Abstract
引っかかり防止用プロテクターなどの追加部品を必要とすることなく、作業者及び作業者の作業器具等が水位ホースに引っかからないようにした還元剤タンク構造を提供する。 内部に尿素水等の還元剤を収容する直方体状のタンク殻10を形成すると共に、タンク殻10の高さ方向に上下させて継手管21,22を設け、これら継手管21,22に互いに接続させてタンク内液を循環させて液位を表示する水位ホース2をタンク殻10の外側に沿って形成すると共に、水位ホース2側に沿ってタンク殻10を近接するように隆起させてなる。
Description
本発明は、自動車用排ガス浄化装置に用いられる還元剤タンク構造に関するものである。
一般に、還元剤タンクは排ガス浄化装置に設けられているもので、その一つに尿素水タンクがある。図3及び図4に示すように尿素水タンク1は箱状に形成され、上部の一端側に注入口7を設け、また上面11の略中央に各種配管を一括して装着したパイプアセンブリ3を取り付けている(例えば、特許文献1、2参照)。この尿素水タンク1は、例えばトラックなどの大型車両の車体フレーム下部側面に設置されている。なお、4は蓋パネルで、8はキャップである。
尿素水タンク1に尿素水を給水するときに、尿素水タンク1内の液面を作業者が確認できるように尿素水タンク1外側に水位ホース2を設けており、この水位ホース2は、尿素水タンク1内の液面を作業者が確認しやすいように斜めに傾斜して取り付けられている(図5参照)。
ところで、水位ホース2は、尿素水タンク1についている継手管21,22に固定されるため、図5から分かるように水位ホース2と尿素水タンク1との間に隙間Sができる。また作業者が確認し易いように、すなわち視認性確保のために車両外側に剥き出しとなるため、例えば作業者が車両の荷台に輸送物を積み降ろしする際、作業用ロープ等を水位ホース2に引っ掛ける可能性があり、その場合、水位ホース2が継手管21,22から抜けたり、壊れたりして尿素水が尿素水タンク1から漏れる虞がある。
このため、作業者及び作業者の作業器具等が水位ホース2に引っかからないように配慮する必要があり、例えば、水位ホース2の取付箇所に引っかかり防止用のプロテクターなどを設ける必要があった。
本発明は、かかる点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、引っかかり防止用プロテクターなどの追加部品を必要とすることなく、作業者及び作業者の作業器具等が水位ホースに引っかからないようにした還元剤タンク構造を提供することにある。
前記課題を解決するために本発明の還元剤タンク構造は、内部に尿素水等の還元剤を収容する直方体状のタンク殻を形成すると共に、該タンク殻の高さ方向に上下させて継手管を設け、これら継手管に互いに接続させてタンク内液を循環させて液位を表示する水位ホースをタンク殻の外側に沿って形成すると共に、該水位ホース側に沿ってタンク殻を近接するように隆起させてなることを特徴とする。
また、上記タンク殻の高さ方向に上下させてそれぞれ開孔部を形成すると共にこれら開孔部にタンク殻の外方に所定長さ延出されて継手管を設け、これら継手管に垂直に上記水位ホースを連結し、且つ該水位ホースに近接するようにタンク殻を一体的に隆起させるのが好ましい。
また、上記継手管はL字状に形成され、且つ上記継手管のホース取付部に水位ホースを係止する突起状の係止部が設けられているのが好ましい。
また、上記タンク殻は樹脂製であるのが好ましい。
本発明の還元剤タンク構造によれば、引っかかり防止用プロテクターなどの追加部品を必要とすることなく、作業者及び作業者の作業器具等が水位ホースに引っかからないようにすることができる。
本発明の好適な実施形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。
なお、従来例で示した部材と同等の機能を有する部材については同一の符号を付して説明する。また還元剤タンクとして尿素水タンクについて説明する。
図1に示すように、尿素水タンク1は、略直方体状に形成されたタンク殻10を有し、内部に尿素水を収容している。タンク殻10の前面12上部に尿素水の注入口7が設けられ、注入口7にキャップ8が取り付けられている。タンク殻10の上面11には各種配管を一括して挿入可能な開口(図示せず)を開設し、この開口に被着する蓋パネル4に配管組立部材としてパイプアセンブリ3をユニット化して取り付けている。尿素水タンク1は、成形自由度が比較的高い樹脂製で構成されている。
