Description

体重管理装置
 この発明は、体重管理装置に関し、特に、日内変動する被測定者の体重に基づく食事のアドバイスを提示する体重管理装置に関する。
 従来、被測定者は、体重計で体重を測定することで、体重が増加しているか減少しているかを確認しつつ、体重を管理する。
 体重を他者に総合的に管理してもらうシステムが特許文献1(特開2009-289096号公報)に示される。このシステムでは、対象者が測定した体重の変化を基に、カウンセラーの知識と経験から体重管理に関するアドバイスのメールを当該対象者に送信する。

 近年の健康志向から、減量などの体重管理を順調に進めるために、毎日、体重の日内変動を考慮した体重管理のアドバスの提供が求められている。しかしながら、特許文献1(特開2009-289096号公報)では、対象者は測定体重を設定された日数分以上記録して、記録したデータをカウンセラーに送信し、カウンセラーはこれを分析してアドバイスを返信するものであるため、当該要求に応えることはできなかった。
 それゆえに、この発明の目的は、体重の日内変動を考慮しながら目標値となるような食事の情報を出力する体重管理装置を提供することである。
 この発明に係る体重管理装置は、被測定者の体重測定値と、測定日時とが関連付けされた測定データを取得するための体重取得部と、測定データに基づく就寝中の体重の変動量を用いて、目標日内変動量を算出する増減量算出部と、目標日内変動量に基づいて、被測定者の起床から就寝までのうち起床側の第1タイミングで測定した起床側体重値に対して就寝側の第2タイミングで就寝側体重値を測定する際の目標値を算出する目標取得部と、食事前の第3タイミングで測定した食事前体重値と、しきい値との比較の結果に基づき、目標値を達成するための食事に関するアドバイス情報を取得するアドバイス取得部と、取得されるアドバイス情報を出力する出力部と、を備える。
 本発明によれば、体重の日内変動を考慮しながら目標値となるように食事の情報を提供することができる。

 以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図を参照して詳細に説明する。なお、以下に示す実施の形態においては同一または対応する部分に図中同一の符号を付し、その説明は繰返さない。
 まず、用語を定義する。本実施の形態では体重測定に関する「朝時間」は、たとえば午前4時~正午(昼の12時)の時間帯を指し、「晩時間」は、たとえば午後7時~午前2時の時間帯を指す。「朝体重」は、朝時間に測定される体重を指し、「晩体重」は晩時間に測定される体重を指す。
 本実施の形態では、「就寝時間」は晩体重が測定される時間を指し、「起床時間」は朝体重が測定される時間を指す。本実施の形態では、1日に複数回の体重測定がされるが、少なくとも日内の起床側のあるタイミングで体重測定がされ、就寝側のあるタイミングで体重測定がされ、これ以外の食事前のタイミングで体重測定がされるとする。説明を簡単にするために、就寝するために床に入る直前に体重(晩体重)が測定され、起床の直後に体重(朝体重)が測定され、夕食前に体重測定がされると想定する。なお、「日内」とは、被測定者の起床時間から就寝時間までの一日を指す。
 「夜間減少体重」とは、就寝時間から起床時間までの間における発汗などの主に基礎代謝によって減少する体重を指す。「日内目標増減量」とは、日内の目標とするべき体重の増減量を指す。「目標日内変化量」とは、「夜間減少体重」と「日内目標増減量」からなる体重の変化量を指す。
 「夕食前時間」とは、晩体重を測定する前に摂る食事すなわち夕食前の時間を指す。「夕食前体重」は、夕食前時間に測定される体重を指す。
 本実施の形態では、体重管理装置として、体重だけでなく生体インピーダンスを測定することにより体脂肪率などの体組成情報も取得することができる体重体組成計を例示するが、単に体重のみを測定する機能を有した装置であってもよい。
 図1には、体重体組成計3の外観が示されて、図2には体重管理システム1の構成が示される。
 図2の体重管理システム1は、体重体組成計3と、体重体組成計3および外部のカメラ部6と無線または有線で通信するサーバ(サーバコンピュータ)5を備える。図2では、説明を簡単にするために、サーバ5には1台の体重体組成計3が接続されるとしているが、複数台の体重体組成計3が接続されてもよい。なお、体重体組成計3およびカメラ部6とサーバ5との間でのデータの授受は通信によらず、記憶媒体を介して授受するようにしてもよい。
 図1を参照して、体重体組成計3は、被測定者が手で持つ第1の匿体である表示操作部10、被測定者が乗る第2の筐体である体重測定部30とを備える。
 表示操作部10は、図2に示すように通信部11、記憶部12、計時部13、操作部14、表示部15、定電流回路部16、電源部17、CPU(Central Processing Unit)181を有する制御部18、二重積分AD(Analog/Digital)部19、インピーダンス検知部20、電極部21および音声出力部22を含む。
 通信部11は、制御部18に接続されており、該制御部18からの制御信号に従ってサーバ5と通信する。なお、通信部11は、サーバ5に限らず、歩数計などの他の生体情報取得装置と通信する、あるいはパーソナルコンピュータや携帯情報端末(PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)、携帯電話機など)と通信するなど、適宜の装置と通信するとしてもよい。
 記憶部12は、不揮発性のメモリやハードディスクなどの情報を記憶できる装置を含む。記憶部12は、接続された制御部18から制御信号に従って情報の読出しと書込みがされる。
