- the link mechanism comprises an arm 14 and a rod 15 and a joint, respectively. Although the arm 14 and the rod 15 are connected by a joint, the joint is not shown in FIGS. 1 to 6. The bent portion between the arm 14 and the rod 15 corresponds to a joint.
- the arm 14 is attached to the fixed plate 12 so as to pivot in a unique plane about one unique axis.
- the rod 15 and the arm 14 are coupled by a joint (bearing) that freely pivots in the space, such as a ball joint. Further, the rod 15 and the movable plate 13 are coupled by a bearing such as a ball joint which freely pivots in the space. Each arm 14 and rod 15 can be changed in position and attitude in the space while being restrained in position and attitude by the movable plate 13.
- the position and attitude of the movable plate 13 are controlled by controlling the rotational position of the arm 14 with a drive source 16 such as a motor in the fixed plate 12.
- a drive source 16 such as a motor in the fixed plate 12.
- each link mechanism is provided with the drive source 16.
- a drive source 16 is provided for each set of arms 14 and rods 15, and in this parallel link robot 10, six drive sources 16 are present. The number of drive sources 16 may be three depending on the configuration.

- the power supply unit 101 includes a power system power supply unit that supplies power to the drive source 16 and the brake 18, and a signal system power supply unit that supplies power to the detection unit 41 and the like.
- the storage unit 103 is a processing unit that stores an operation state of the movable plate 13 moved by a worker's hand or the like as operation information by receiving signals from joints or an encoder provided in the drive source 16. .
- the control unit 104 is a processing unit that controls the drive source 16 based on the operation information stored in the storage unit 103 to operate the mechanical unit of the parallel link robot 10.
- the parallel link robot 10 further includes a suspension unit 17 by connecting the fixed plate 12 and the movable plate 13.
- the suspension means 17 applies a force against gravity to the movable plate 13 by expansion and contraction of the suspension means 17.
- the suspension means 17 comprises a constant load spring and a wire.
- the suspension means 17 has, at one end thereof, a hook 17a as an example of a second engaging portion that is detachable from the hook fixing portion 13a as an example of the first engaging portion provided on the movable plate 13.
- the suspension means 17 is set so that the movable plate 13 is slightly pulled vertically upward through the wire by the biasing force of the constant load spring.
- the suspension means 17 causes the wire to be unrolled or wound by the constant load spring, thereby always moving The plate 13 can be held hollow.
- “to slightly pull vertically upward” means that the weight of the movable plate 13 is apparently zero due to the biasing force of the constant load spring, or the weight of the movable plate 13 is apparently reduced. .
- the fixed plate 12 and the movable plate 13 may always be connected regardless of teaching.
- the hook 17a for attaching and detaching the suspension means 17 to the movable plate 13 is not necessary, and the suspension means 17 is directly fixed to the hook fixing portion 13a.
- the suspension means 17 can not be removed at the time of operation, but the possibility of detachment of the hook 17a in an unexpected situation is reduced. Therefore, when fixed directly, hollow holding of the movable plate 13 by the suspension means 17 becomes more stable.
- the internal mechanism of the suspension means 17 may be a combination of a pulley and a weight (balance weight) as well as a structure with a constant load spring.
- the movable plate 13 can be moved by a light hand with a light force even when the drive source 16 on the fixed plate 12 side is powered off (non-driven state). It can. This is because the movable plate 13 is suspended from the fixed plate 12 by the suspension means 17.
- the movable plate 13 when the load applied to the movable plate 13 is 1 kg including the end effector, the movable plate 13 can be balanced in the vertical direction and can be held hollow by using a constant load spring which is pulled by a force of 1 kgf.
- the parallel link robot 10 according to the first embodiment enables hollow holding of the movable plate 13 by connecting the movable plate 13 to the fixed plate 12 using the suspension means 17 having a constant load spring or the like inside. Do. This makes it possible to manually move the movable plate up, down, front, back, left, and right with extremely light force while securing safety. Therefore, the parallel link robot 10 according to the first embodiment can intuitively perform subtle position and motion teaching, and anyone can easily perform teaching work.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view of a parallel link robot according to a second embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 4 is a schematic side view of the parallel link robot according to the second embodiment.
- the main part of the portion which can not be seen on the back side of the fixing plate as an example of the base is shown by a broken line.
- the arm and rod by the side of the back of a paper surface are abbreviate
- the parallel link robot 20 according to the second embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that the parallel link robot 20 is provided with a slide mechanism that allows the fulcrum at which the suspension means 17 is attached to the fixed plate 12 to move within the surface of the fixed plate 12.
- the slide mechanism 24 of the parallel link robot 10 according to the second embodiment includes the mover 21 attached to the suspension means 17 and the slide rail 22 in which the mover 21 slides in the direction of the arrow 25a (radius) in the fixed plate 12 surface. Is equipped.

