- the two restricting members 290 are opened by being biased by the spring 296 (the restricting portions 291 of the two restricting members 290). The distance between them is large).
- the tip of the article receiving portion 292 is disposed at a position higher than the bottom portion 23 in the region where the FOUP 6 is placed.
- the restricting unit 291 is at a retracted position that is out of the region where the FOUP 6 is placed, and allows the FOUP 6 to move between the bottom 23 and a position directly above the bottom 23.
- the FOUP 6 is placed on the side buffer 2 by being lowered from above the regulating member 290 in the vertical direction. Specifically, the FOUP 6 is moved to above the bottom 23 and the restricting portion 291 by being moved in the x-axis direction by the lateral movement mechanism 39 while being held on the lifting platform 41 (horizontal shift operation). . Next, the FOUP 6 is lowered in the vertical direction by the elevating drive unit 40 (lowering operation). The moving direction of the FOUP 6 is also represented by arrows D1 and D2 in FIG.
- the article receiving portion 292 is pushed down by the descending FOUP 6.
- the regulating member 290 rotates around the rotation shaft 295. That is, when the link portion 293 transmits the force received by the article receiving portion 292 to the restricting portion 291, the restricting portion 291 of the restricting member 290 on the front side (left side in FIG. 6) rotates clockwise in FIG.
- the restricting portion 291 of the restricting member 290 (on the right side in FIG. 6) rotates counterclockwise in FIG.
- the article receiving portion 292 is pushed down to the same height as the bottom 23 by the FOUP 6 (FIG. 6).
- the link portion 293 stands up so as to be parallel to the y-axis.
- the restricting portion 291 moves to the restricting position.
- the “regulatory position” is directly above the lower flange 65 of the FOUP 6.
- the regulating member 290 is in a closed state (a state where the distance between the regulating portions 291 of the two regulating members 290 is small).
- the lower flange 65 is sandwiched between the restricting portion 291 and the article receiving portion 292 in the y-axis direction.
- the regulation member 290 can prevent the FOUP 6 from falling. This is because the position of the restricting portion 291 hardly changes even when the FOUP 6 is tilted. That is, even if the FOUP 6 is tilted, the restricting portion 291 can limit the movement range of the lower flange 65. As a result, the inclination of the FOUP 6 with respect to the side buffer 2 is limited.
- the reason why the position of the restricting portion 291 hardly changes even when the FOUP 6 is tilted will be described. Since the restricting member 290 is arranged so that the FOUP 6 is placed on the article receiving portion 292, the movement range of the article receiving portion 292 (the rotation angle of the restricting member 290) is limited by the weight of the FOUP 6 even if the FOUP 6 is inclined. Is done.
- the movement range of the article receiving portion 292 is limited. Therefore, the movement range of the restriction portion 291 is also restricted, and as a result, the movement of the lower flange 65 is restricted. In other words, the restricting portion 291 is provided so that the restricting position can be maintained even when the FOUP 6 is tilted.
- the fall prevention mechanism 29 does not hinder the placement and removal of the FOUP 6 from the side buffer 2 in the vertical direction. That is, it is possible to effectively prevent the FOUP 6 from overturning and to smoothly put the FOUP 6 in and out of the side buffer 2.
- the FOUP 6 can be taken in and out not only in the D1 direction of FIG. 2 but also in the D2 direction. That is, the FOUP 6 can be taken in and out of the side buffer 2 from both the positive and negative directions of the x axis. The reason that the entry / exit from these two directions is possible is because the restriction unit 291 moves to the retracted position, so that the entry / exit of the FOUP 6 is not hindered.
- the rails are arranged on both sides of the side buffer 2 in the x-axis direction.
- the FOUP 6 is taken in and out of the side buffer 2 from both the left and right in FIG.
- the FOUP 6 placed from the D1 direction may be taken out from the D2 direction, or the FOUP 6 placed from the D2 direction may be taken out from the D1 direction.
- the side buffer 2 it is not necessary to increase the height of the horizontal panel 24, the front panel 251, and the rear panel 252 in order to prevent the FOUP 6 from falling by providing the regulating member 290. Therefore, the lifting distance when the FOUP 6 is put in and out of the side buffer 2 can be shortened. Therefore, the operation time of the transport vehicle 3 that performs transfer is shortened.