 計時部13は、現在日時を計時するタイマ・カウンタから構成される装置であり、必要に応じて計時した時間を制御部18へ出力する。
 操作部14は、押下などの操作がされる複数のボタン・スイッチなど(図1参照)を含む。被測定者は操作部14を操作することにより、ID、性別、年齢、身長、体重などの被測定者の個人情報・身体情報を入力することができる。入力されたこれら情報は、制御部18へ出力される。
 表示部15は、液晶画面(図1参照)などの表示装置によって構成され、制御部18から与えられる画像信号に従って文字や図形などの画像を表示する。
 定電流回路部16は、制御部18の制御に基づいて、電源部17から供給される高周波(交流)電流を電流印加用の電極部21に一方向に流す。電源部17は、制御部18を含む各部に動作電力を供給する。
 制御部18は、CPU181、および図示のないROM(Read Only Memory)とRAM(Random Access Memory)を含むマイクロコンピュータにより構成されており、ROM等に記憶されているプログラムおよび各種データに従って各部の制御動作や演算動作を実行する。このプログラムおよびデータには、体重管理のためのプログラムおよびデータが含まれる。
 二重積分AD部19は、二重積分型のAD変換部である。動作においては、インピーダンス検知部20から出力されるアナログ信号(電圧信号)をデジタル信号に変換して制御部18に出力する。
 インピーダンス検知部20は、体重測定部30に設けられている電極部36と表示操作部10に設けられている電極部21との電位差に基づいて、被測定者の生体インピーダンスを検出する。
 電極部21は、被測定者が手で持つ表示操作部10のグリップ部分(図1参照)の表面に設けられる。電極部21は、グリップ部分を握っている被測定者の手のひらへ電源部17から供給される高周波(交流)電流を印加する。
 体重測定部30は、操作部31、電池32、荷重検知部33、および電極部36を含む。操作部31は、電源のON/OFFを切り替えるために操作される入力スイッチとして機能し、操作部31は操作されると操作に応じた入力信号を制御部18に出力する。
 電池32は、電源部17を中心に各部へ電力を供給する。
 荷重検知部33は、複数のロードセル34を内蔵する。筐体の上面カバーを兼ね備える上面カバー部35(図1参照)の上に乗った被測定者の体重を測定する。測定された体重は、二重積分AD部19に出力される。
 電極部36は、被測定者が乗る体重測定部30の上面部分(図1参照)の表面に設けられており、被測定者の足裏から流れてくる電流を検出する電流測定用の電極である。電極部36は、被測定者の左足指側、左足踵側、右足指側、右足踵側に接触する4つの電極を含む。
 荷重検知部33のロードセル34のそれぞれは、体重測定部30の上面部分にかかる荷重を測定可能なように、ここでは、電極部36の各電極の下部に配置される。したがって、上面部分に被測定者が乗った場合に、生体インピーダンスと体重の両方を測定することができる。
 体重測定において、各ロードセル34には、被測定者の体重による荷重がかかる。各ロードセル34は、かけられる荷重に応じて変形する金属部材からなる歪体と、歪体に張られた歪ゲージとからなる。歪体が歪むと、歪ゲージが伸縮して歪ゲージの伸縮に応じて抵抗値が変化し、その抵抗変化は荷重信号出力として取得される。したがって、被測定者が上面部分に乗って、両足が各ロードセル34にかかった場合、ロードセル34にかけられる被測定者の体重により歪体が歪むと、上述の荷重信号出力の変化として体重が測定される。
 なお、荷重を検出するための荷重センサとして、本実施の形態では、ロードセル34を利用しているが、上面部へ加えられた力の量が検出できるものであれば、たとえば、ばねやピエゾフィルムを利用したセンサや、圧縮素子、変位センサなどであってもよい。
 サーバ5は、現在時間を計時するタイマ50、体重体組成計3と通信するための通信部51、CPU521、ROM、RAMを有するコンピュータからなる制御部52、操作部53、表示部54、記憶部55およびカメラ部6と通信するためのカメラI/F(Interface)56を含む。ここでは、タイマ50と計時部13とは同期した計時動作を行なうように調整されると想定する。
 通信部51は、制御部52の制御に従って体重体組成計3とデータを送受信する。制御部52のCPU521は、ROMなどに記憶されているプログラムおよびデータに従って各部の動作を制御するとともに、各種の演算を実行する。
 操作部53は、キーボードやマウスなどを含む。オペレータにより操作されることにより入力された信号は、制御部52に出力される。
 表示部54は、液晶ディスプレイやCRT(Cathode Ray Tube)ディスプレイなどに相当する。表示部54は、制御部52から与えられる制御信号に従って絵・文字などの画像を表示する。
 記憶部55は、ハードディスクなどの固定の記憶装置、またはフレキシブルディスク、CD-ROM(Compact Disk Read Only Memory)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、RAM(Random Access Memory)およびメモリカードなどのCPU521のコンピュータが読取り可能な記録媒体に相当する。
 記憶部55は、体重体組成計3で測定したデータ(体組成情報、体重データ、測定日時データなど)、被測定者の氏名(ID)や住所といった個人情報など、被測定者に関する種々のデータ、ならびに後述するレコード551が記憶される。
