Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cut sheet feeding apparatus that sequentially extracts and feeds cut sheets from a group of cut sheets stacked one above the other.
- the above-described conventional cut sheet feeding device feeds the cut sheet that has been previously extracted from the group of cut sheets in a state where the front end of the next cut sheet overlaps the so-called partial double feed. There was a problem that this problem was likely to occur.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a cut sheet feeding device that can reduce the occurrence of partial double feeding as compared with the prior art.
- the inventor of the present application has clarified the mechanism of partial double feeding that has not been clarified in the past as follows. That is, when the lowermost cut sheet (hereinafter referred to as “first cut sheet”) in the cut sheet group is pulled out by the conveyance belt, the next cut sheet (hereinafter referred to as “second cut sheet”) of the first cut sheet.
- first cut sheet lowermost cut sheet
- second cut sheet next cut sheet of the first cut sheet.
- the contact area between the “cut paper” and the conveyor belt increases, and the dynamic friction force that the second cut paper receives from the conveyor belt also increases.
- the dynamic frictional force acting between the second cut sheet and the conveying belt causes the cut sheet next to the second cut sheet and the second cut sheet to be cut.
- partial double feeding occurs.
- the dynamic frictional force acting between the second cut sheet and the conveyor belt causes the cut sheet next to the second cut sheet and the second cut sheet.
