Definitions
- the present invention relates to a steel material determination device and a steel material determination method for determining the carbon content of a steel material.
- Patent Document 1 A steel material inspection apparatus aimed at solving such a problem is disclosed in Patent Document 1.
- the steel material inspection apparatus disclosed in Patent Literature 1 images a spark generated when a steel material is rubbed with a grinder or the like. And this steel material inspection apparatus sets the circular area
- the area of the bursting spark region in the circular region and the number of intersections where the outer periphery of the circular region intersects the bursting spark region depend on the number and size of the bursting sparks.
- the number and size of the burst sparks depend not only on the carbon content of the steel material but also on the pressing force of the grinder or the like against the steel material, the contact area between the steel material and the grinder, or the like. Therefore, the area of the bursting spark region that occupies the circular region and the number of intersections where the outer periphery of the circular region intersects the bursting spark region vary depending on the pressing force of the grinder or the like against the steel material, the contact area between the steel material and the grinder, etc. . Therefore, the steel material inspection apparatus disclosed in Patent Document 1 may not be able to accurately determine the carbon content of the steel material.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a steel material judgment device and a steel material judgment method capable of stably and accurately judging the carbon content of a steel material.
- the present invention includes an imaging unit that continuously images a spark generated when rubbing a steel material a plurality of times, a spark region from each captured image captured by the imaging unit, and three or more ends of the spark region.
- Detecting means for detecting a bursting spark region, and the total number of sparking regions and the total number of bursting sparking regions are obtained by adding together the number of sparking regions and the number of bursting sparking regions for each captured image detected by the detecting unit for all the captured images.
- a steel product comprising: a calculation unit that calculates and calculates a ratio of the total number of the bursting spark regions to the total number of the spark regions; and a determination unit that determines a carbon content of the steel material based on the ratio.
- a material judgment device is provided.
- the bursting spark has a branching due to the bursting, and thus has three or more ends.
- the streamline has two ends because it does not burst.
- the ratio of the number of bursting sparks to the number of sparks generated when rubbing the steel ie, (number of bursting sparks) + (number of streamlines)
- actual burst rate depends on carbon content.
- the actual burst rate does not depend on the pressing force of the grinder or the like against the steel material, the contact area between the steel material and the grinder or the like.
- the steel material determination apparatus determines the carbon content of the steel based on the ratio of the total number of bursting spark regions to the total number of sparking regions (hereinafter referred to as “burst rate” as appropriate). For this reason, the determination result is not influenced by the pressing force of the grinder or the like against the steel material, the contact area between the steel material and the grinder or the like. Therefore, the steel material quality determination apparatus according to the present invention can stably and accurately determine the carbon content of the steel material.
- the density of the spark region in the captured image captured by the imaging means is different between the central portion and the peripheral portion even within the same spark region, and also between the spark regions. For this reason, when detecting a spark region and a bursting spark region from a captured image by binarizing the captured image, if the threshold used for binarization is large, it is difficult to detect all the pixels constituting the spark region, It is difficult to accurately detect the spark region and the burst spark region. On the other hand, if the threshold value used for binarization is small, the density of the surrounding area of the spark area having a relatively high density also exceeds the threshold value, and it is difficult to accurately detect the spark area and the bursting spark area. is there.
- the detection unit sets a density equal to or higher than a first threshold value for one pixel line constituting each captured image captured by the imaging unit.
- a first detection step of detecting a spark candidate pixel group consisting of pixels that are continuous along the pixel line, and detecting a maximum density of pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group, and less than the maximum density A second threshold value that is present and exceeds the first threshold value, and binarizes pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group with a second threshold value having a predetermined ratio with respect to the detected maximum density
- a second detection step for detecting a spark pixel group from the pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group, and the first detection step and the second detection step for all pixel lines constituting each captured image A configuration that creates a binarized image representing the spark pixel group by executing and certifies the spark pixel group that is continuous in any direction in the binarized image as the spark region. It is said.
