Description
また、水溶性樹脂と吸水性樹脂の混合により、水へ浸漬させた際に吸水性樹脂が膨潤し、様々な助剤を放出させるような複合体もウェットシェービング用のスムーサーに用いられることもある(特許文献2)。
また、ウェットシェービング器具および医療器具等に用いるポリマー複合材として、水不溶性ポリマーならびに、アルキレンオキシドモノマーおよびエポキシ官能性モノマーから重合された感水性コポリマーを含むポリマー複合材が開示されている(特許文献3)。
しかしながら、前記水溶性樹脂は熱可塑性樹脂等との相溶性が低く、複合材等の表面に水溶性樹脂が塊状で点在しているだけである。そのため、使用し始めた初期段階の潤滑性には優れるものの、繰り返し使用により点在している水溶性樹脂が塊状で抜け落ち、その潤滑性が短期間で失われてしまう。
前記溶融混合、反応後は、射出成型や押出成型、インフレーション成形することにより、ペレット状、シート状(本明細書において、厚みが0.2mm以上のものをいう。)、フィルム状(本明細書において、厚みが0.2mm未満のものをいう。)、棒状、繊維状等の所望の形状に成型してもよい。
製造例に記載のポリアルキレンオキシド変性物およびポリアクリル酸塩架橋物の吸水能および水溶性成分比率、ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物の溶融粘度、実施例に用いた熱可塑性樹脂のデュロメータD硬さ(HDD)、ならびに、実施例および比較例で得られた樹脂組成物の折り曲げ試験、膨潤率、ヌメリ感および摩擦物性について、以下の方法に従って測定および評価した。
ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物およびポリアクリル酸塩架橋物の吸水能については、以下の方法により測定した。
約1[g]のポリアルキレンオキシド変性物またはポリアクリル酸塩架橋物を秤量(A[g])した後、200mL容のビーカーに計りとった100[mL]のイオン交換水に、室温下(22℃)で、24時間浸漬してゲル化させた。その後、200mesh(目開き:75μm)の金網にてゲルをろ過し、その質量(B[g])を測り、次式により、吸水能を算出した。
吸水能[g/g]=B/A
前記(1)吸水能の測定により得られたゲルを、105℃に設定した熱風乾燥機にて恒量(C[g])になるまで乾燥し、次式により、水溶性成分比率を算出した。ただし、Aは前記(1)吸水能の測定のAと同様である。

ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物等1.5gを、フローテスター(株式会社島津製作所製、型番:CFT-500C)を用いて、以下に示す条件で測定した。

デュロメータD硬さ(HDD)とは、日本工業規格:JIS K 7215(1986年)に記載されている「プラスチックのデュロメータ硬さ試験方法」に従い、「デュロメータ硬さのタイプD」において測定される「硬さ」を意味する。
具体的には、成形した樹脂組成物のシート面またはフィルム面の平面度および平行度が良好なことを確認後、全体の厚み(T)が6mm以上になるように複数枚のシートまたはフィルムを重ねて測定サンプルとした。複数のシート間またはフィルム間の密着度も良好なことを確認後、得られた測定サンプルのHDDをデュロメータ保持台上で測定した。
実施例および比較例により得られた樹脂組成物のシートまたはフィルムを2cm(幅:W)×5cm(長さ:L)に切断し、測定サンプルとした。
測定サンプルの端部(2cm幅の短辺)から1cmの部分(残り4cm)で90度に折り曲げ、折り曲げ部分について以下の基準に従って評価した。また、別途、同様の測定サンプルを用いて、折り曲げる角度を180度に変更して、同様の評価を行った。
評価基準
A:折り曲げ部の白化がなく、元のシート形状またはフィルム形状に戻る(復元力がある)。
B:折り曲げ部は白化するが、元のシート形状またはフィルム形状に戻る(復元力がある)。
C:折り曲げ部に白化があり、元のシート形状またはフィルム形状に戻らない(復元力がない)。
(a)シートの膨潤率
実施例および比較例により得られた樹脂組成物のシートを2cm(W)×5cm(L)に切断し、測定サンプルとした。
測定サンプルの質量(E[g])を測定した後、200mL容のビーカーに計りとった100[mL]のイオン交換水に、室温下(22℃)で24時間浸漬して膨潤させた。その後、測定サンプルを取り出し、ペーパータオルを用いて表面の水を拭い、その質量(F[g])を測定した。なお、膨潤率が300%未満の場合、膨潤による寸法の変化が少ないと判断できる。また、膨潤した樹脂組成物からゲル状の吸水性樹脂が脱離した場合は、「ゲル脱離」と評価した。

