Definitions
- Embodiments of the present invention relate to a fault location method and system for a transmission system.
- fault location is based on the condition that the fault point voltage seen from both ends of the section to be standardized is equal, and the impedance is calculated from the current and voltage flowing through the transmission line, so that the accident is detected from the end of the section to be standardized.
- the distance to the point is specified.
- the fault location accuracy of the transmission system has a significant effect on the recovery time. For this reason, in the fault location technique for power transmission systems, improvement of the localization accuracy is always required.
- FIG. 8 (a) is a circuit diagram of a transmission line that is a target for orientation, and (b) is a voltage distribution diagram in the length direction of the transmission line.
- the line length y which has the power transmission line constant Z (vector amount) per unit length is set to the power transmission line 1 which has A terminal and B terminal.
- the accident voltage at the A terminal is V A
- the current is I A
- the accident voltage V B at the B terminal
- the current is I B.
- the orientation distance x can be calculated by the following equation (2).
- the above equation (2) is an equation that holds for the voltage and current vector quantities at the A terminal and B terminal at both ends of the line length y. For this reason, in order to establish Formula (2), it is necessary to synchronize the current and voltage taken in by the A terminal and the B terminal, respectively. Conventionally, a method of synchronizing current and voltage at the A terminal and the B terminal using a sampling synchronization signal and a GPS signal has been proposed.
- the magnitude of the assumed error is not simply proportional to the orientation distance, and there may be cases where both are not proportional at all depending on the state of the accident.
- a method for deriving an assumed error value with the least error in terms of probability has been proposed.
- the expected error range also increases. That is, the assumed error is proportional to the orientation error even if it is not proportional to the orientation distance. Therefore, in power transmission systems that are easily affected by capacitance and charging current, it has been particularly required to reduce the orientation error itself without depending on the calculation of the assumed error. Moreover, in recent years, there are cases where it is desired to realize an accident point location system using simple calculation processing means such as a so-called embedded processor. For this reason, it tends to be required to reduce the difficulty level of the accident point location calculation process.

- this method from a basic equation of a distributed constant circuit equation using a hyperbola function, an equation simplified by quadratic approximation using an approximate equation of a hyperbola function or an equation simplified by dividing both sides by a hyperbola function Ask.

- equation (6) becomes equation (10).
- the initial solution x of the orientation distance is obtained using a predetermined initial value such as 0 or y / 2, and is used as the initial orientation result. Then, using this initial orientation result, recursive calculation for recalculating the orientation distance x is performed, and convergence determination is performed by several recursive calculations to obtain a final orientation result.

- Equation (4) and Equation (9) are applied to the b phase when the accident phase is the a phase, the influence of the error is large and the calculation becomes difficult. Therefore, as described in the flowchart of FIG. 3 above, the accident phase selection process (step 203) is required in the first embodiment.
- the mode conversion such as the positive phase amount of the symmetric coordinate method is performed (step 203A)
- the accident phase selection process is unnecessary.
- the mode conversion matrix of the positive phase amount of the symmetric coordinate method shown in the following equation (13) is applied.
- the following equation (14) is applied.
- the mode conversion of the voltage / current is performed by the orientation processing device 20, but as a modification, the mode is set on the input processing device 10 side as shown in the flowchart of FIG. You may make it perform conversion. That is, in the input processing device 10, the mode conversion processing step 105 for converting the voltage / current mode is performed after the processing step 103 for storing the voltage / current data.
- the orientation processing device 20 may directly obtain the orientation distance x by numerical calculation from the distributed constant circuit equation.
- the following equation (15) can be derived by dividing both sides of the basic equation (6) of the distributed constant circuit equation by the voltage / current distributed constant circuit at both ends by the hyperbolic function cosh ( ⁇ x). Further, the orientation distance x to the accident point in this case is expressed by the following equation (16). By performing numerical calculation using the voltage / current and the line constant according to the equation (16), the orientation distance x to the accident point can be obtained.
- the orientation distance x is obtained by direct numerical calculation rather than approximate calculation, in principle, the orientation error can be set to zero with respect to the effect of avoiding the influence of capacitance and charging current. it can. In addition, the calculation is facilitated to a practical level as compared with the case of obtaining the solution directly from the basic equation (6) of the distributed constant circuit equation. Therefore, it is possible to calculate the orientation distance x at a practical calculation level and with extremely high accuracy.

Abstract