 図3を参照して、体重体組成計3の体重管理に係る機能構成について説明する。CPU181は、目標取得部182、演算部183、目標達成度を評価する評価部184、体重管理に関するアドバイスを取得するアドバイス取得部185、および測定結果およびアドバイスを表示または音声で出力するための出力処理部186を含む。これらの各部は、CPU181によって実行されるプログラムにより実現される。このプログラムは、制御部18の図示のないROMに予め格納されている。CPU181は、ROMからプログラムを読出し、読出したプログラムの命令を実行することにより、各部の機能が実現される。
 目標取得部182は、就寝中の体重値の変化量である夜間減少体重と、体重値の日内目標増減量とを含む体重値の目標日内変化量を取得する。目標取得部182は、増減量算出部188を含む。目標取得部182は、目標日内変化量に基づき、被測定者の起床から就寝までのうちの起床側の第1タイミング(朝時間)で測定した起床側体重値に対して、就寝側の第2タイミング(晩時間)で就寝側体重値を測定する際に、その目標となるべき日内目標値(以下、目標晩体重という)を算出する。増減量算出部188は、後述の日内目標増減量を算出する。
 アドバイス取得部185は、目標達成判定部189を有する。目標達成判定部189は、測定体重の変化量を算出する変化量算出部190を含む。
 (記憶データ)
 図4を参照して、記憶部12に格納される各種データを説明する。体重測定部30により測定される体重はレコード40を用いて管理される。記憶部12は、レコード40を、複数週間分または複数月分を記憶可能な容量を有する。
 レコード40には、実際に測定された体重値を指すデータ401、各データ401に対応付けて計時部13の計時データに基づいた体重測定の日時を指すデータ403、およびフラグ404が格納される。さらに当該レコード40のデータ401の体重に基づき算出される体重変化量のデータ405A,405Bおよび405C、ならびに目標達成度の評価結果を指す達成評価のデータ406が対応付けて格納される。
 フラグ404は、対応のデータ401が指す体重が、朝体重、晩体重、および食事前体重のいずれであるかを指すフラグを含む。具体的には、図中、お日様マークは朝体重のフラグを指し、スプーンマークは食事前体重のフラグを指し、お月様マークは晩体重のフラグを指す。
 図4の(B)に示す標準日内変動量データ41は、被測定者の標準的な日内変化量を指す。この標準日内変化量は、演算部183により過去の測定データを格納するレコード40(1週間分あるいは2週間分)を基に算出する。この算出は、次のように算出すると良い。
 すなわち、晩体重から翌日の朝体重を減算することで、就寝中に変動した体重を示す夜間減少体重を算出し、この夜間減少体重を複数日分算出してその平均値を算出し、該平均値を標準日内変化量とすることができる。
 なお、標準日内変化量を算出する他の方法として、演算部183は、インピーダンス検知部20で検出する被測定者の生体インピーダンスから求めた基礎代謝量(Kcal)を利用することができる。なお、基礎代謝量の算出方法は公知の手順に従う。一般に、脂肪1gを消費するには9Kcal(ただし、人の脂肪は20%は水分を含むため、おおよそ7Kcal)が必要とされ、炭水化物1gを消費するには4Kcal、たんぱく質1gを消費するには4Kcal必要とされることから、演算部183は、こられらの消費Kcalと、算出された基礎代謝量と、睡眠時間(就寝時間~起床時間までのトータル時間)から、夜間体重減少量を算出することができる。この夜間減少体重を複数日分算出してその平均値を算出し、該平均値を標準日内変化量とすることができる。
 なお、標準日内変化量を、被測定者毎に算出するものに限定されず、予め定められた一般人の日内変化量の固定値に設定しておくこともできる。
 図4の(C)には目標設定日データ42が示される。目標設定日データ42は、被測定者が体重体組成計3を用いてダイエットなどの体重管理を開始した日付けであって、被測定者が操作部14を操作して入力した日付けを指す。
 図4の(D)に示す長期目標増減量データ43は、被測定者が操作部14を操作することにより入力した体重増減量の目標値を指す。たとえば、減量したい場合であればマイナス値が入力され、体重維持したい場合であれば0が入力され、体重を増量したい場合であればプラス値が入力される。なお、増減量でなく、目標の体重値であってもよい。
 図4の(E)に示す目標達成期間データ44は、被測定者が操作部14を操作することにより設定した目標達成期間を指す。目標達成期間は、長期目標増減量の達成をどれくらいの期間で実現したいかを示す期間である。
 この目標達成期間が入力設定されるとき、目標取得部182は、長期目標増減量を目標達成期間の日数で除算した一日のノルマとなる日内増減量が所定範囲内に収まるか否か適正判定を実行する。そして、適正判定で所定範囲外と判定した場合、表示部15にエラー表示する。そして、所定範囲内と判定されるまで被測定者に対して目標達成期間の再入力を促す。これにより、体に負担のかかる無理なダイエットなどを抑制することができる。
 体重の変動に関して、発明者の実験によれば、健康な成人であれば、1ヶ月間の減量(または増量)は、現在体重の所定範囲内の増減率、すなわち2%~10%の量に留めることが健康を害さない量であるとの知見を得た。したがって、本実施の形態では、1ヶ月間の減量(または増量)が、現在体重の2%~10%の量となるように決定される。
 図4の(F)に示す日内目標増減量データ45は、増減量算出部188が長期目標増減量を目標達成期間で除算することにより算出した値が設定される。この日内目標増減量データ45により、目標どおりに体重の増減が進んでいるか否かを1日単位で確認することや、その日の目標晩体重を算出することができる。
