Description
また、箱の四隅部にコーナ柱を設けた梱包用段ボール箱は、該箱内に製品を収容するためのものであり、その形状が大きくなってしまうことに加えて、箱内に製品を出し入れする手間も掛かるため、やはりコストや作業性の点で課題があった。
本発明の包装箱の製造方法は、1枚の段ボールシートを抜き加工して、矩形の底板と、前記底板の各辺から延びる4つの側板と、前記4つの側板のうちの対向する2つの側板の前記底板側の両端から延び、前記側板の幅W1より狭い幅W2の延長部と、を有した箱基板を形成し、前記各延長部を内側に巻き込んで4つの枠柱を形成し、前記各側板を折り曲げて箱体を形成し、前記4つの枠柱を前記箱体の四隅に配置して前記側板と結合する方法である。
本発明の包装箱の製造方法は、抜き加工した1枚の段ボールシートを折り曲げるだけの作業で、側板の高さより低い高さの枠柱を四隅に有し、圧縮強度に優れた箱体を形成できる。また、枠柱を上記箱体の側板と結合するため、包装箱の圧縮強度がより増大する。
以下、図を参照しながら本発明の実施の形態を説明する。図1は本発明の実施の形態1に係る梱包箱20を展開した状態の展開平面図、図2は図1の展開図に係る梱包箱20の完成状態の斜視図である。
実施の形態1の梱包箱は1枚の段ボールシートを折り曲げて作られる。図1は1枚の段ボールシートを抜き加工した折り曲げ前の箱基板である。この箱基板は、矩形の底板1を中心として、底板1の一方の対向端縁から一対の側板2が、他方の対向端縁から一対の側板3が、それぞれ延長されて形成されている。そして、底板1と側板2または側板3との境界部には、それぞれ折り目7が形成されている。なお、側板2と側板3の底板1からの幅W1は必ずしも同じにする必要はないが、通常は同一とする。
さらに、側板2の両端部に穴10、延長部4の両端部に穴11、側板3の両端部に穴12を設けた構成になっている。これらの穴は、箱基板が箱体に組み立てられると、穴10と穴11が、また穴11と穴12が、それぞれ貫通穴を形成するようになっている。
次に、側板2に設けられた穴10と、延長部4に設けられた穴11とを重ねて貫通穴を形成する。また、側板3に設けられた穴12と、延長部4に設けられた穴11とを重ねて貫通穴を形成する。そして、それらの貫通穴に、結合部材16を挿入して、側板2と枠柱14、および側板3と枠柱14とを結合して、側板2,3と枠柱14が一体になるように固定する。結合部材16は樹脂や金属から形成した、例えばボルト・ナット、あるいはリベットのような締結具とすることができる。以上により、実施の形態1に係る梱包箱20が完成する。
複数段に積まれた梱包箱20付き製品30の位置ずれを直す際には、上段に積まれた箱の底部に配置したパレット25などに、人やフォークリフトによる力を横方向に与えて行う。このとき、下段に配置された製品30の天面31に配置された梱包箱20の側板先端部17が対応する製品30の側面32に係合する。そしてこの係合により、下段に位置する梱包箱20が対応する製品30に対し位置ずれを起こすのが防止される。また、この側板先端部17により、並置した製品30,35の側面同士の直接接触も回避されるため、製品側面32,37の保護も図れる。
図6は本発明の実施の形態2に係る梱包箱およびその使用態様を示す例示図である。図6に示すように、この梱包箱20は、枠柱14の内部に、枠柱14の強度を高めるための支持材19が充填されている。支持材19の充填は、枠柱14を形成する際に支持材19を内包させて延長部4を巻き込む方法や、枠柱14を形成した後に枠柱14の内部に支持材19を挿入する方法がある。支持材19には、樹脂や木材が適している。これによれば、段ボールシートより形成された枠柱14の圧縮強度に支持体19の圧縮強度が加わるので、実施の形態1で説明した梱包箱20の効果をさらに向上させることができる。
図7は本発明の実施の形態3に係る梱包箱を示す斜視図である。図7に示すように、この梱包箱20は、側板2の延長部4を内側に2重またはそれ以上に巻き込んで、枠柱を多重のシートからなる多重枠柱14Aとしている。この多重枠柱14Aは、実施の形態1の枠柱14より圧縮強度が増大するので、実施の形態1で説明した梱包箱20の効果をさらに向上させることができる。
(1)抜き加工した1枚の段ボールシートを折り曲げるだけの作業で、周囲の側板2,3より低い高さの枠柱14を四隅に有した梱包箱20用の箱体が形成できる。
(2)枠柱14を箱体の側板2,3に結合したので、梱包箱20の圧縮強度が増大し、製品の保護、安全性、耐久性の点で大きく改善され、より多くの製品の重ね置きも可能となる。
(3)梱包箱20の一面が開放されているため、製品の上部または下部に容易に配置することができる。
(4)側板2,3の枠柱14より突出した側板先端部17が、製品の側面をカバーすることにより、梱包箱20の位置ずれ防止や、並置した製品の損傷低減も可能となる。
(5)梱包箱20は段ボールシートからできているので、梱包箱として寿命が来た場合には、再利用することや別の用途への再資源化も可能である。
Claims (10)
- 矩形の底板と、前記底板の周囲から立設し前記底板を取り囲む複数の側板とを有し、
前記複数の側板により形成された角部の四隅に、前記底板側から立設し前記側板の先端との間の途中まで延びた枠柱が形成されて前記側板と結合されており、
前記底板、前記側板、および前記枠柱が、一枚の段ボールシートから形成されていることを特徴とする梱包箱。 - 前記枠柱が前記角部を構成している隣り合う各側板にそれぞれ結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の梱包箱。
- 前記枠柱の内部に支持材が充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の梱包箱。
- 前記枠柱が前記段ボールシートを多重に巻いて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の梱包箱。
- 1枚の段ボールシートを抜き加工して、矩形の底板と、前記底板の各辺から延びる4つの側板と、前記4つの側板のうちの対向する2つの側板の前記底板側の両端から延び、前記側板の幅W1より狭い幅W2の延長部と、を有した箱基板を形成し、
前記各延長部を内側に巻き込んで4つの枠柱を形成し、
前記各側板を折り曲げて箱体を形成し、
前記4つの枠柱を前記箱体の四隅に配置して前記側板と結合する、ことを特徴とする梱包箱の製造方法。 - 前記側板と前記枠柱とを貫く貫通穴を形成しておき、前記貫通穴に結合部材を通して前記側板と前記枠柱とを結合することを特徴とする請求項5記載の梱包箱の製造方法。
- 前記側板と前記枠柱とをステープルで結合することを特徴とする請求項5記載の梱包箱の製造方法。
- 前記延長部を巻き込んで前記枠柱を形成する際に、支持材を内包させて前記延長部を巻き込むことを特徴とする請求項5~7のいずれかに記載の梱包箱の製造方法。
- 前記延長部を巻き込んで前記枠柱を形成した後に、前記枠柱の内部に支持材を挿入することを特徴とする請求項5~7のいずれかに記載の梱包箱の製造方法。
- 前記延長部を少なくとも2重に巻き込んで前記枠柱を形成することを特徴とする請求項5~7のいずれかに記載の梱包箱の製造方法。
