Étant donné que l'épaisseur de l'absorbant dans la région face à la fente glutéale (25) est formée de manière à être plus mince que l'épaisseur de l'absorbant dans la région face à l'orifice de décharge de sang (23), l'absorbant a une convexité antérieure (21) qui fait saillie sur la surface de contact avec la peau dans la région face à l'orifice de décharge de sang (23) mais ne forme pas une convexité dans la région face à la fente glutéale (25).