- concentration is very small in the area
- the first threshold value is set to a value equal to or lower than the density of the pixel with the lowest density among the pixels constituting the spark region (hereinafter, referred to as the minimum density as appropriate)
- the pixels that are continuous along the pixel line are All the pixels constituting the constructed spark region are detected as one spark candidate pixel group.
- the first threshold value is a value equal to or lower than the minimum density
- the density of the pixels constituting the peripheral area of the spark area may be equal to or higher than the first threshold value.
- the density of the pixels constituting the peripheral area is equal to or higher than the first threshold value, pixels having a density equal to or higher than the first threshold value continue over the spark area and the peripheral area.
- the pixels constituting one spark region and the pixels constituting the peripheral region are detected as one spark candidate pixel group.
- the second detection step is performed for each spark candidate pixel group, and the second threshold value used in the second detection step is less than the maximum density of the pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group, And it has a predetermined ratio with respect to the maximum density.
- the spark region has a higher concentration in the spark region and the surrounding region. For this reason, when the spark candidate pixel group is composed of pixels constituting one spark region and pixels constituting the peripheral region, the peripheral region is configured by appropriately setting the predetermined ratio described above. The pixel density can be less than the second threshold value.
- the detection means performs a thinning process on the binarized image, and identifies the spark pixel group continuous in any direction in the thinned binarized image as the spark region. And it is set as the structure which recognizes the spark area which has three or more edge parts among the recognized spark areas as the said bursting spark area.
- a spark region having three or more end portions is recognized as a bursting spark region. Since the end portion can be easily identified after the thinning process, according to the above-described preferred configuration, the bursting spark region can be easily identified.
- the steel material is carbon steel or alloy steel
- the determination unit determines that the steel material is alloy steel when the total number of the spark regions is less than a third threshold value, and When it is not less than the third threshold value, the steel material is determined to be carbon steel, and when it is determined to be carbon steel, the carbon content contained in the steel material is determined based on the ratio. Is done.
- the number of sparks generated when rubbing alloy steel is significantly smaller than the number of sparks generated when rubbing carbon steel. Therefore, according to said preferable structure, it can be determined whether steel materials are carbon steel or alloy steel.
- the present invention provides an imaging step of continuously capturing a spark generated when rubbing a steel material a plurality of times, a spark region from each captured image captured in the imaging step, and three or more end portions of the spark region Detecting a bursting spark region having a total number of sparking regions and the number of sparking spark regions for each captured image detected in the detection step for all captured images.
- the imaging step is to image a spark generated by rubbing the steel material with the friction member in a state where the friction member is pressed against the steel material with a force of 2.94N or more and 9.8N or less.
- the pressing force of the friction member such as a grinder against the steel material is 2.94 N or more, the number of sparks generated when the steel material is rubbed with the friction member is large, and the difference between the burst rate and the actual burst rate may be reduced. it can. Therefore, according to said preferable structure, the carbon content of steel materials can be determined accurately and stably. Further, when the pressing force of the friction member against the steel material is 9.8 N or less, the carbon content of the steel material can be determined without giving a deep scratch to the steel material.
- the carbon content of the steel material is determined based on the burst rate.
- the components constituting the steel material include alloy components composed of elements such as Cr, Mo, Ti, and Mn in addition to the carbon component. For this reason, when determining the quality of the steel material with higher accuracy, not only the carbon content of the steel material but also the alloy component content of the steel material is an important factor.
- the carbon content of the steel material can be accurately determined based on the burst rate.
- the alloy component content of the steel material cannot be accurately determined based on the burst rate.
- the determination means is based on the carbon content determined based on the ratio and the alloy component content of the steel material determined by a method not using a spark generated when the steel material is rubbed. It is set as the structure which determines the material of the said steel material.
