- the guidance content data is image data that is the basis of the screen to be displayed on the indicators 27L and 27R in the guidance display in the vehicle. For example, in the case of performing destination guidance display having the configuration shown in FIG. This is image data of a portion to be fixedly displayed other than a character (text) display portion.
- the column number data, the guidance display control data, and the guidance content data are collected for each route to form one data set and managed as guidance display data.
- the guidance display data includes a plurality of data sets corresponding to the respective routes.
- step S11 verification work of the created data is performed as necessary.
- the information delivery server 12 creates the newly created guidance display data (hereinafter, new guidance display data). Is delivered to the on-board system 20 of each train at a predetermined timing (step S12).
- the information distribution server 12 provides a radio signal for notifying the on-board system 20 that the new guidance display data is held in the information transmission / reception apparatus 13 installed at a station, a vehicle base, or the like.
- the train on-board system 20 that has received this signal returns a response signal including management information that uniquely indicates the train, such as the train management number of the train.
- the on-board system 20 grasps the on-board system 20 to which the new guidance display data has been distributed from the management information (train management number, etc.), and transfers to the on-board system 20 corresponding to the management information included in the response signal. If the distribution of the new guidance display data is not completed, the new guidance display data is distributed to the on-board system 20.
- the management information notified from the on-board system 20 is registered in a table, and the fact that the distribution of the new guidance display data to the on-board system 20 is completed is stored.
- the distribution of the new guidance display data to the on-board system 20 corresponding to the management information included in the response signal has been completed, the distribution has already been performed to the on-board system 20 that has transmitted the response signal. Notify that.
- Information such as the creation date / time or management version is included in the guide display data, and the information distribution server 12 sends the creation date / time or version etc. of the new guidance display data via the information transmitting / receiving device 13 to the train. May be notified.
- the on-board system 20 of the train it is possible to recognize whether or not data (newly created guide display data) different from the stored guide display data exists on the ground system 10 side. It becomes. As a result, it is only necessary to make a response to receive data distribution only when necessary, so that it is possible to prevent communication traffic from increasing more than necessary.
- the information distribution server 12 selects and distributes only a part of the data sets instead of distributing all the data sets of the held new guidance display data. You may do it. For example, in the response for the on-board system 20 of the train to receive data distribution, information on the traveling route (information that can identify the traveling route on the ground system 10 side) is notified, and the information distribution server 12 May deliver the data set corresponding to the route being traveled, or the data set corresponding to the route being traveled and the route in the vicinity thereof. Thereby, the memory capacity required on the on-board system 20 side can be kept low.
- the information distribution server 12 notifies the ground system 10 side of the memory capacity (or the free capacity of the memory) provided in the on-vehicle system. May select a data set to be distributed in consideration of the notified memory capacity (or the free memory capacity) in addition to the notified route. For example, when the memory capacity is small, only the minimum necessary data set (data set corresponding to the traveling route) is distributed. Thereby, even if the memory capacity in each on-vehicle system 20 is different, the guidance display data can be distributed flexibly and reliably corresponding to the memory capacity. In addition, increase in communication traffic can be prevented.
- the new guidance display data distributed in step S12 is stored in the central distribution server 21 in the on-board system 20 (step S13).
- the central distribution server 21 analyzes the new guidance display data to check the validity period, monitors whether it is within the validity period (step S14), and if it is within the validity period (step S14: Yes). ),
- the use of the new guide display data is started, and the guide display data (old guide display data) used so far is deleted (discarded) (step S15).
- the old data set corresponding to each data set included in the new guide display data (old guide display) Delete the data set of the same route as each data set included in the new guidance display data).
- the old guidance display data may not be deleted when the use of the new guidance display data is started, but may be deleted when it is outside the valid period (end date and time of the valid period). . In this way, the old guidance display data is retained until the new guidance display data is valid, so if the diamond revision date and time is set to the start date and time of the new guidance display data, the guidance display will be displayed. The data can be exchanged smoothly according to the diamond revision. In addition, after starting to use the new guidance display data, the old guidance display data used until then is deleted, so that unnecessary data can be prevented from remaining in the memory for a long period of time.
- the information on the effective period is included in the guidance display data, and the start date / time and end date / time of the effective period (data use start date / time and use end date / time) are clear.
- the guidance display data only needs to include information on either the start date / time or the end date / time of the effective period.
- the end date and time of the effective period is included, in the above step S14, it is monitored whether or not the effective period of the old guidance display data has ended, and the new guide display is displayed when the effective period ends. The use of the business data is started and the old guidance display data is deleted.