タンク殻10の高さ方向に上下させてそれぞれ開孔部5,6を形成し、これら開孔部5,6にタンク殻10の外方に所定長さ延出された継手管21,22を設けている。継手管21,22は水位ホース2を連結するためのものでL字状に形成され、タンク殻10に取り付けられる側にフランジ部27,28を形成しており、水位ホース2が取り付けられる側にホース取付部21a,22aが形成されている。継手管21,22には、内部を尿素水が通るL字状の通路23,24が形成されている。水位ホース2は、透明な樹脂等からなる。
ホース取付部21a,22aには、その先端部に突起状の係止部25,26が設けられており、ホース取付部21a,22aに水位ホース2を連結したとき、係止部25,26に水位ホース2が係止されて、水位ホース2がホース取付部21a,22aから簡単に外れないようになっている。このようにして水位ホース2はタンク殻10の外側に沿って垂直に取り付けられる。
タンク殻10内に収容されている尿素水の液位を作業者が確認しやすいように、例えば水位ホース2はタンク殻10の前面12左側であって、斜め後方に僅かに傾斜させた傾斜面13に取り付けられている(図1及び図2参照)。タンク殻10内の尿素水は、継手管22内の通路24を通って透明な水位ホース2に流入し、尿素水を循環させて液位を表示する。このため作業者はその液位を容易に確認することができる。
水位ホース2の取り付けられるタンク殻10の傾斜面13には、水位ホース2に面する部位を水位ホース2側に沿って隆起させている。すなわち、水位ホース2側に沿ってタンク殻10を近接するように凸形状に隆起させた突部14を設ける。この突部14は、水位ホース2に面する部位が突出するように断面矩形に形成されている。あるいは水位ホース2に向けて徐々に突出するように断面山形に形成してもよい。要するに突部14は、タンク殻10表面と水位ホース2との間の隙間Sが最小限の隙間となるように設定してあればよい。
尿素水タンク1は樹脂製であるため、成形自由度を利用して容易にタンク殻10に一体的に凸形状(突部14)を形成することができる。タンク殻10表面と水位ホース2との間の隙間Sが最小限の隙間となることにより、作業者が水位ホース2に引っかかるのを防止することができる。
従来の尿素水タンク1は、図4及び図5から分かるように突部14が形成されていないため、タンク殻10と水位ホース2との間に隙間Sが生じていた。
また樹脂の成形自由度を利用して、タンク殻10の側面15に凹み16を設けるなどして尿素水タンク1の剛性を高めることができ、また車載上の設置スペースの制約等を考慮して、尿素水タンク1を最適な形状とすることができる。
上記のごとく構成された水位ホース2を取り付けた尿素水タンク1を、トラックなどの大型車両の車体フレーム下部側面に設置する。尿素水タンク1の水位ホース2に面する部位には凸形状(突部14)が形成され、尿素水タンク1表面と水位ホース2との間の隙間Sが最小限の隙間となっているので、作業者が車両の荷台に輸送物を積み降ろしする際、作業用ロープ等が水位ホース2に引っかかるのを防止することができ、水位ホース2が継手管21,22から抜けたり、壊れたりして尿素水が尿素水タンク1から漏れることがない。
このように本発明によれば、内部に尿素水等の還元剤を収容する直方体状のタンク殻10を形成すると共に、タンク殻10の高さ方向に上下させて継手管21,22を設け、これら継手管21,22に互いに接続させてタンク内液を循環させて液位を表示する水位ホース2をタンク殻10の外側に沿って形成すると共に、水位ホース2側に沿ってタンク殻10を近接するように隆起させてなるので、隙間Sを最小限とすることができる。これにより、引っかかり防止プロテクターなどの追加部品が不要(部品点数小)になるなどの効果がある。

- 内部に尿素水等の還元剤を収容する直方体状のタンク殻を形成すると共に、該タンク殻の高さ方向に上下させて継手管を設け、これら継手管に互いに接続させてタンク内液を循環させて液位を表示する水位ホースをタンク殻の外側に沿って形成すると共に、該水位ホース側に沿ってタンク殻を近接するように隆起させてなる還元剤タンク構造。
- 上記タンク殻の高さ方向に上下させてそれぞれ開孔部を形成すると共にこれら開孔部にタンク殻の外方に所定長さ延出されて継手管を設け、これら継手管に垂直に上記水位ホースを連結し、且つ該水位ホースに近接するようにタンク殻を一体的に隆起させてなる請求項1記載の還元剤タンク構造。
- 上記継手管はL字状に形成され、且つ上記継手管のホース取付部に水位ホースを係止する突起状の係止部が設けられている請求項1又は2に記載の還元剤タンク構造。
- 上記タンク殻は樹脂製である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の還元剤タンク構造。