- the regulating member 290 can take the first posture shown in FIG. 5 and the second posture shown in FIG. 6 by rotating around the rotation shaft 295.
- the restricting member 290 opens outward in the z-axis direction, and the restricting portion 291 is in the retracted position. Therefore, the restriction part 291 does not become an obstacle when the FOUP 6 is placed on the bottom part 23.
- the restricting member 290 is closed inward in the z-axis direction, and the restricting portion 291 is in the restricting position. Therefore, even when the FOUP 6 is inclined with respect to the side buffer 2 as shown in FIG. 8, the inclination of the FOUP 6 is limited.
- the regulating member 290 When the FOUP 6 is pulled upward by the transport vehicle 3, the regulating member 290 is shifted from the second posture to the first posture by the spring 296 due to the FOUP 6 being separated from the article receiving portion 292. Therefore, the regulation unit 291 does not interfere with the FOUP 6 that is being lifted. As described above, the restricting member 290 limits the inclination of the FOUP 6 but does not limit the vertical movement of the FOUP 6.
- Second Embodiment A side buffer according to a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
- the side buffer according to the second embodiment has the same configuration as the side buffer 2 of the first embodiment, except that a weight 297 is provided as an urging portion instead of the spring 296. Therefore, description and illustration of the members that have already been described are omitted.
- the side buffer falling prevention mechanism 298 includes a weight 297.
- the weight 297 is fixed to the outer surface of the U-shaped bottom of the regulating member 290. That is, the weight 297 is fixed to the outer surface of the link portion 293.
- the weight 297 may be formed integrally with the regulating member 290.
- the front regulating member 290 is inclined to the front panel 251 by the weight 297, and the rear regulating member 290 is moved by the weight 297 to the rear panel 252. Lean to.
- the restricting portion 291 is disposed at the retracted position. That is, the center of gravity of the fall prevention mechanism 298 (the regulating member 290 and the weight 297) is set so that the regulating member 290 is biased to the retracted position.
- the FOUP when the FOUP is placed on the side buffer, the FOUP is lowered from directly above the side buffer. As a result, the article receiving portion 292 is pushed down to the FOUP 6.
- the restricting member 290 rotates about the rotation shaft 295, the restricting portion 291 moves to the restricting position.
- the restricting portion 291, the article receiving portion 292, and the link portion 293 are integrally included in the restricting member 290.
- the restricting portion 291, the article receiving portion 292, and the link portion 293 may be separate members that can be separated from each other.
- the front panel 251 and the rear panel 252 limit the movement of the restricting portion 291 when the FOUP 6 is not placed.
- other members that restrict the movement of the restricting portion 291 may be provided, or other members that restrict the force of the spring 296 (biasing portion) may be provided.
- the regulating member 290 and the rotating shaft 295 are separate members. However, the regulating member 290 and the rotating shaft 295 may be integrally formed. Further, when the restricting portion 291 is a member that can be separated from the article receiving portion 292 and the link portion 293, the rotating shaft 265 may be attached to the restricting portion 291, and the restricting portion 291 and the rotating shaft 265 are integrated. It may be formed.
- the bottom of the FOUP 6 is mainly supported by the bottom 23 of the frame member 20.
- the bottom 23 of the frame member 20 may be omitted if the size and strength of the article receiver 292 are appropriately set so that the article receiver 292 can support the bottom of the article. That is, the article receiving unit may also serve as the placement unit.
- the control part 291 is arrange
- the article receiver 292 is arranged so that the vicinity of both ends of the FOUP 6 in the x-axis direction (second direction) is placed on the article receiver 292.
- the x axis is orthogonal to the z axis.
- the configuration of these embodiments is as follows: “When the regulating part is located on both sides of the article in the first direction and the article is placed on the placing part, the article receiving part intersects the first direction. It is only an example of a configuration in which “the vicinity of the end of the article in two directions is arranged on the article receiving part”. That is, the second direction need not be orthogonal to the first direction.
- the article receiving portion does not have to be arranged so that both ends of the article are placed on the article receiving portion, and may be arranged so that only the vicinity of one end of the article is placed.
- the present invention is applicable to a mounting table and a transport vehicle system.

Abstract
