Abstract
본 발명은 탄소재; 및 상기 탄소재 입자의 표면에 형성되며, 평균직경의 크기가 1 ㎛ 이하인 복수의 Sn계 도메인들로 형성된 코팅층을 구비하는 리튬 이차전지용 음극 활물질 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 탄소재의 표면에 Sn계 도메인 코팅층을 구비하는 본 발명의 음극 활물질은 리튬과 Sn의 합금화에 의해서 발생하는 체적 팽창에 의한 스트레스를 완화할 수 있으며, 본 발명의 음극 활물질 제조방법은 코팅층의 두께 조절이 용이하다.
