Thereafter, 270.0 g (15.0 mol) of water having a 10-fold molar amount of the charged lithium amide was added and stirred.
  • Comparative Examples 1 to 12 using lithium amide as a catalyst an odor was observed, whereas in Examples 1 to 12 using an alkali metal hydride compound, an odor was generated. Absent. Further, compared with Examples 2 to 12, Comparative Examples 2 to 12 have a large amount of unreacted styrene. This is because lithium amide, which is a catalyst, reacts quickly with moisture in the air to become lithium hydroxide having no catalytic ability.
  • an amino compound of the present invention since an amino compound can be stably supplied without generating an odor, equipment for reducing the odor is unnecessary and industrially useful.