- the old guidance display data is deleted after the new guidance display data is within the valid period, as in step S14.
- the correct guide display data with the corrected error is displayed. Even if it is redistributed, the erroneous guide display data is deleted after the valid guide display data is valid, so unnecessary data (incorrect guide display data) is stored in memory until the end of the valid period. Can be avoided.
- the guidance display data is created and distributed to each on-vehicle system according to the above procedure.
- FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing an example of an operation of delivering guidance display data to the display terminal device 26 in each vehicle in the on-board system 20. is there. Distribution of the guidance display data in the on-board system 20 is executed when a train number is set by a crew member such as a driver when starting operation (operation) of the train.
- the train number setting device 28 acquires the train number of the own train from the outside (step S21).
- the acquired train number is notified to the central distribution server 21.
- the central distribution server 21 that has received the notification of the train number confirms whether or not the data set corresponding to the train number that has received the notification is held (step S22). Specifically, the column number data (see FIG. 6) included in the data set is confirmed, and if the notified train number is included in the column number data, the corresponding data set is held. If not, it is determined that the corresponding data set is not held.
- step S24 the data set corresponding to the train number is extracted and distributed to the display terminal device 26 of each vehicle.
- step S24 when holding a plurality of data sets corresponding to the train number, that is, when holding two or more data sets having different effective periods, a data set within the effective period is selected and each vehicle is selected. Delivered to the display terminal device 26.
- a data set is created for each route.
- step S24 a plurality of data sets within the valid period (each data set includes the same train number) may be extracted and distributed.
- the central distribution server 21 communicates with the information distribution server 12 of the ground system 10 via the information transmission / reception device 25, and receives the notification.
- the number train number acquired by the train number setting device 28
- the corresponding data set (guidance display data) is acquired (step S23).
- the central distribution server 21 By such an operation, for example, when the memory capacity of the central distribution server 21 is limited and it is impossible to receive and hold all of the guidance display data created on the ground system 10 side, or it has been distributed Even when the amount of guidance display data is larger than the free space of the memory and only a part of the received guidance display data can be held, the on-board system 20 is necessary at a necessary timing. Data can be acquired from the ground system 10, and guidance display can be performed.
- the central distribution server 21 may be unnecessary depending on, for example, the traveling state of the train. The necessary data sets may be deleted from the information distribution server 12 in the subsequent guidance display.
- the timing for deleting a data set corresponds to a certain data set when, for example, the data set is configured for a certain section of a certain route (a plurality of types of data sets for each section exists for one route). The time when this data set is no longer needed, for example, when the travel of the section to be completed is completed.
- the acquired data set is distributed to the display terminal device 26 of each vehicle (step S24).
- the display terminal device 26 of each vehicle that has received the distribution of the data set used for the guidance display from the central distribution server 21 stores the received information in the storage device 29, and starts the guidance display according to the train operation status ( Step S25). For example, based on a data set stored in the storage device 29, a destination guidance display (see FIG. 8) corresponding to the type of train, traveling position, and the like is performed.
- the content of this guidance display is changed as appropriate according to the train operation state. For example, when approaching the next stop station, the transfer guide display at the stop station is performed, and when the station arrives, the arrival station guide display is performed. In addition, after departure, information about the next stop is displayed.
- the display terminal device 26 can grasp the train operation state based on the train operation information that can be acquired from the train information terminal device 23 via the transmission device 24.
- the guidance display data includes only data for performing destination guidance display has been described.
- guidance display data other than the destination guidance may be included. Good.
- the guidance display data including the validity period information is created and distributed from the ground system to the on-board system, and the on-board system receives the distribution.
- Guidance display data new guidance display data
- the central distribution server that performs centralized management of guide display data within the train is specified from the managed guide display data.
- the data required for the guidance display when operating as a train with the same train number is extracted and distributed to the display terminal device that performs guidance display control in each vehicle.
- the work is made more efficient, and it is possible to reduce the time required to update the guidance display data and reduce the work load on the operator.
- the central distribution server does not hold the necessary data in the guidance display when operating as a train with the specified train number, the central distribution server acquires the necessary data by performing wireless communication with the information distribution server on the ground system side Therefore, guidance display can be performed when traveling on any route in the railway system, and flexible operation of the train can be realized.
- the in-vehicle guidance display system is useful for realizing a railway system that operates a train that performs guidance display such as destination guidance for passengers.