また、実施例および比較例により得られた樹脂組成物のフィルムを2cm(W)×5cm(L)に切断し、測定サンプルとした。
測定サンプルの質量(E[g])を測定した後、200mL容のビーカーに計りとった100[mL]のイオン交換水に、室温下(22℃)で1分間浸漬して膨潤させた。その後、測定サンプルを取り出し、ペーパータオルを用いて表面の水を拭い、その質量(F[g])を測定した。なお、膨潤率が200%未満の場合、膨潤による寸法の変化が少ないと判断できる。また、膨潤した樹脂組成物からゲル状の吸水性樹脂が脱離した場合は、「ゲル脱離」と評価した。

実施例および比較例により得られた樹脂組成物のシートまたはフィルムを2cm(W)×5cm(L)に切断し、測定サンプルとした。
200mL容のビーカーに計りとったイオン交換水100mL中に、実施例等により得られた測定サンプルを1分間浸漬させた後に、ペーパータオルで表面の水を拭い、測定サンプルの表面を手でこすり、以下の評価基準に従って評価した。
評価基準
A:ヌメリ感なし
B:糸は曳かないがヌメリ感あり
C:ヌメリ感があり、糸を曳く
実施例および比較例により得られた樹脂組成物のシートまたはフィルムを2cm(W)×5cm(L)に切断し、測定サンプルとした。
測定サンプルの塗布表面に0.2mLのイオン交換水を滴下した30秒後に、摩擦感テスター(カトーテック株式会社製、型式:KES-SE)を用いて、以下の試験条件下、摩擦係数μをモニターした。