- the alloy component content of the steel material is accurately determined as compared with the case where the alloy component content of the steel material is determined based on the ratio (rupture rate). Can do. Therefore, according to said preferable structure, the material of steel materials can be determined more accurately.
- a fluorescent X-ray analysis method can be mentioned as a method of not using the spark which arises when rubbing a steel material.
- the alloy component content of steel materials means content of the component of each element which comprises the alloy component of steel materials.
- the present invention can provide a steel material judgment device and a steel material judgment method capable of stably and accurately judging the carbon content of a steel material.

- the exposure time of the imaging means 2 is lengthened, and the peripheral speed of the grinder of the grinder 101 becomes higher. It is preferable to shorten it.
- the exposure time is 1/250 seconds.
- the imaging unit 2 performs imaging at 1/200 second intervals.
- the detecting means 3 detects a spark region and a bursting spark region from each captured image 6 captured by the image capturing means 2.
- the detection unit 3 has a density equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1 for a predetermined one pixel line X among the M pixel lines in each captured image 6 and is continuous along the pixel line X.
- a first detection step of detecting a spark candidate pixel group consisting of pixels is executed.
- the first detection step is performed as follows. First, as shown in FIG. 3, the detection unit 3 has a density that is higher than or equal to the first threshold value TH1 in order from the pixel X1 that constitutes one end of the pixel line X with respect to the pixels that constitute the pixel line X. Determine whether or not.
- the first threshold value TH1 is equal to or lower than the density values of all the pixels constituting the spark regions 71 to 73 and all the pixels constituting the peripheral regions 71 ′ to 73 ′, and other The value exceeds the density value of all the pixels constituting the region 70.
- the density of the pixel having the maximum density is slightly higher.
- a method of setting the density value indicating the density to the first threshold value TH1 can be mentioned.
- the detection unit 3 determines that the density of the pixels from the pixel X1 to the pixel Xa (excluding the pixel Xa) is less than the first threshold value TH1.
- the detection unit 3 determines that the density of the pixel Xa is equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1.
- the detection unit 3 further looks at the density of each pixel on the other side of the pixel line X, and the density becomes less than the first threshold value TH1 for the first time.
- a pixel Xc immediately before the pixel (which constitutes the other end of the peripheral region 71 ′) is detected.
- the detecting unit 3 detects a pixel group including all pixels (including the pixel Xa and the pixel Xc) from the pixel Xa to the pixel Xc as a spark candidate pixel group 81.
- the detection means 3 detects the spark candidate pixel group 81, it determines whether or not the density of the pixel on the other side of the pixel line X from the pixel Xc is equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1, and the spark candidate. Pixel group detection is performed. In the pixel line X, there are pixels constituting the spark regions 72 and 73 and the peripheral regions 72 'and 73', and the density of these pixels is not less than the first threshold value TH1. Therefore, the detection means 3 includes all pixels (including the pixel Xd and the pixel Xe) from the pixel Xd constituting one end of the peripheral region 72 ′ to the pixel Xe constituting the other end of the peripheral region 72 ′.
- spark candidate pixel group 82 are detected as a spark candidate pixel group 82, and all pixels (pixel Xf and pixel Xg) from the pixel Xf constituting one end of the peripheral region 73 ′ to the pixel Xg constituting the other end of the peripheral region 73 ′ are detected. Is included as a spark candidate pixel group 83.
- the detection means 3 executes the second detection step for each detected spark candidate pixel group 81-83.
- the detection means 3 detects the maximum density Cmax of the pixels having the maximum density constituting the spark candidate pixel group 81 as shown in FIG.
- the detection means 3 is a threshold value that is less than the detected maximum density Cmax and exceeds the first threshold value TH1, and is a second threshold value TH2 having a predetermined ratio with respect to the detected maximum density Cmax. Is calculated.
- the detection means 3 binarizes the pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group 81 with the calculated second threshold value TH2.