 図4の(G)に示すアドバイスのデータ46は、アドバイス取得部185によって参照(読出)される。ここでは、アドバイスのデータ46に示す各アドバイスは、予め編集された記憶部12に格納されると想定するが、アドバイス取得部185が、編集するようにしてもよい。
 (目標晩体重の算出手順)
 ここで、図5を参照して、ダイエット(体重減量)目的の体重管理をする場合における、目標晩体重の算出方法について説明する。
 図5の(A)に示すように、一般に被測定者の朝体重と晩体重は日内で変動する。図5の(A)に示す日内変動に着目すると、図5の(B)に示すように、朝体重は起床時の測定体重であるので日内の最低体重とみなすことができることから、図5の(B)に示すように、その日の朝体重と翌日の朝体重の差分を調整するべき量、すなわち1日の減量目標として決定することができる。したがって、その日の目標晩体重は、その日の朝体重に1日の減量目標を加算することによって算出することができる。
 本実施の形態では、この1日の減量目標を目標日内変化量とし、この目標日内変化量を、データ41の標準日内変化量(「夜間減少体重」の平均)とデータ45の「日内目標増減量」とを加算することにより算出する。
 (処理手順)
 図6と図7は、体重体組成計3の制御部18のCPU181が実行する動作を示すフローチャートである。ここで、本実施の形態に係る体重管理を実行するための処理を、これらのフローチャートに従って説明する。これらフローチャートは、予めプログラムとして制御部18内のメモリまたは記憶部12に格納されており、CPU181がプログラムを読出し、その命令を実行することにより処理が実現される。
 なお、記憶部12には、図4に示したデータ41~データ46が予め格納されていると想定する。また、記憶部12には、目標設定日データ42が指す日付けから、たとえば5日分のレコード40が格納されていると想定する。したがって、ここでは6日目の体重測定を想定して説明する。また、被測定者は、毎日、朝時間、夕食前時間および晩時間のそれぞれにおいて、体重を測定すると想定する。
 図6を参照して、CPU181は、被測定者による操作部14の操作による電源ONの指示を入力して起動し(ステップS1)、上面カバー部35(図1参照)に乗った被測定者の体重を荷重検知部33により測定する(ステップS2)。このとき、CPU181は、体重測定部30の電極部36と表示操作部10の電極部21を通じて、インピーダンス検知部20(図2参照)によって検知される生体インピーダンスに基づき体組成情報を算出することができる。
 その後、CPU181は、記憶・分析処理を実行し(ステップS3)、電源をOFFして(ステップS4)、処理を終了する。
 (記憶・分析処理)
 図7は、記憶・分析処理(図6のステップS3参照)のフローチャートである。図7を参照してCPU181は、前述のステップS2で体重測定した日時である現在日時のデータを計時部13から取得し、現在日時が朝時間、晩時間および夕食前時間のいずれに該当するかを判定する(ステップS21)。朝時間および晩時間のデータは予め制御部18内のメモリに格納されていると想定する。メモリから読出した朝時間および晩時間のデータと、現在日時のデータとを比較することにより、判定することができる。
 朝時間と判定されると(ステップS21で“朝”)、CPU181は、ステップS23で測定した体重を朝体重として格納するレコード40を生成し、生成したレコード40を記憶部12に格納する。このレコード40は、測定した朝体重を指すデータ401、現在日時を指すデータ403および“朝”を指すフラグ404を含む。
 レコード40が格納されると、目標取得部182は図5で説明した手順に従って目標晩体重を算出し、記憶部102に格納する(ステップS24)。
 出力処理部186は、算出した目標晩体重と、ステップS2で測定した朝体重との表示項目を含む画面を、表示部15に表示する(ステップS25)。表示画面の一例が、図9の(A),(D)に示される。これらの画面には、表示項目として、さらに、両体重の差分を算出して同時に表示するようにしてもよく、その場合には、被測定者は目標達成の目安を把握し易くなる。
 次に、変化量算出部190により夜間変化量を算出し、算出された夜間変化量のデータ405Cを朝体重と対応付けてレコード40に格納する(ステップS26)。夜間変化量405Cは、(今朝の朝体重-前日の晩体重)の演算により算出される。その後、処理は図6のステップS4に戻る。
 ステップS21で晩時間と判定された場合(ステップS21で“晩”)、CPU181は、ステップS2で取得した測定体重を晩体重としてレコード40に格納する(ステップS27)。具体的には、レコード40には、測定した晩体重を指すデータ401、現在日時を指すデータ403および“晩”を指すフラグ404が格納される。
 晩体重が格納されると、評価部184は、記憶部12のレコード40に基づき、目標の達成度を評価し、評価結果を当該レコード40にデータ406として格納する(ステップS28)。具体的には、評価部184は、測定された晩体重から、本日、ステップS24で算出された目標晩体重を引いた値を算出し、算出値が0または負を指すと判定すると目標達成と評価し、0より大きい値を指すと判定すると目標未達成と評価する。そして、目標達成と評価したときは、レコード40にデータ406として“OK”を格納し、目標未達成と評価したときは“NG”を格納する。
 出力処理部186は、上述の評価結果を含む画面を表示部15に表示する(ステップS29)。表示画面の一例が、図9の(C),(F)に示される。これらの画面は、表示項目として、測定された晩体重と、上述の算出値と、評価結果を含む。この例では、(晩体重-目標晩体重)の算出値は0以下(-0.2kg)であるから評価結果として“達成”の文字が表示される。なお、目標晩体重を同時に表示してもよく、または算出値に代替して表示してもよい。評価結果は、音声で出力してもよい。算出値が0より大きい正の値であり目標達成していない場合には、“達成”の文字に代替して“未達成”の文字が表示され、また音声出力される。
