図20は、実施の形態2に係る受信装置の構成を示すブロック図である。実施の形態2においては、カプセル型内視鏡10の胃通過確認や大腸到達確認を受信装置が自動判定することを特徴とする。実施の形態2におけるカプセル型内視鏡システムの全体構成は、図1に示すものと同様である。
受信装置23においては、検査段階から上記のような体内画像の特徴量に基づく大腸到達の自動確認を随時実行しても良い。この場合、大腸到達が確認された際に、受信装置23の操作モードを患者モードから医療従事者モードに変更する操作がなされて、検査後処理段階に移行する。
上記判定部232において、カプセル型内視鏡10の体外への排出確認を自動で行っても良い。具体的には、検査後処理段階の間、画像処理部231は、体内画像の特徴量として、体内画像の輝度値及びRGB表色系のR値を算出する。判定部232は、算出された輝度値及びR値を予め設定された閾値と比較することにより、カプセル型内視鏡10が体外に排出されたか否かを判定する。
次に、本発明の実施の形態3について説明する。
図24は、実施の形態3に係る受信装置の構成を示すブロック図である。実施の形態3においては、検査中に異常事態が発生した際に、受信装置が患者に対する行動指示を通知することを特徴とする。なお、実施の形態3におけるカプセル型内視鏡システムの全体構成は、図1に示すものと同様である。
次に、本発明の実施の形態4について説明する。
図27は、実施の形態4に係るカプセル型内視鏡システムの概略構成を示す模式図である。このカプセル型内視鏡システム4は、カプセル型内視鏡10と、受信装置25と、制御装置31とを備え、受信装置25と制御装置31とが、通信ネットワークN3を介した有線又は無線通信により互いに情報を送受信することを特徴とする。なお、受信装置25からの画像データのダウンロードについては、実施の形態1と同様にクレードル40を用いて行われる。
受信装置25は、受信装置20(図3)の構成に対し、制御部210の代わりに、操作モード設定部212を含む制御部250を備え、さらに、制御情報送受信部251を備える。
患者が嚥下したカプセル型内視鏡10の胃通過確認及び大腸到達確認は、制御装置31側で行っても良い。具体的な動作としては、まず、受信装置25は、胃通過確認に関する処理情報を制御装置31から受信すると、その時点でカプセル型内視鏡10から取得した画像データを制御装置31に送信する。制御装置31は、受信した画像データに対して画像処理を施し、対応する体内画像の特徴量を算出して閾値と比較することにより、当該体内画像が胃を通過したものであるか否かを判定する。或いは、表示部311に表示された体内画像を医療従事者が目視により判定しても良い。このとき、当該体内画像が胃を通過したものである場合、制御装置31は、次の処理情報を受信装置25に送信する。一方、当該体内画像がまだ胃に達していない場合には、制御装置31は、患者の蠕動運動を促進するための追加処理に関する処理情報を受信装置25に送信する。大腸到達確認についても同様に、受信装置25から制御装置31に画像データを送信し、制御装置31側において判定を行っても良い。
上記実施の形態4においては、制御装置31から送信される処理情報に応じて、受信装置25の操作モード設定部212が操作モードの設定を行うが、操作モードの制御を制御装置31側で直接行っても良い。具体的には、制御装置31は、操作入力部312から入力された操作信号に応じて、操作モード設定信号を受信装置25に送信する。受信装置25は、受信した操作モード設定信号に従って、受信装置25の操作モードを医療従事者モード又は患者モードに設定する。
受信装置25における操作モードの設定は、病院からの患者の出入りに応じて切り替える構成としても良い。具体的には、受信装置25を携帯した患者が病院にいる間、即ち、受信装置25が病院内に設置された無線ネットワークに接続可能である間、受信装置25の操作モードは医療従事者モードに設定される。一方、患者が病院から離れている間、即ち、受信装置25が病院内の無線ネットワークから切断されている間、受信装置25の操作モードは、患者モードに設定される。
上記実施の形態4においては、実施の形態1と同様に、患者が受信装置25に対して操作入力を行うことにより再来院の情報が記憶されるが(図8のステップS212に対応)、患者が病院の受付を通過すると自動で再来院が受け付けられる構成としても良い。
上記実施の形態4において、検査フロー管理部318は、検査準備から検査後処理までの間における処理の流れを制御しているが、変形例1-6と同様に、受信装置25を用いて患者の検査前スケジュールにおける処理の流れを制御しても良い。この場合、検査フロー管理部318は、例えば図4に示すような検査フロー情報に対し、検査前に実行すべき処理や行動に関する情報が追加された検査フロー情報を、制御情報送受信部314を介して受信装置25に送信しておく。また、検査前における患者の行動記録については、受信装置25のメモリ209に蓄積し、画像データのダウンロード時に制御装置31に転送するようにしても良いし、受信装置25に対して操作入力がなされる毎に、受信装置25から制御装置31に患者の行動記録を送信し、制御装置31のメモリ315に記憶させるようにしても良い。