- the slide mechanism 24 including the mover 21 and the slide rail 22 is rotatable about the rotation shaft 23 in the direction of the arrow 25 b.
- the slide mechanism 24 even when the movable plate 13 is moved in the horizontal plane by rotatably attaching the slide mechanism 24 to the fixed plate 12 with the rotation shaft 23 as a center in this manner, It is possible to move the mover 21 substantially vertically above the hook fixing portion 13a.
- the mechanism of the first embodiment described above is effective in preventing the movable plate 13 from hanging down vertically.
- a centripetal force acting on the movable plate 13 toward the central axis 26 of the fixed plate 12 acts.
- the mechanism of the second embodiment has the effect of suppressing this force with a simple configuration. This is because, as the movable plate 13 moves away from the central axis 26, the hook fixing portion 13a of the movable plate 13 also moves away from the central axis 26, and the mover 21 slides following the movement of the hook fixing portion 13a. It is because 22 rotates.
- the configuration of the second embodiment it is possible to suppress the force in the direction of the central axis 26 of the movable plate 13 which can not be handled by the configuration of the first embodiment described above, and to hold the movable plate 13 hollow. - the arm and rod by the side of the back of a paper surface are abbreviate
- the parallel link robot 30 of the third embodiment is the same as the above-described second embodiment in that the slide mechanism 24 in the above-described second embodiment includes the slide inclining mechanism 33 attached to the fixed plate 12 via the inclining mechanism. It differs from Form 2. As the mover 21 moves to the peripheral portion (outer edge portion) of the fixed plate 12 by the slide tilt mechanism 33, the distance between the mover 21 and the fixed plate 12 increases. Here, “the distance between the mover 21 and the fixed plate 12 is increased” means that the shortest distance between the mover 21 and the movable plate 13 is reduced.
- the slide tilt mechanism 33 is configured of a mover 21, a slide rail 22, a rotation shaft 23, a rotation member 31, and a spring 32.
- the rotation member 31 is a member that is integrated with the slide rail 22 and rotates around the rotation shaft 23 in the direction of the arrow 25 b.
- the spring 32 is a spring interposed between the slide rail 22 and the rotating member 31. As the mover 21 moves away from the vicinity of the rotary shaft 23, the spring 32 extends and the slide tilt mechanism 33 tilts.
- FIG. 7 is a view schematically showing a portion of the slide inclining mechanism 33, the movable plate 13 and the suspension means 17 of the third embodiment which is necessary for the explanation of this force relationship.
- Fd is a gravity generated on the movable plate 13
- Fs is a centripetal force generated on the movable plate 13
- T is a tension between the movable plate 13 and the suspension means 17.
- k is a spring multiplier of the spring 32
- r is a mounting distance of the spring 32 (a distance between the rotating shaft 23 and the spring 32)
- L is a distance from the rotating shaft 23 to the moving element 21
- ⁇ is a slide rail 22 and a rotating member It is an angle of 31 degrees.
- postures 34a, 34b, 34c and 34d changes in the posture of the suspension means 17 are referred to as postures 34a, 34b, 34c and 34d.
- the movable plate 13 changes the position to the left and right (at the position of the posture 34a or the posture 34c), the distance to the spring 32 becomes short. Therefore, the posture 34a changes to the posture 34b (or the posture 34c to the posture 34d), and the balance is settled.
- the movable plate 13 can be held in the hollow, so the force for driving the movable plate 13 can be small, and robot operation teaching can be easily performed. It becomes possible. That is, if the movable plate 13 is held hollow and can be moved with a slight force, it is possible to intuitively perform appropriate operation teaching while performing subtle force adjustments.
- the teaching position is appropriately recorded by reading an encoder signal or the like. In order to operate the movable plate 13 directly with a slight force, for example, the following methods 1 to 3 can be adopted as appropriate.
- a method 2 there is a method of using a low inertia moment type up to about 2 ⁇ 10 ⁇ 3 kg ⁇ m 2 as a motor for driving an arm.
- the driving force in the operation of the parallel link robot can be reduced, and a faster operation and a smaller motor can be realized.

Specifically, when the hook fixing portion 13a and the hook 17a are engaged, a closed circuit is formed by the rod 15, the movable plate 13, the suspension unit 17 and the detection unit 41. The detection means 41 detects that a current is flowing in the closed circuit, and detects that the hook fixing portion 13a and the hook 17a are engaged (in an engaged state). Conversely, if no current flows in the closed circuit, it is detected that the hook fixing portion 13a and the hook 17a are not engaged.
- a wire as an example of connection means for connection between the detection means 41 and the hook fixing portion 13a can be handled in the same manner as a normal parallel link robot by embedding it in the arm 14 and the rod 15.