 ここでは、評価は(晩体重-目標晩体重)の算出値と値0との比較であったが、評価のための判定値は0に限定されない。
 次に、変化量算出部190は夕食変化量405Bと日中変化量405Aを算出し、算出された夕食変化量405Bと日中変化量405Aをレコード40に格納する(ステップS30)。夕食変化量405Bは、(晩体重-夕食前体重)の演算により算出され、日中変化量405Aは、(晩体重-朝体重)の演算により算出される。その後、処理は図6のステップS4に戻る。
 ステップS21に戻り、朝時間および晩時間のいずれにも該当しない、すなわち“夕食前”と判定されると(ステップS21で“夕食前”)、CPU181は、ステップS2で取得した測定体重を夕食前体重としてレコード40に格納する(ステップS31)。具体的には、レコード40に、測定した体重を指すデータ401、現在日時を指すデータ403および“夕食前”を指すフラグ404を対応付けて格納する。
 目標達成判定部189は、目標達成の有無を判定する(ステップS33)。つまり、(夕食前体重-目標晩体重)に従う演算をし、その算出値が0以下であると、現在体重が目標晩体重を超えていないことから目標の“達成”と判定し(ステップ34で“達成”)、アドバイス取得部185は判定結果に基づき、データ46を検索し“達成”のアドバイスを取得する(ステップ35)。また、その算出値が0より大きいと、既に目標晩体重を超えていることから目標の“未達成”(オーバ)と判定し(ステップ34で“未達成”)、アドバイス取得部185は判定結果に基づき、データ46を検索し“未達成”のアドバイスを取得する(ステップ36)。取得されたアドバイスは、出力処理部186により表示部15に表示される(ステップS38,ステップS39)。表示画面の一例として“達成”の画面が図9の(B)に示され、“未達成”の画面が図9の(E)に示される。画面表示後は、図6のステップS4の処理に移行する。
 図9の(B)では、“達成”の表示とともに、“いつもの夕食量が適量であることと、食べ過ぎに注意するように”とのアドバイス91がデータ46から読出されて音声で出力される。図9の(E)では、体重が目標を“オーバ”しているとのメッセージ表示とともに、“夕食量は控えめにするように”と促すアドバイス92がデータ46から読出されて音声で出力される。アドバイス91,92は音声に限らず表示部15に表示されてもよい。
 (目標達成の他の判定方法)
 目標達成判定部189による判定(ステップS33)の他の方法について説明する。上述の処理では、当該判定のためのしきい値として目標晩体重を用いたが、これに限定されず、目標晩体重から導出(算出)されるしきい値を用いてよい。
 本実施の形態では、毎日1個のレコード40が生成されて、当該レコード40にその日の朝,夕食前および晩に測定された体重が格納される。説明のために、図8の(A)に、図4の(A)の各レコード40に基づく測定体重の時系列の変化を示し、図8の(B)に、測定日毎に夕食変化量を棒グラフで示し、そして図8の(C)に、測定日毎に夜間変化量を棒グラフで示す。
 目標達成判定部189は、目標達成を判定するためのしきい値として、記憶部12の過去の一定期間のレコード40の夕食変化量405Bに基づく夕食変化量を用いて導出する。具体的には、夕食変化量の代表値を用いる。ここでは、代表値として平均値を算出するが、平均値に限定されず最頻値でもよく、または中央値でもよい。なお、しきい値の算出には、被測定者独自の夕食変化量に代替して、実験により予め取得した一般的な夕食変化量の値を用いても良い。
 目標達成判定部189は、(目標晩体重-平均夕食変化量)の算出結果に基づき、判定のための基準を設定する。図10を参照して設定手順を説明する。
 図10を参照して、目標達成判定部189は目標晩体重を100%(ここでは、100%体重という)に、および(目標晩体重-平均夕食変化量)に従う算出値を50%にそれぞれ対応付けた場合の、0%に対応の体重値(ここでは、0%体重と呼ぶ)を算出する。
 目標達成判定部189は、0%体重を算出後に、100%体重と0%体重とに基づき、40%および80%のそれぞれに相当する体重(ここでは、40%体重および80%体重と呼ぶ)を算出する。そして、0%体重以上40%体重未満をランクP3、40%体重以上80%体重未満をランクP2および80%体重以上をランクP1と複数に区分する。
 目標達成判定部189は、ステップS31で測定された夕食前体重が、ランクP1,P2およびP3のいずれの区分に該当するかを判定し、判定結果をアドバイス取得部185に出力する。
 アドバイス取得部185は、入力する判定結果に基づきデータ46を検索し、該当するランクの区分に予め対応付けされたアドバイスをデータ46から読出す。ここでは、ランクP1、P2およびP3に対応して図11の(A)~(C)のアドバイスM1~M3のそれぞれが取得される。
 アドバイスM1は、夕食前体重が80%体重以上を指し、夕食量によっては目標晩体重を超える可能性が十分にあることから、その旨のアドバイス(目標晩体重をオーバする可能性があること、夕食量を控えること、食後の運動を促す、など)を含む。アドバイスM2は、夕食前体重が40%体重以上80%体重未満を指すので食べ過ぎなければ目標晩体重を超えることはない(目標達成の可能性が十分にある)ことから、その旨のアドバイス(目標達成の可能性があること、食べ過ぎに注意し適量を心がける、など)を含む。アドバイスM3は、夕食前体重が0%体重以上40%体重未満を指すので順調に体重管理できている(目標達成の可能性が十分にある)ことから、その旨のアドバイス(順調な体重管理であること、体重の減らしすぎに留意する、など)を含む。これらのアドバイスは音声で出力されてもよい。