上記実施の形態4において、制御装置31は、胃通過確認や大腸到達確認等に関する実施情報を受信装置25から受信した後、これらの実施情報をその後の検査フローの管理に利用しても良い。
制御装置31が受信装置25から受信した検査経過情報は、例えば、複数の患者に対する検査の管理に利用することができる。図30は、個別の検査経過情報を集計して作成された検査管理情報を示す表である。この検査管理情報は、患者ID及び患者名等の患者情報、各患者の検査における検査経過時間、検査の完了時刻、及び現在の検査ステータス等の情報を含む。
次に、本発明の実施の形態5について説明する。
図31は、実施の形態5に係るカプセル型内視鏡システムの構成を示すブロック図である。実施の形態5に係るカプセル型内視鏡システム5は、受信装置26及び制御装置32を備え、検査中に異常事態が発生した際に、制御装置から受信装置を介して患者に対し行動指示を行うことを特徴とする。
受信装置26が異常を検知した際に表示部203に表示される画面(例えば図26の画面W61)は、制御装置32側において生成しても良い。具体的には、受信装置26は、異常検知部261により異常が検知された場合、異常の発生、及びその根拠となる物性値(例えば、カプセル型内視鏡10から受信した無線信号におけるノイズ量)等の情報を、制御装置32に送信する。これに応じて、制御装置32は、受信した情報に基づき、異常検知情報設定部321が設定した異常検知情報を参照して、異常項目及び行動指示を抽出する。さらに、制御装置32は、患者への行動指示が表示された画面を生成して受信装置26に送信する。受信装置26は、受信した画面を表示部203に表示する。
なお、制御装置32から受信装置26にメッセージや画面を送信する手段としては、HTTP(Hyper Text Transfer Protocol)、FTP(File Transfer Protocol)等を用いれば良い。また、受信装置26において受信したメッセージや画面を表示する際には、電子メールソフト(メーラー)の他、汎用アプリケーション又は専用アプリケーションを用いることができる。
受信装置26が異常を検知した際に表示部203に表示されるメッセージは、制御装置32側においてマニュアルで作成しても良い。具体的には、受信装置26は、異常検知部261により異常が検知された場合、異常の発生、及びその根拠となる物性値等の情報を制御装置32に送信する。これに応じて、制御装置32は、異常の発生を医療従事者に通知する画面を表示部311に表示させる。図32Aに示す画面W71は、そのような通知画面の表示例である。この画面W71は、異常が発生した検査に対応する患者情報や検査のステータス等の情報が表示される緊急情報表示領域D71と、異常の内容が表示される警告表示領域D72と、医療従事者が患者に対するメッセージを入力するためのテキスト入力領域D73とを含む。画面W71上において、テキスト入力領域D73へのテキスト入力操作、及びマウス等を用いて送信アイコンD74を選択するポインタ操作がなされると、制御装置32は、テキスト入力領域D73に記載されたメッセージを受信装置26に送信する。
上記実施の形態5においては、異常事態が発生した場合、患者に対する行動指示が受信装置26の表示部203に表示されるだけであったが、患者側から受信装置26に対して情報を入力できるようにしても良い。
上記実施の形態5においては、検査準備から検査後処理までの間における処理の流れを制御しているが、変形例4-5と同様に、受信装置26を用いて患者の検査前スケジュールにおける処理の流れを制御しても良い。この場合、検査前の段階においても、上記変形例5-2と同様に、患者へのメッセージをマニュアルで作成して制御装置32から受信装置26に随時送信しても良いし、上記変形例5-3と同様に、患者からのメッセージや質問を受信装置26から制御装置32に随時送信しても良い。また、検査前における患者の体調等の問診情報を受信装置26と制御装置32との間で送受信しても良い。さらに、制御装置32は、患者が実行すべき処理や行動の実行時刻の到来を、予め患者情報に登録された連絡先(携帯端末のメールアドレス等)に通知するようにしても良い。
次に、本発明の実施の形態6について説明する。
図35は、実施の形態6に係るカプセル型内視鏡システムの構成を示すブロック図である。図35に示すように、実施の形態6に係るカプセル型内視鏡システム6は、受信装置25及び制御装置33を備え、検査を受ける患者の本人確認をカプセル型内視鏡システム6が自動で行うことを特徴とする。
