- the display unit 81 has the same design shape as the display unit 72 employed in the third embodiment, and the background unit 82 has the same design as the background unit 73 employed in the third embodiment. It shall have a shape.
- part of the external light incident on the case body 50 is attenuated when passing through the cover 55 and reaches the diffusing member 80, but the external light reaching the diffusing member 80 is reached. Since a part of the light is diffused (diffusely reflected) by the diffusing member 80, the internal components such as the circuit board 20 and the light source 30 housed in the case body 50 are not illuminated. Therefore, the reflection of the internal machine parts on the windshield (reflecting member) 13 due to external light is prevented, and the driver 14 can visually recognize the red light emission image (virtual image V) without the afterimage.
- the same operational effects as those of the third embodiment can be obtained.
- the background portion 82 is formed on the back surface of the diffusing member 80 has been described.
- the background portion 82 may be formed on the surface of the diffusing member 80.
- the display unit 81 is formed on the surface of the diffusion member 80.
- the background 55 is not formed on the back surface of the diffusion member 80 provided behind the cover 55 so as to be separated from the cover 55.
- a background portion 82 corresponding to the background portion 57 employed in the first embodiment may be formed on the surface.
- a display unit 81 corresponding to the display unit 56 employed in the first embodiment is formed in a region excluding the background unit 82.
- the background portion 82 and the display portion 81 are provided not on the surface of the cover 55 but on the back surface of the cover 55 (curved surface portion 55 a), and the diffusing member 80 is provided. Needless to say, it may be provided between the cover 55 and the light source 30 so as to be separated from the cover 55.
- a fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 12.
- the same reference numerals are used for the same or corresponding parts as in the first to fourth embodiments, and the details thereof are used. Detailed explanation is omitted.
- the diffusion sheet 58 attached to the back surface of the cover 55 is eliminated, and the front side of the design panel 70 (the design panel 70 and the cover). 55), for example, a thin plate-shaped diffusion member (diffusion means) 90 made of a light-transmitting synthetic resin having milky white color is disposed.
- the diffusing member 90 has a function of diffusing outside light incident on the case body 50 through the cover 55, is positioned between the design panel 70 and the cover 55, and appropriately uses a fixing means to fix the case body 50 (upper surface). It is fixed to the case 51). Also in the fifth embodiment, a part of the external light incident on the case body 50 is attenuated when passing through the cover 55 and reaches the diffusing member 90, but the external light that has reached the diffusing member 90 is reached. Since a part of the light is diffused (diffusely reflected) by the diffusing member 90, the internal components such as the circuit board 20, the light source 30, and the design panel 70 accommodated in the case body 50 are not illuminated. Therefore, the reflection of the internal machine parts on the windshield (reflecting member) 13 due to external light is prevented, and the driver 14 can visually recognize the red light emission image (virtual image V) without the afterimage. The same operational effects as in the fourth embodiment can be obtained.
- the virtual image V which is a red light emission image
- the virtual image V is displayed as the light source 30 is turned on.
- the virtual image V which is a red light emission image
- the virtual image V is blinked by, for example, blinking the light source 30. It may be.
- the alerting force for the driver 14 can be further increased.
- a virtual image V that is a circular red light emission image is displayed to alert the driver 14 (warning is given).
- the virtual image V may be displayed (flashing display) to alert the driver 14 (warning is urged).
- the convex lens 41 of the lens member 40 has a plano-convex lens shape in which the back side (light source 30 side) is a flat surface and the front side (front wall 51a side of the case body 50) is a convex surface.
- the example has been described, for example, a convex lens 41 having a biconvex lens shape in which both the light source 30 side and the front wall portion 51a side are convex surfaces may be applied.
- the example in which the emitted light L emitted from the light source 30 is emitted to the windshield 13 has been described.
- the combiner film that reflects the emitted light L in the direction of the driver 14 on the windshield 13 favorably.
- the outgoing light L may be emitted to a dedicated reflecting member different from the windshield 13.
- the present invention can be applied to a vehicle head-up display device in which light emitted from a light emitter is reflected by a windshield of a vehicle and a virtual image obtained by the reflection is visually recognized by a vehicle user.