- the detection unit 3 detects, as the spark pixel group 91, a pixel group including pixels having a density equal to or higher than the second threshold value TH2 among the pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group 81. Similarly, the detection unit 3 executes the second detection step for the spark candidate pixel groups 82 and 83 to detect the spark pixel groups 92 and 93.
- the second detection step is performed for each spark candidate pixel group, and the second threshold value TH2 used in the second detection step is less than the maximum density of the pixels constituting each spark candidate pixel group, and , Having a predetermined ratio to the maximum density.
- the spark regions 71 to 73 have higher concentrations in the spark regions 71 to 73 and the peripheral regions 71 'to 73'. For this reason, in each spark candidate pixel group 81-83, the density of the pixels constituting the peripheral regions 71'-73 'can be less than the second threshold value TH2. Therefore, by executing the second detection step, it is possible to detect a spark pixel group composed of pixels constituting the spark region.
- the detection unit 3 creates a binarized image representing a spark pixel group for each captured image by executing the first detection step and the second detection step described above for all pixel lines constituting each captured image. To do. Subsequently, the detection unit 3 performs a thinning process on the binarized image of each captured image. By performing the thinning process, it becomes easy to accurately identify the end of the spark pixel group appearing in the binarized image.
- Detecting means 3 detects a spark region and a bursting spark region from the binarized image of each captured image subjected to the thinning process.
- a pixel constituting the spark pixel group is searched for the thinned binarized image.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating a part of the binarized image that has been subjected to the thinning process. In FIG. 5, it is assumed that the hatched pixels are pixels that are determined by the detection unit 3 as pixels constituting the spark image group. As shown in FIG.
- the detection means 3 when detecting means 3 detects a pixel (Xi, Yj) constituting a spark pixel group, the pixels constituting the spark pixel group for each of the eight surrounding pixels (Xi, Yj). It is determined whether or not. As shown in FIG. 5, the detection means 3 determines that the pixel (Xi + 1, Yj-1) among the surrounding eight pixels is a pixel constituting the spark pixel group. If it is determined whether or not each of the surrounding 8 pixels is a pixel constituting the spark pixel group, the detection means 3 determines that the pixel (Xi + 1, Yj) determined to constitute the spark pixel group among the surrounding 8 pixels.
- the detection unit 3 includes the pixel (Xi + 2, Yj-2), the pixel (Xi + 3, Yj-1), the pixel (Xi + 4, Yj), which are determined as the pixels constituting the spark pixel group.
- a spark pixel group is formed for each of the eight surrounding pixels. It is determined whether or not it is a pixel to be processed.
- the detection means 3 recognizes a pixel, in which only one pixel is determined as a pixel constituting the spark pixel group, as an end pixel.
- the detection means 3 is a pixel (pixel (Xi, Yj)) that constitutes a spark pixel group that continues in a direction parallel to the pixel line (left-right direction in FIG. 5), a direction orthogonal to the pixel line, or a direction that forms 45 ° with the pixel line , Pixel (Xi + 1, Yj-1), pixel (Xi + 2, Yj-2), pixel (Xi + 3, Yj-3), pixel (Xi + 4, Yj), pixel (Xi + 1, Yj) -3), an area composed of pixels (Xi, Yj-4) and pixels (Xi-1, Yj-5)) is recognized as a spark area.
- the detection unit 3 determines whether or not the other pixels of the binarized image are pixels constituting the spark pixel group, and configures the spark pixel group for all the pixels of the binarized image. When it is determined whether the pixel is a pixel, the detection of the spark region from the binarized image is terminated.
- Detecting means 3 recognizes, as a bursting spark region, a spark region having three or more pixels recognized as edge pixels among the recognized spark regions.
- the detection means 3 recognizes the interference spark as a rupture region. Therefore, in order to prevent an interference spark region from occurring, it is preferable that the exposure time of the image pickup means 2 is shorter as the peripheral speed of the grindstone of the grinder 101 becomes higher as described above.
