Abstract

La présente invention concerne un élément optique (133) destiné à transmettre un rayonnement de longueurs d'onde inférieure à 250 nm, en particulier de 193 nm, fait d'un matériau contenant de la spinelle magnésium-aluminium. Selon l'invention, rapporté au volume de l'élément optique (133), le rapport (V) de la teneur en aluminium de la spinelle magnésium-aluminium sur la teneur en magnétisme de la spinelle magnésium-aluminium, varie d'une valeur inférieure à 200 ppm, de préférence d'une valeur inférieure à 100 ppm, de préférence encore d'une valeur inférieure à 50 PPCM, et/ou prend une valeur allant de 2,0 à 2,2, de préférence de 2,02 à 2,10, de préférence encore de 2,04 à 2,08. L'invention a également pour objet un objectif de projection et une installation d'éclairage par projection comprenant un tel élément optique, ainsi qu'un procédé de réalisation d'une ébauche (1) utilisée pour la réalisation de l'élément optique (133).
