Definitions
- the first base film is provided on the first surface via the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer
- the second optical film is provided on the second surface via the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
- the present invention relates to a roll raw material obtained by winding a film and a roll raw material manufacturing method.
- an optical display unit mounted on a liquid crystal display device or the like there is one having a configuration in which an optical sheet piece including an optical film such as a polarizing film is bonded to one side or both sides of a display substrate.
- a manufacturing method of such an optical display unit conventionally, from a raw roll formed by winding a sheet-like product in which a release film (first base film) is bonded to a belt-like optical sheet including an optical film, There is known a method including a step of manufacturing a single sheet product by feeding out the sheet product and sequentially cutting the sheet product along the width direction at intervals according to the size of the display substrate.
- the first base film is peeled from the manufactured sheet-like product to obtain an optical sheet piece having a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface, and the optical sheet piece is the first pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is bonded to the display substrate through the layer.
- the first base film is peeled off when the optical sheet piece is bonded to the display substrate, the first base film is relatively easily peeled off.
- Patent Document 1 a step of drawing a strip-shaped sheet-shaped product from the roll raw material and cutting the sheet-shaped product, and the cut sheet-shaped sheet product as a display substrate And the step of bonding to each other is performed on a continuous production line.
- the surface protective film is a second base film that is detachably bonded to the surface of the optical film via the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the second pressure-sensitive adhesive film is bonded to the display substrate after the optical sheet piece is bonded. It peels from an optical film with an agent layer.
- the second base film is peeled from the optical film after the optical sheet piece is bonded to the display substrate, the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is relatively easy to peel from the optical film.
- the first base film and the second base film are relatively easily peeled.
- a gap between each base film and the optical film is formed. There may be a deviation between these films due to the stress acting on the film. In such a case, a float arises between each base film and the optical film, which causes bubbles and wrinkles.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a roll raw material and a roll raw material manufacturing method that hardly cause a float between the base film and the optical film. Moreover, an object of this invention is to provide the roll original fabric and the roll original fabric manufacturing method which can improve the durability in a high temperature environment.
- the inventor of the present application suppresses floating between films by the relationship between the adhesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer interposed between the base film and the optical film and the direction in which the film is wound. I found that I can do it.
- the first roll of the roll according to the present invention is provided with a first base film on the first surface via a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and a second base film on the second surface via a second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
- a first base film on the first surface via a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer

- the first base film, the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the optical film, the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the second base film are wound so that they are laminated in this order from the outside.
- Spun roll stock can be provided.
- the stress acts in the contracting direction on the inner part, and the stress acts on the outer part in the extending direction.
- the interface between the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the optical film, in which the stress acts in the contracting direction is less likely to float at the interface between the first base film and the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in which the stress acts in the extending direction. The float tends to occur.
- the adhesive force B at the interface on the optical film side is larger than the adhesive force A at the interface on the first base film side of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the first base film And the optical film can be made less likely to be lifted.
- the first base film, the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the optical film, the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the second base film each shrink itself, so that the second base material positioned inside A greater stress acts on the film in the shrinking direction, and the float is more likely to occur between the second base film and the optical film.
- the adhesive strengths C and D of the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are set larger than the adhesive strength A at the interface of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the first base film side, and the adhesive strength is large.
- the roll material according to the second aspect of the present invention is characterized in that at least one of the first base film and the second base film is made of a polyester polymer.
- At least one of the first base film and the second base film can be formed from a polyester polymer that is more preferable in terms of cost, handling properties, transparency, and the like.
- the polyester-based polymer is a material of the first base film or the second base film from the viewpoint that it is difficult to cause a defect (so-called fish eye) caused by incorporation of undissolved and deteriorated materials into the film. Is more preferable.
- the roll material according to the third aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the polyester polymer is polyethylene terephthalate.
- At least one of the first base film and the second base film can be formed from polyethylene terephthalate which is particularly preferable from the viewpoint of cost and handling properties.
- the roll original fabric according to the fourth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the first base film and the second base film are formed of the same material.
- the base film and the optical material in the roll raw material formed by winding the optical film provided with the first base film and the second base film formed of the same material on each surface It is possible to make it difficult for floating to occur between the film and the durability under a high temperature environment.
- the first base film is provided on the first surface via the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer
- the second base is provided on the second surface via the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
- the adhesive force D at the interface on the base film side satisfies the relationship of A ⁇ B and A ⁇ C ⁇ D, the first base film is outside, and the second base film is inside As shown in FIG.
- the adhesive force B at the interface on the optical film side is set larger than the adhesive force A at the interface on the first base film side of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the second adhesive is higher than the adhesive force A.
- the adhesive strength C and D of the agent layer large and winding the optical film with the second base film side having the large adhesive strength as the inner side, it is difficult for the base film and the optical film to float.
- the durability under a high temperature environment can be improved.