 図12には、図11の(A)のアドバイスM1の表示例が示される。図12の(A)では朝測定における朝体重(50.7kg)とともに目標晩体重(51.3kg)が表示されている。このケースにおいて夕食前測定の表示例が図12の(B)に示される。図12の(B)では、測定された夕食前体重(51.2kg)とともに、アドバイスM1が表示されている。
 被測定者は、夕食前測定においてアドバイスM1~M3を確認することで、目標達成のための夕食の量(適量)を把握することができる。
 なお、夕食前測定時に出力するアドバイスの取得に際して図10で説明した3段階のランクを割当てたが、ランク割当てはこれに限定されない。たとえば、((夕食前体重+平均夕食変化量)>目標晩体重)の条件が成立するか否かを判定し、判定結果に基づき条件成立する場合には“目標未達成”の可能性を知らせるアドバイスを出力し、条件不成立の場合には“目標達成の可能性があり順調に体重管理できている”ことを知らせるアドバイスを出力するようにしてもよい。
 このようにステップS33の判定方法には各種の方法を適用できるが、判定に用いる方法は変更可能である。
 本実施の形態では、標準日内変動量データ41を被測定者毎に正確に設定することができる。つまり、図13の(A)に示すように、被測定者の晩体重から朝体重を減算して就寝中体重変化量を算出し、複数日分の就寝中体重変化量の平均値を算出することで、実際の被測定者の体重増減量に基づいて標準日内変動量データ41を定めることができる。
 さらに、この算出方法を用いることで、体重が増加傾向であるか減少傾向であるかにかかわらず正しい標準日内変動量を定めることができる。
 また、本実施の形態では、人の体重は朝から晩にかけて増加し、晩から朝にかけて減少する傾向(図5の(A)および図13の(B)参照)を考慮しながら、朝時間から晩時間までの増加量をどの程度に抑えれば良いかの目安である目標晩体重を算出して出力することで、被測定者は、適切な夕食量の情報とともに、1日単位で体重の増減量を管理する支援情報を得ることができる。
 以上の構成および動作により、被測定者は、日内の体重変動をどの程度に留めれば良いかを示す目標晩体重と夕食の適量を確認することができ、この目標達成に向けて日内の体重変動の管理を計画的に行なえる。したがって、例えば減量する場合、一日単位という短期間で減量が順調に進んでいるか否かを判断するための情報と、減量を支援するための食事に関する情報を得ることができる。
 (夕食の食事内容のアドバイス)
 上述のアドバイス提示(ステップS38,ステップS39)では、夕食の量のみならず、以下のように食事内容をアドバイスするようにしてもよい。
 被測定者は、夕食毎に、当該夕食で摂取する食事内容(献立など)をカメラ部6で撮影し、その画像データをサーバ5に送信する。また、CPU181は、毎日の晩体重に基づく上述のステップS28の評価部184の評価結果(“OK”または“NG”)のデータをサーバ5に送信し、また、ステップS34の判定結果のデータをサーバ5に送信する。この判定結果は、フラグFで示されて、フラグFの値は“達成”または“未達成”を指す。
 サーバ5のCPU521は、毎日、カメラ部6から受信する夕食の画像データ、および体重体組成計3から受信する評価結果と判定結果を、タイマ50が計時するこれらの受信日時と関連付けて、レコード551として、記憶部55に格納する。これにより、記憶部55には、毎夕食の食事内容が、晩体重について目標達成できたか否かの情報と、夕食前の体重が目標達成できているか否かの情報と関連付けして格納されることになる。したがって、評価結果が“OK”を格納するレコード551の画像データは、晩体重が目標を達成した成功パターンの食事内容を表すことになる。ここでは、記憶部55には十分な件数のレコード551が既に格納されていると想定する。
 動作において、ステップS36では、アドバイス取得部185は“夕食前オーバ時の情報”を要求する要求信号をサーバ5に送信する。サーバ5は、当該要求を受信すると、受信した要求に基づき記憶部55を検索し、検索結果に基づき評価結果が“OK”およびフラグFが“未達成”を指すレコード551から画像データを読出し、読出した画像データを体重体組成計3に返信する。体重体組成計3では、アドバイス取得部185はサーバ5から受信した画像データを、ステップS39において表示部15に表示する。これにより、被測定者は、晩体重が目標を達成しうるような成功パターンの食事内容アドバイスを得ることができる。
 また、検索結果に基づき評価結果が“NG”およびフラグFが“未達成”を指すレコード551から画像データを読出し、読出した画像データを表示するようにしてもよい。その場合には、被測定者に対して、晩体重の目標達成のためには避けたい食事内容を提示することができる。
 ステップS35では、アドバイス取得部185は“夕食前達成時の情報”を要求する要求信号をサーバ5に送信する。サーバ5は、当該要求を受信すると、受信した要求に基づき記憶部55を検索し、検索結果に基づき評価結果が“OK”およびフラグFが“達成”を指すレコード551から画像データを読出し、読出した画像データを体重体組成計3に返信する。体重体組成計3では、アドバイス取得部185はサーバ5から受信した画像データを、ステップS38において表示部15に表示する。これにより、被測定者は、晩体重が目標を達成しうるような成功パターンの食事内容アドバイスを得ることができる。