このような自動本人確認は、医療従事者が体内画像を読影する際に、体内画像の画像データと患者情報との整合性を確認する際に行っても良い。具体的には、検査終了後、受信装置25は、カプセル型内視鏡10によって撮像した患者の顔画像データを他の体内画像の画像データと共に制御装置33に転送する。画像処理部316は、冒頭近傍の画像データに対して顔認証を行うことにより、顔が撮影されている画像を抽出する。また、画像処理部316は、それ以外の一連の画像データに対して所定の画像処理を施して体内画像を生成する。本人確認部331は、画像処理部316によって抽出された画像と、患者情報管理部319に登録されている患者の顔画像とを比較することにより、本人確認を行う。
次に、本発明の実施の形態7について説明する。
図38は、実施の形態7に係るカプセル型内視鏡システムの構成を示すブロック図である。図38に示すように、実施の形態7に係るカプセル型内視鏡システム7は、受信装置25及び制御装置34を備え、病院等の施設におけるカプセル型内視鏡10の在庫管理及び受信装置の管理を、制御装置34が行うことを特徴とする。
当該施設内に、カプセル型内視鏡10等のディスポーザル製品の在庫管理システムや発注システムが備えられている場合、上記カプセル在庫管理部341及び受信装置管理部342をこの在庫管理システムと連携させ、在庫管理システム側でカプセル型内視鏡10の在庫数や受信装置の保有数を把握するようにしても良い。この場合、制御装置34を起動させることなくカプセル型内視鏡10の在庫数等をチェックすることができる。また、カプセル型内視鏡10の在庫数が所定の数を下回った際には、発注システムから自動発注がなされるようにしても良い。さらに、カプセル在庫管理情報及び受信装置管理情報の基礎情報を、カプセル型内視鏡10及び受信装置25の発注時又は納品時に上記在庫管理システムから直接読み込むようにすれば、医療従事者が直接基礎情報を入力する手間を省くことができる。

Claims (18)
- 被検体に導入されて該被検体の体内を撮像するカプセル型内視鏡から無線送信された情報を受信する受信装置であって、
当該受信装置に対する情報の入力を受け付ける操作入力部と、
前記カプセル型内視鏡を用いた検査に関する情報を表示する表示部と、
当該受信装置の動作を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記検査における一連の処理の流れを制御する検査フロー管理部と、
前記検査の進捗に応じて、当該受信装置の操作モードを、第1の操作モードと該第1の操作モードとは異なる第2の操作モードとの間で切り替える操作モード設定部と、
を含み、前記操作モード設定部により設定された操作モードごとに、前記検査の進捗に応じて当該受信装置の動作を制御することを特徴とする受信装置。 - 前記検査フロー管理部は、前記一連の処理の各々と前記第1又は第2の操作モードとを関連づけた検査フロー情報に基づいて前記一連の処理の流れを制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。
- 前記第1の操作モードは、医療従事者用の操作モードであり、
前記制御部は、当該受信装置が前記第1の操作モードに設定されている場合に、医療従事者が実行又は確認すべき処理に関する情報を前記表示部に表示させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - 前記検査フロー管理部は、当該受信装置が前記第1の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記操作入力部によって前記検査の進捗に応じた操作入力がなされたとき、該操作入力に対応する処理への移行を許可することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の受信装置。
- 前記第1の操作モードは、医療従事者用の操作モードであり、
前記操作モード設定部は、当該受信装置が前記第1の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記検査の進捗に応じて、当該受信装置の操作モードを前記第2の操作モードに切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - 前記第2の操作モードは、患者用の操作モードであり、
前記制御部は、当該受信装置が前記第2の操作モードに設定されている場合に、予め許可された操作入力以外の操作入力が前記操作入力部によってなされたとき、該操作入力を無効にすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - 前記第2の操作モードは、患者用の操作モードであり、
前記制御部は、当該受信装置が前記第2の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記検査の進捗に応じて、患者に対する指示情報を前記表示部に表示させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - 前記第2の操作モードは、患者用の操作モードであり、
