Abstract

本発明は、透過型でも使用が可能であり、高いコントラスト比を可能とする高品質な鏡面状態を有する調光素子及びそれを含む製品を提供することを目的とする。。 本発明に係る調光素子は、一対の基板(2,3)と、一対の基板(2,3)の対向する面に形成され、一方がナノオーダーの凹凸のある透明電極(31)である一対の電極(21,31)と、一対の電極(21,31)の間に挟持され、電解質、銀を含むエレクトロクロミック材料及びメディエータを含む電解質層(4)と、を有することを特徴とする。また本発明に係る装置は、上記調光素子を少なくとも一部に含む。