 また、検索結果に基づき評価結果が“NG”およびフラグFが“達成”を指すレコード551から画像データを読出し、読出した画像データを表示するようにしてもよい。その場合には、被測定者に対して、晩体重の目標達成のためには避けたい食事内容を提示することができる。
 このように、晩体重が目標を達成し得るような成功パターンの食事内容が夕食前に表示されるので、被測定者に対し、体重管理を食事面から支援するための的確なアドバイスを提供できる。また、提供される画像は食事内容を撮影したものであるから、被測定者は画像から、献立、料理に使用している食材および量も把握することができる。
 また、食事内容を撮影する際に、何かコメント(味付けの程度、調味料、食材、量など)があれば、操作部53を用いて入力して、その内容をレコード551に格納しておくことで、被測定者に対して撮影画像とともにコメントも表示することができる。
 なお、食事内容の画像とコメントは、サーバ5の表示部54により表示されてもよい。
 (変形例)
 目標晩体重の算出方法は、ステップS24の算出方法に限定されない。たとえば、図4の(D)に示す過去の一定期間のレコード40の夜間変化量405Cに基づき、夜間変化量の平均(平均夜間変化量という)を算出し、(朝体重+平均夜間変化量)により目標晩体重を算出するようにしてもよい。なお、この算出に際しては、夜間変化量405Cの平均値に代替して、中央値または最頻値を用いてもよい。
 上述の実施形態では、体重体組成計3が全ての演算を行ったが、サーバ5が各種演算や出力を行なう構成にしてもよい。
 この場合、体重体組成計3は、ステップS3でサーバ5へ体重測定値を測定日時とともにサーバ5へ送信する構成にすればよい。そして、サーバ5の制御部52のCPU521は、体重体組成計3から体重測定値および測定日時を受け取ると、朝体重や晩体重を含むレコード40を取得し、図6~図7のフローチャートに従う処理を実行し、データの記憶は記憶部55で行い、表示は表示部54で行なう構成にすればよい。この場合、サーバ5は、表示部54の画面に表示する情報を体重体組成計3に送信し、体重体組成計3は、この情報を受信して、表示部15に受信情報を表示するようにしても良い。
 このようにサーバ5で処理を行なう場合でも、目標晩体重および達成度の判定の結果を被測定者に通知することができる。また、サーバ5を用いる場合は、例えば体重管理のカウンセラーなどが確認し、利用者にアドバイスするといった利用も可能になる。
 ステップS1とステップS2の間で被測定者に操作部14で朝/晩ボタン(図示せず)を選択入力させる構成にしてもよい。この場合は、入力によって朝体重の測定か晩体重の測定かを判別できる。このため、シフトワーカなど昼夜逆転の生活をしている被測定者であっても本実施の形態に係る体重管理装置を利用できる。
 このように構成した場合、朝/晩ボタンが押下されなければ目標などを表示せずに体重だけを表示するなど、朝/晩ボタンの押下の有無によって表示内容を異ならせるとよい。これにより、朝/晩ボタンの押し忘れを防止することができる。
 また、上述の実施の形態では、インピーダンス検知部20で検出する被測定者の生体インピーダンスから基礎代謝量を算出するとしたが、算出される体組成情報は基礎代謝量に限定されない。たとえば、生体インピーダンスと、記憶部12に記憶された被測定者の身長、年齢、性別と、荷重検知部33により検出した体重をもとに、体脂肪率、BMI、内臓脂肪レベル、骨格筋率、および、体年齢などを算出して、体重とともに出力するようにしてよい。
 本実施の形態では、夕食の食事内容のみを撮影しているが、朝食、昼食および夕食の食事内容を撮影して、晩体重が目標を達成した(“OK”)と判定された日の朝、昼および夕の食事内容の画像を表示するようにしてもよい。または、晩体重が目標を達成できなかった(“NG”)と判定された日の朝、昼および夕の食事内容の画像を表示するようにしてもよい。これにより、被測定者の食事内容の傾向から、体重管理を成功に導くための情報を提示することができる。
 また、サーバ5は、記憶部5に体重増加させやすい食事内容の情報(献立など)と、体重増加させにくい食事内容の情報とを格納し、ステップS35,ステップS36の処理において、体重体組成計3に送信するようにしてもよい。
 [他の実施の形態]
 本実施の形態における体重体組成計3が行なう上述した体重管理の方法は、プログラムとして提供することもできる。このようなプログラムは、制御部18または制御部52のコンピュータに付属するフレキシブルディスク、CD-ROM(compact disk read only memory)、ROM、RAMおよびメモリカードなどのコンピュータ読取り可能な記録媒体にて記録させて、プログラム製品として提供することもできる。あるいは、コンピュータに内蔵するハードディスクなどの記録媒体にて記録させて、プログラムを提供することもできる。また、ネットワークを介したダウンロードによって、プログラムを提供することもできる。
 提供されるプログラム製品は、ハードディスクなどのプログラム格納部にインストールされてCPU181(または521)により読出されて実行される。なお、プログラム製品は、プログラム自体と、プログラムが記録された記録媒体とを含む。
 今回開示された実施の形態はすべての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて請求の範囲によって示され、請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。

Claims (13)

  1.  被測定者の体重測定値と、測定日時とが関連付けされた測定データを取得するための体重取得手段と、
