Definitions
- the present invention relates to a film optical waveguide housed in a sliding electronic device.
- sliding electronic devices such as mobile phones having a sliding mechanism
- the sliding electronic device has two housings slidably engaged with each other. By sliding the two casings in parallel with each other, the operation unit or the like is exposed or stored.
- the circuit board is built in each of the two housings of the sliding electronic device.
- the two circuit boards of the sliding electronic device are electrically connected to each other via a flexible cable including a conducting wire (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
- the flexible cable is bent and stored in the housing. Since the flexible cable is deformed in accordance with the sliding operation, the electrical connection is continued even during the sliding.
- the flexible cable of the slide type electronic device may be broken by long-term use.
- a slide-type electronic device has been conceived in which a guide surface that keeps the curvature of the bent portion of the flexible cable constant is provided in the housing to prevent breakage of the flexible cable (for example, see Patent Document 2).
- FIG. 14A shows the slide mechanism portion 8i in a state before the slide of the slide type electronic device.
- FIG. 14B shows the slide mechanism portion 8i in a state after the slide type electronic device is slid.
- the slide mechanism unit 8i of the slide-type electronic device includes a substrate 11 provided in the upper housing, a substrate 12 provided in the lower housing, transmission / reception modules 21 and 22, and a film light guide. And a waveguide 30i.

Description

コア層302の材料は、UV(Ultra Violet:紫外線)硬化樹脂であるものとする。

例えば、PHS(Personal Handyphone System)、PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)、ゲーム機等、他のスライド式電子機器を用いる構成としてもよい。
