Definitions
- the present invention relates to a granular detergent composition and a method for producing the same.
- This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2010-224125 filed in Japan on October 1, 2010, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
- the granular detergent composition fine particles are generated due to contact between the detergent composition particles during transportation and the like, and dust is easily generated. Since this dust generation is particularly problematic from the viewpoint of consumer usability, it is required to reduce the amount of fine powder generated (inhibition of dust generation) in the granular detergent composition. In addition, the granular detergent composition is also required to have a high fluidity from the point of view of handling at the time of use. In order to satisfy these dust generation suppression and fluidity, a granular detergent composition in which the surface of a granular detergent containing 20 to 50% by weight of an anionic surfactant is coated with a nonionic surfactant has been proposed ( Patent Document 1).
- Patent Document 1 relates to a conventional granular detergent composition having a high surfactant concentration.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a granular detergent composition that is difficult to generate dust and excellent in fluidity even when the surfactant is in a low concentration, and a method for producing the same. Let it be an issue.
- the granular detergent composition of the present invention is characterized in that detergent particles containing a surfactant and an alkali agent are coated with a water-insoluble inorganic compound, an organic chelating agent, and a binder.
- the organic chelating agent is preferably at least one organic chelating agent selected from methylglycine diacetic acid and salts thereof.
- the water-insoluble inorganic compound is preferably zeolite.
- the said surfactant is at least 1 type of surfactant selected from the group which consists of an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant.
- the alkaline agent is preferably at least one alkaline agent selected from the group consisting of sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, and sodium bicarbonate.
- the binder is preferably a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether.
- the method for producing the granular detergent composition of the present invention is the method for producing the granular detergent composition of the present invention, wherein the detergent particles containing a surfactant and an alkali agent are mixed with a water-insoluble inorganic compound and an organic chelate. It is characterized by coating with an agent and a binder.
- the present invention it is possible to provide a granular detergent composition that is difficult to generate dust and excellent in fluidity even when the surfactant is in a low concentration, and a method for producing the same.
- the detergent particles containing a surfactant and an alkali agent are composed of a water-insoluble inorganic compound, an organic chelating agent, and a binder (hereinafter, these three components are collectively referred to as “coating components”). It is covered with.
- coating includes not only a state where the entire surface of the detergent particles is covered with the coating component (coverage rate 100%) but also a state where 50% or more of the surface area of the detergent particles is covered.
- the coverage rate refers to the ratio of the area where the coating component adheres to the surface area of the detergent particles when the particles of the granular detergent composition are observed with an electron microscope or the like.
- the detergent particles may be coated with a three-component mixture of a water-insoluble inorganic compound, an organic chelating agent, and a binder, and the three components may be mixed on the surface of the detergent particles.
- An inorganic compound, an organic chelating agent, and a binder may be coated independently and sequentially, and the coating component may be laminated on the surface of the detergent particles.
- the remaining one component, and a two-component mixture and the remaining one component laminated on the surface of the detergent particles are preferably laminated on the surface of the detergent particles.
- the average particle size of the granular detergent composition is preferably 200 to 1500 ⁇ m, more preferably 300 to 1000 ⁇ m.
- production of a fine powder is suppressed as an average particle diameter is more than a lower limit, and the solubility to water improves that it is below an upper limit on the other hand.
- the “average particle size” is a value obtained by performing a classification operation using a 9-stage sieve having a mesh opening of 1680 ⁇ m, 1410 ⁇ m, 1190 ⁇ m, 1000 ⁇ m, 710 ⁇ m, 500 ⁇ m, 350 ⁇ m, 250 ⁇ m, and 149 ⁇ m.
- the 9-stage sieve is stacked on a tray in the order of a sieve having a small mesh size and a sieve having a large mesh size, and a measurement sample of 100 g / time is put on the top sieve having a mesh size of 1680 ⁇ m.
- the average particle diameter can be determined from the following formula, where c is the total mass frequency from the screen to the a ⁇ m sieve and d% is the mass frequency on the a ⁇ m sieve.
- the bulk density of the granular detergent composition can be determined in consideration of the bulk density of the detergent particles. For example, it is preferably 500 to 1200 g / L, more preferably 600 to 1100 g / L. If the bulk density is equal to or higher than the lower limit value, the space (storage location) required for storing the granular detergent composition can be reduced, which is advantageous. On the other hand, if it is below an upper limit, the solubility in water of a granular detergent composition will become favorable. In the present invention, the bulk density is a value measured by a method according to JIS K3362-1998 (the same applies hereinafter).
- the detergent particles contain a surfactant and an alkali agent.
- the average particle size of the detergent particles is preferably 200 to 1000 ⁇ m, more preferably 300 to 500 ⁇ m. If the average particle size is at least the lower limit, the generation of fine powder is suppressed, while if it is at most the upper limit, the solubility in water is improved.
- the average particle diameter is a value determined by performing the classification operation described above.
- the bulk density of the detergent particles is preferably 500 to 1200 g / L, more preferably 800 to 1000 g / L. Abstract