     前記測定データに基づく就寝中の体重の変動量を用いて、目標日内変動量を算出する増減量算出手段(188)と、
     前記目標日内変動量に基づいて、被測定者の起床から就寝までのうち起床側の第1タイミングで測定した起床側体重値に対して就寝側の第2タイミングで就寝側体重値を測定する際の目標値を算出する目標取得手段(182)と、
     食事前の第3タイミングで測定した食事前体重値と、しきい値との比較の結果に基づき、前記目標値を達成するための食事に関するアドバイス情報を取得するアドバイス取得手段(185)と、
     取得される前記アドバイス情報を出力する手段(180)と、を備える、体重管理装置。
  2.  前記アドバイス取得手段は、前記しきい値を前記目標値を用いて導出する、請求項1に記載の体重管理装置。
  3.  前記アドバイス取得手段は、
     取得される複数の測定データから、各日の前記食事前体重値と前記就寝側体重値との差分を算出し、算出された各差分と前記目標値から、前記しきい値を算出する、請求項2に記載の体重管理装置。
  4.  前記アドバイス取得手段は、
     前記目標値と、前記しきい値とを含む所定範囲の体重値を、複数に区分する手段、を含み、
     区分された体重値の各範囲に対応して異なる前記アドバイス情報が対応付けされて、
     前記各範囲のうち前記食事前体重値が属する範囲に対応付けされている前記アドバイス情報を取得する、請求項3に記載の体重管理装置。
  5.  前記算出された各差分の代表値を算出し、
     前記目標値から前記代表値を減じることにより、前記しきい値を算出する、請求項3に記載の体重管理装置。
  6.  前記増減量算出手段は、体重の日内目標増減量と、前記就寝中の体重の変動量とから、前記目標日内変動量を算出する、請求項1に記載の体重管理装置。
  7.  前記アドバイス情報は、食事量に関する情報を含む、請求項1に記載の体重管理装置。
  8.  前記アドバイス情報は、食事内容に関する情報を含む、請求項1に記載の体重管理装置。
  9.  前記第3タイミングの後の食事のそれぞれを撮影して得られる画像を取得する画像取得手段と、
     前記就寝側体重値と前記目標値とに基づき、日内の目標を達成したか否かを判定する手段と、をさらに備え、
     前記食事内容に関する情報は、前記食事を撮影して得られた画像を含む、請求項8に記載の体重管理装置。
  10.  前記食事内容に関する情報は、前記食事を撮影して得られた各画像のうち、前記日内の
    目標を達成したと判定された日の食事を撮影して得られた画像を含む、請求項9に記載の体重管理装置。
  11.  コンピュータを用いて被測定者の体重を管理する体重管理方法であって、
     被測定者の体重測定値と、測定日時とが関連付けされた測定データを取得するステップと、
     測定データをメモリに格納するステップと、
     前記メモリから測定データを読出し、読出された測定データに基づく就寝中の体重の変動量から、目標日内変動量を算出するステップと、
     前記目標日内変動量に基づいて、被測定者の起床から就寝までのうち起床側の第1タイミングで測定した起床側体重値に対して就寝側の第2タイミングで就寝側体重値を測定する際の目標値を算出するステップと、
     食事前の第3タイミングで測定した食事前体重値と、しきい値との比較の結果に基づき、前記目標値を達成するための食事に関するアドバイス情報を取得するステップと、
     取得される前記アドバイス情報を出力するステップと、を備える、体重管理方法。
  12.  コンピュータに体重管理方法を実行させるためのプログラムであって、
     前記体重管理方法は、
     被測定者の体重測定値と、測定日時とが関連付けされた測定データを取得するステップと、
     測定データをメモリに格納するステップと、
     前記メモリから測定データを読出し、読出された測定データに基づく就寝中の体重の変動量から、目標日内変動量を算出するステップと、
     前記目標日内変動量に基づいて、被測定者の起床から就寝までのうち起床側の第1タイミングで測定した起床側体重値に対して就寝側の第2タイミングで就寝側体重値を測定する際の目標値を算出するステップと、
     食事前の第3タイミングで測定した食事前体重値と、しきい値との比較の結果に基づき、前記目標値を達成するための食事に関するアドバイス情報を取得するステップと、
     取得される前記アドバイス情報を出力するステップと、を備える、コンピュータに体重管理方法を実行させるためのプログラム。
  13.  被測定者の身体情報を測定する測定装置と、情報処理装置とを備える体重管理システムであって、
     前記測定装置は、
     被測定者の体重を測定する手段と、
     体重測定値と、測定日時とを関連付けされた測定データを出力する手段と、を含み、
     前記情報処理装置は、
     前記測定装置から出力される前記測定データを受理する手段と、
     前記測定データに基づく就寝中の体重の変動量から、目標日内変動量を算出する増減量算出手段(188)と、
     前記目標日内変動量に基づいて、被測定者の起床から就寝までのうち起床側の第1タイミングで測定した起床側体重値に対して就寝側の第2タイミングで就寝側体重値を測定する際の目標値を算出する目標取得手段(182)と、
     食事前の第3タイミングで測定した食事前体重値と、しきい値との比較の結果に基づき、前記目標値を達成するための食事に関するアドバイス情報を取得するアドバイス取得手段(185)と、
     取得される前記アドバイス情報を出力する手段(180)と、を含む、体重管理システム。