- the calculation means 4 adds up the number of spark regions and bursting spark regions for each of the binarized images of each thinned image recognized (detected) by the detecting means 3 for all the picked-up images.
- the total number ⁇ and the total number ⁇ of the bursting spark regions are calculated, and the ratio of the total number ⁇ of the bursting spark regions to the total number ⁇ of the sparking regions (that is, the burst rate) is calculated.
- the calculating means 4 calculates the burst rate Z by the following formula (1).
- B Number of bursting spark regions certified in the binarized image of each thinned image
- L Imaging Number of images
- the determination means 5 determines that the steel material 102 is alloy steel when the total number ⁇ of the spark regions is less than the third threshold value, and determines that the steel material 102 is made of carbon steel when it is equal to or greater than the third threshold value. Judge that there is. Whether alloy steel or carbon steel can be determined based on the total number of spark regions ⁇ is because alloy steel has a significantly smaller number of sparks when rubbed with a grinder or the like than carbon steel. It is. In FIG.
- the alloy steel means steel that satisfies at least one of the following conditions 1 to 4.
- Condition 1 The Cr content is 0.5% or more.
- Condition 2 Ni content is 0.5% or more.
- Condition 3 Mo content is 0.25% or more.
- Condition 4 Cu content is 0.25% or more.
- Carbon steel means steel that does not satisfy all the conditions 1 to 4.
- the carbon content of the steel material 102 is determined based on the burst rate Z.
- the determination means 5 may determine the carbon content itself, or may determine the type of the steel material 102 (such as the composition of the steel material) based on the determined carbon content.
- the determination result may be displayed on the result display means 51 such as a monitor, or may be stored in the storage means 52 such as a hard disk or a memory.
- the carbon content of the steel material 102 is determined based on the burst rate Z, which is the ratio of the total number ⁇ of bursting spark regions to the total number ⁇ of spark regions.
- the actual burst rate which is the ratio of the number of bursting sparks to the number of sparks generated when rubbing the steel material 102 (that is, (number of bursting sparks) + (number of streamlines))
- the carbon content of the steel material 102 it does not depend on the pressing force of the grinder 101 against the steel material 102, the contact area between the steel material 102 and the grinder 101, or the like.
- the material determination apparatus 1 since the determination result of the material determination apparatus 1 is not influenced by the pressing force of the grinder 101 against the steel material 102, the contact area between the steel material 102 and the grinder 101, the material determination apparatus 1 is stable and accurate.
- the carbon content can be determined. Further, as shown in FIG. 7, when the carbon content is between 0.1 and 0.5%, the burst rate Z differs by about 10% for every 0.1% difference in the carbon content. Therefore, the material determination apparatus 1 can accurately determine the carbon content in units of 0.1% when the carbon content is between 0.1 and 0.5%.
- the execution method of the 1st detection step which the detection means 3 performs is not limited to said method.
- the first detection step can be performed as follows.
- the detection unit 3 detects one of the pixel lines X for pixels constituting one pixel line (here, the pixel line X shown in FIG. 2) constituting each captured image 6 captured by the imaging unit 2. It is determined whether or not the density is equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1 in order from the pixel X1 constituting the end. As shown in FIG. 3, when the detecting unit 3 determines that the density of the pixel Xa is equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1, the pixel Xa determined to be equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1, and the pixel line from the pixel Xa.
- a pixel group composed of pixels between the X side and a pixel X (a + k) separated by a predetermined number K of pixels is a spark candidate pixel.
- the detecting means 3 determines whether or not the density of the pixel existing on the other side of the pixel line X from the spark candidate pixel group 81 is equal to or higher than the first threshold value TH1, and detects the spark candidate pixel group. Do.