表面をこする時に感じるすべりやすさ、すべりにくさと相関性がある。この値が大きくなるほどすべりにくくなる。
摩擦係数μのモニター結果から平均摩擦係数(MIU)を求める概略図を、図2に示す。
図2に示すように、測定サンプルの表面をスキャンして、表面の摩擦係数μをモニターする。次に、20mmのモニター幅において、摩擦係数μについて積分する(図2の斜線部分)。積分値をモニター幅(20mm)で除することによって、平均摩擦係数(MIU)を求める。
MIUの値が0.3以下のとき、滑り性が良好といえる。
表面をこする時に感じるなめらかさ、ざらつき感と相関性がある。この値が大きいほど表面がざらざらしている。
摩擦係数のモニター結果から平均摩擦係数の変動(MMD)を求める概略図を、図3に示す。
図3に示すように、20mmのモニター幅において、平均摩擦係数(MIU)と摩擦係数μとの差異の絶対値について積分する(図3の斜線部分)。積分値をモニター幅(20mm)で除することによって、平均摩擦係数の変動(MMD)を求める。
MMDの値が0.015以下のとき、表面のなめらかさが良好といえる。
1回目のモニター後、ペーパータオルで表面の水を拭き取り、シートまたはフィルムを50℃に設定したオーブンに1時間入れて乾燥した後、上記と同様の条件にて、2回目のモニターを行った。同様にして6回目まで繰り返し、摩擦係数μをモニターした。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートまたはフィルムを2cm(W)×5cm(L)×0.1cm(T)(質量:1.0g)の短冊状に切り取った後、10gの水中に所定時間(10、20、30、60分間)浸漬した。
シートまたはフィルムを取出した後の前記水4.5mLを、1cm厚みの石英ガラスに入れて、紫外-可視分光光度計(株式会社島津製作所製、型番:UV-3150)を用いて、波長289nmにおける吸光度を測定した。得られた吸光度を用いて、予め同条件にて測定したアスコルビン酸の検量線より、抽出されたアスコルビン酸量を算出した。
80℃に保温された攪拌機を備えた貯蔵タンクAに、十分に脱水した数平均分子量20,000のポリエチレンオキシド100質量部、1,4-ブタンジオール0.90質量部およびジオクチルスズジラウレート0.1質量部の割合で投入し、窒素ガス雰囲気下で攪拌して均一な混合物とした。これとは別に、30℃に保温された貯蔵タンクBにジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネートを投入し、窒素ガス雰囲気下で貯蔵した。
定量ポンプを用いて、貯蔵タンクAの混合物を500[g/分]の速度にて、貯蔵タンクBのジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネートを19.4[g/分]の速度にて、110~140℃に設定した2軸押出機に連続的に供給し(R値=1.00)、押出機中で混合して反応を行い、押出機出口からストランドを出し、ペレタイザーによりペレット化して、吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を得た。
得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物の吸水能は25[g/g]、水溶性成分比率は15.5[質量%]、溶融粘度は320[Pa・s]であった。
数平均分子量15,000のエチレンオキシド/プロピレンオキシド(質量比:90/10)共重合体を250[g/分]の速度にて、40℃に加熱したエチレングリコールを2.1[g/分]の速度にて、それぞれ40mmφ単軸押出機(L/D=40、設定温度:90℃)に供給して両者を溶融混合した。
吐出口から得られる混合物(均一な溶融状態で吐出しており、LCにて分析して仕込み比で混合していることを確認した)を、30mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=41.5)のホッパー口(設定温度:80℃)へ連続的に供給した。同時に2軸押出機のホッパー口にはジオクチルスズジラウレートを0.5[g/分]の速度にて供給した。
これとは別に、前記2軸押出機のホッパー口の下流側に位置するスクリューバレル部に、30℃に調整したジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネートを12.4[g/分]の速度にて供給し(R値=0.95)、窒素雰囲気下で連続的に反応させた(設定温度:180℃)。2軸押出機出口から得られるストランドを冷却後、ペレタイザーによりペレット化して吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を得た。
得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物の吸水能は20[g/g]、水溶性成分比率は11.3[質量%]、溶融粘度は150[Pa・s]であった。
数平均分子量20,000のポリエチレンオキシドを250[g/分]の速度にて、40mmφ単軸押出機(L/D=40、設定温度:90℃)に供給して溶融した。
吐出口から得られる溶融物を、30mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=41.5)のホッパー口(設定温度:80℃)へ連続的に供給した。同時に2軸押出機のホッパー口にはジオクチルスズジラウレートを0.25[g/分]の速度にて供給した。
これとは別に、前記2軸押出機のホッパー口の下流側に位置するスクリューバレル部に、30℃に調整したジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネートを3.27[g/分]の速度にて供給し(R値=1.00)、窒素雰囲気下で連続的に反応させた(設定温度:180℃)。2軸押出機出口から得られるストランドを冷却後、ペレタイザーによりペレット化して水溶性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を得た。
得られた水溶性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物の水溶性成分比率は100[質量%]、溶融粘度は220[Pa・s]であった。なお、得られたポリアルキレンオキシド変性物は水溶性であるため、吸水能は測定できなかった。
攪拌機、還流冷却器および窒素ガス導入管を備えた1L容の四つ口円筒型丸底フラスコにn-ヘプタン550mLを加えた。これにHLBが13.1のヘキサグリセリルモノベヘレート(界面活性剤;日本油脂株式会社製のノニオンGV-106)を1.38g添加して分散させ、50℃まで昇温して界面活性剤を溶解した後30℃まで冷却した。
一方、500mL容の三角フラスコを別に用意し、これに80質量%のアクリル酸水溶液92gを加えた。これに、外部から冷却しつつ20.1質量%の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液152.6gを滴下して75モル%の中和を行い、その後、過硫酸カリウム0.11gと架橋剤としてのエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル0.019gとをさらに加えて溶解させた。これによりアクリル酸部分中和物水溶液が得られた。
次に、前記アクリル酸部分中和物水溶液の全量を前記四つ口円筒型丸底フラスコに加えて分散させ、系内を窒素で置換した後に昇温し、浴温を70℃に保持して3時間かけて重合反応を行った。
重合反応終了後、得られたポリアクリル酸塩架橋物を含むスラリーを、120℃で2時間乾燥してポリアクリル酸塩架橋物191.2gを得た。
得られたポリアクリル酸塩架橋物の吸水能は550[g/g]、水溶性成分比率は0.06[%]であった。なお、得られたポリアクリル酸塩架橋物の溶融粘度は、測定できなかった。
製造例1と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を6[kg/hr]、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体[略号:EVA、住友化学株式会社製:エバテートD3010、酢酸ビニル含量=10%、メルトインデックス(MI)=6、HDD=35]を15[kg/hr]の割合にて、130℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を、130~150℃に設定した射出成型機(東洋機械金属株式会社製、型番:TI80G2)を用いて、6cm(W)×9cm(L)×0.15cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
製造例1と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を7[kg/hr]、エチレン/アクリル酸共重合体[略号:EAA、ダウケミカル社製:プリマコール5980、アクリル酸含量=20%、MI=300、HDD=40]を14[kg/hr]の割合にて、140℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を、130℃に設定したホットプレス(ゴンノ水圧機製作所製、40tプレス、圧力:50[kg/cm2])を用いて、10cm(W)×10cm(L)×0.10cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。