前記操作モード設定部は、当該受信装置が前記第2の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記操作入力部によって所定の操作入力がなされたとき、当該受信装置の操作モードを前記第1の操作モードに切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の受信装置。 - カプセル型内視鏡と、
請求項1に記載の受信装置と、
前記受信装置との間で有線又は無線通信により情報を送受信する制御装置と、
を備えることを特徴とするカプセル型内視鏡システム。 - 被検体に導入されて該被検体の体内を撮像するカプセル型内視鏡と、
前記カプセル型内視鏡から無線送信された情報を受信する受信装置と、
前記受信装置との間で有線又は無線通信により情報を送受信する制御装置と、
を備え、
前記受信装置は、
当該受信装置に対する情報の入力を受け付ける操作入力部と、
前記カプセル型内視鏡を用いた検査に関する情報を表示する表示部と、
当該受信装置の動作を制御する第1の制御部と、
を有し、
前記制御装置は、
前記カプセル型内視鏡を用いた検査における一連の処理の流れを制御する検査フロー管理部と、
前記検査の進捗に応じた制御情報を生成して前記受信装置に送信させる第2の制御部と、
を有し、
前記第1の制御部は、
前記制御情報に基づいて、当該受信装置の操作モードを、第1の操作モードと該第1の操作モードとは異なる第2の操作モードとの間で切り替える操作モード設定部を含み、
前記操作モード設定部により設定された操作モードごとに、前記制御情報に従って当該受信装置の動作を制御することを特徴とするカプセル型内視鏡システム。 - 前記第1の制御部は、前記受信装置における前記検査の進捗に関する情報を、当該受信装置から前記制御装置に送信させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。
- 前記検査フロー管理部は、前記一連の処理の各々と前記第1又は第2の操作モードとを関連づけた検査フロー情報に基づいて前記一連の処理の流れを制御することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。
- 前記第1の操作モードは、医療従事者用の操作モードであり、
前記第1の制御部は、前記受信装置が前記第1の操作モードに設定されている場合に、医療従事者が実行又は確認すべき処理に関する情報を前記表示部に表示させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。 - 前記第1の制御部は、前記受信装置が前記第1の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記操作入力部によって前記検査の進捗に応じた操作入力がなされたとき、該操作入力に対応する処理への移行を許可することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。
- 前記第1の操作モードは、医療従事者用の操作モードであり、
前記操作モード設定部は、前記受信装置が前記第1の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記検査の進捗に応じて、前記第2の操作モードに切り替えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。 - 前記第2の操作モードは、患者用の操作モードであり、
前記第1の制御部は、前記受信装置が前記第2の操作モードに設定されている場合に、予め設定された操作入力以外の操作入力が前記操作入力部によってなされたとき、該操作入力を無効とすることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。 - 前記第2の操作モードは、患者用の操作モードであり、
前記第1の制御部は、前記受信装置が前記第2の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記検査の進捗に応じて、患者に対する指示情報を前記表示部に表示させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。 - 前記第2の操作モードは、患者用の操作モードであり、
前記操作モード設定部は、前記受信装置が前記第2の操作モードに設定されている場合に、前記操作入力部によって所定の操作入力がなされたとき、又は前記受信装置が所定の制御情報を受信したときに、当該受信装置の操作モードを前記第1の操作モードに切り替えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカプセル型内視鏡システム。
