 前記請求項4に記載した磁気ヘッドスライダ装置において、前記近接場光発生素子への光を発光する発光素子を含むサブマウントと、前記近接場光発生素子への光を発光する発光素子を含むサブマウントと同じ質量の部材とを、両側面に取り付けている前記磁気ヘッドスライダの質量がフェムトスライダ単体の質量よりも大きく0.783mg以下となる条件を満たす範囲にあることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダ装置。
- 磁気ヘッドスライダ装置と、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダ装置の磁気ヘッドスライダに対向して回転可能に配置された磁気記録媒体と、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダ装置を駆動するスライダ駆動部と、
前記磁気記録媒体を回転駆動するディスク駆動部と、そして、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダ装置の磁気ヘッドへの記録再生信号を処理する信号処理回路とを備えた磁気ディスク装置において、
前記磁気ヘッドスライダ装置は、前記請求項1又は4に記載された磁気ヘッドスライダ装置であることを特徴とする磁気ディスク装置。