得られた樹脂組成物を、150℃に設定したホットプレス(ゴンノ水圧機製作所製、40tプレス、圧力:50[kg/cm2])を用いて、10cm(W)×10cm(L)×0.10cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
製造例1と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を6[kg/hr]、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体[略号:EVA、住友化学株式会社製:エバテートD3010、酢酸ビニル含量=10%、メルトインデックス(MI)=6、HDD35]を15[kg/hr]、アスコルビン酸を42[g/hr]の割合にて、130℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。
得られた樹脂組成物を130~150℃に設定した押出機(シンコーマシナリー株式会社製 SYH25-25 L/D=25)とインフレーション成型機(シンコーマシナリー株式会社製 SF-300)を用いて、幅160mm 厚み80μmのインフレーションフィルムを得た。
得られたインフレーションフィルムを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。

製造例2と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を2[kg/hr]、エチレン/アクリル酸共重合体[略号:EAA、ダウケミカル社製:プリマコール3460、アクリル酸含量=9.7%、MI=20、HDD=42]を18[kg/hr]の割合にて、130℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を、130℃に設定したホットプレス(ゴンノ水圧機製作所製、40tプレス、圧力:50[kg/cm2])を用いて、10cm(W)×10cm(L)×0.10cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
製造例1と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を6[kg/hr]、耐衝撃性ポリスチレン[略号:HIPS、BASF社製:476L、HDD=72]を15[kg/hr]の割合にて、220℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を、220℃に設定したホットプレス(ゴンノ水圧機製作所製、40tプレス、圧力:50[kg/cm2])を用いて、10cm(W)×10cm(L)×0.10cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
製造例4で得たポリアクリル酸塩架橋物を6[kg/hr]、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体[略号:EVA、住友化学株式会社製:エバテートD3010、酢酸ビニル含量=10%、MI=6、HDD=35]を15[kg/hr]の割合にて、120℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を、130℃に設定したホットプレス(ゴンノ水圧機製作所製、40tプレス、圧力:50[kg/cm2])を用いて、10cm(W)×10cm(L)×0.1cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
製造例1と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を15[kg/hr]、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体[略号:EVA、住友化学株式会社製:エバテートD3010、酢酸ビニル含量=10%、MI=6、HDD35]を3[kg/hr]の割合にて、120℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を130~150℃に設定した押出機(シンコーマシナリー株式会社製 SYH25-25 L/D=25)とインフレーション成型機(シンコーマシナリー株式会社製 SF-300)を用いて、幅160mm 厚み80μmのインフレーションフィルムを得た。
得られたインフレーションフィルムを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
製造例1と同様にして得られた吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物を6[kg/hr]、耐衝撃性ポリスチレン[略号:HIPS、BASF社製:476L、HDD=72]を15[kg/hr]、アスコルビン酸を42[g/hr](樹脂組成物100質量部に対して、0.2質量部に相当)の割合にて、220℃に設定した28mmφの2軸押出機(L/D=40)に供給し、樹脂組成物を得た。樹脂組成物の組成割合を表1に示す。
得られた樹脂組成物を、220℃に設定したホットプレス(ゴンノ水圧機製作所製、40tプレス、圧力:50[kg/cm2])を用いて、10cm(W)×10cm(L)×0.1cm(T)の樹脂組成物のシートに成型した。
得られた樹脂組成物のシートを所定の大きさに切断し、前記各種測定および評価を行った。結果を表2および3に示す。
一方、比較例8の樹脂組成物は、その製造段階において高温を必要とするため、添加したアスコルビン酸が熱により分解され、水に放出できていないことがわかる。
Claims (5)
- 吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物100質量部およびデュロメータD硬さ(HDD)が10~60である熱可塑性樹脂60~500質量部を含む樹脂組成物。
- 前記吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物が、ポリアルキレンオキシド化合物とジオール化合物とジイソシアネート化合物とを反応させて得られるポリアルキレンオキシド変性物である請求項1に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物の吸水能が、10~40[g/g]である請求項1または2に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記吸水性ポリアルキレンオキシド変性物の水溶性成分比率が、5~30質量%である請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂が、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体、エチレン/アクリル酸共重合体、エチレン/エチルアクリレート共重合体またはそれらの組合せである請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の樹脂組成物。
