Claims (1)
- 前端面が開放した筒形のフードの後端に該フードの後端開口を塞ぐ後壁が設けられ、この後壁に、それぞれ端子を後方から挿入可能な複数の端子挿通孔が設けられた硬質樹脂製のコネクタハウジングと、該コネクタハウジングのフードの内部と外部に前記後壁を挟むように前側金型と後側金型を配し、前記後壁と前記前側金型の間に確保されたシール成形用キャビティに、前記後側金型に設けられたゲートからシリコーンゴム成形材料を注入することで、前記後壁の前面に一体に形成されたマットシールとから構成され、前記マットシールに、それぞれ前記コネクタハウジングの後壁の前記各端子挿通孔に連通する貫通孔が形成され、且つ、該各貫通孔の内周に、前記端子挿通孔及び前記貫通孔を通して前記コネクタハウジングの内部に挿入された端子から後方へ延びる電線の外周に密着する環状シールリップが形成されたマットシール付きコネクタハウジングであって、
前記コネクタハウジングの後壁の外面のうち、前記複数の端子挿通孔が形成された領域の外側に、複数の互いに離れたシリコーンゴム成形材料の入出口が設けられると共に、これらシリコーンゴム成形材料の入出口の更に外側における前記コネクタハウジングの後壁の外面上に、その内側の領域を包囲する環状リブが突設され、この環状リブの内側の領域を、前記シール成形用キャビティからオーバーフローした成形材料を溜める貯留空間とし、且つ、前記複数のシリコーンゴム成形材料の入出口のうちの少なくとも1つの入出口を前記シール成形用キャビティに対してシリコーンゴム成形材料を注入するゲート用の入出口とすると共に、他の入出口をオーバーフロー用の入出口として、前記マットシールが成形されているマットシール付きコネクタハウジング。