- the predetermined number of pixels K is set to the number of pixels corresponding to the size of the spark region in the pixel line X direction or a size slightly larger than the size, for example, as shown in FIG. It can be prevented that the pixels constituting the spark candidate pixel group 81 include the pixels constituting the spark region 71 and the pixels constituting the spark region 72. If the pixels constituting one spark candidate pixel group 81 include the pixels constituting the spark region 71 and the pixels constituting the spark region 72, the second threshold value of the spark region 71 having a high density is set. Since the value has a predetermined ratio with respect to the maximum density Cmax, the pixels constituting the spark region 72 may be less than the second threshold value TH2.
- the pixels constituting the spark region 72 cannot constitute the spark pixel group. Therefore, by setting the predetermined number of pixels K to the number of pixels corresponding to the size of the spark region in the pixel line X direction or a size slightly larger than the size, all the pixels constituting the spark region may form a spark pixel group. In other words, all the pixels constituting the spark region can be the pixels constituting the spark region detected by the detection means 3.
- the pressing force of the grinder 101 against the steel material 102 is preferably 2.94N or more and 9.8N or less.
- the pressing force is 2.94 N or more
- the number of sparks generated when the steel material 102 is rubbed with the grinder 101 is large, and the difference between the burst rate Z and the actual burst rate is reduced. be able to. Therefore, the carbon content of the steel material 102 can be determined accurately and stably.
- the material determination device 1 when the pressing force is 9.8 N or less, can determine the material of the steel material 102 without giving deep damage to the steel material 102.
- the portion that is rubbed by the grinder 101 of the steel material 102 is not the peripheral surface of the steel material 102 but the steel material 102 as shown in FIG. A thick part at the end in the axial direction is preferred.
- a layer so-called black skin material
- the black skin material is removed and the peripheral surface of the steel material 102 is rubbed.
- oil or the like may be applied to the peripheral surface of the steel material 102, and there is a problem that oil can be removed if the peripheral surface of the steel material 102 is rubbed.
- the components constituting the material of the steel material 102 include alloy components composed of elements such as Cr, Mo, Ti, and Mn in addition to the carbon component. For this reason, when determining the material of the steel material 102 with higher accuracy, not only the carbon content of the steel material 102 but also the alloy component content of the steel material 102 is an important factor. As described above, the carbon content of the steel material 102 can be accurately determined based on the burst rate Z. However, since the change in the burst rate Z is small with respect to the change in the alloy component content of the steel material 102, the alloy component content of the steel material 102 cannot be accurately determined based on the burst rate Z.
- the material determination apparatus 1 includes an X-ray fluorescence analyzer in addition to the imaging unit 2, the detection unit 3, the calculation unit 4, the determination unit 5, the result display unit 51, and the storage unit 52.
- the fluorescent X-ray analyzer is an apparatus that performs fluorescent X-ray analysis on the steel material 102. Since the configuration of the X-ray fluorescence analyzer is a known configuration, the description of the X-ray fluorescence analyzer is omitted here.
- the determination unit 5 determines the carbon content of the steel material 102 based on the burst rate Z, and the fluorescent X-rays of the steel material 102 Wait for analysis results to be entered.
- the determination unit 5 determines the alloy component content of the steel material 102 based on the input analysis result.
- the determination means 5 determines the material of the steel material 102 based on this alloy component content and carbon content.
- the alloy component of the steel material 102 can be accurately determined compared to the case of determining the alloy component content of the steel material 102 based on the burst rate Z.
- the content can be determined. Therefore, according to such a preferable configuration, the material of the steel material 102 can be determined with higher accuracy.
- the material of the steel material 102 determined to be alloy steel is determined as follows. May be determined. If the determination means 5 determines that the steel material 102 is alloy steel based on the burst rate Z as described above, the analysis result of the fluorescent X-ray analysis of the steel material 102 is input without determining the carbon content. Wait for When the fluorescent X-ray analysis is performed on the steel material 102 and the analysis result is input, the determination unit 5 determines the alloy component content of the steel material 102 based on the input analysis result. And the determination means 5 determines the material of the steel material 102 based on the determined alloy component content.
