Definitions
- the present invention relates to the technical field of a self-luminous sensor device capable of measuring, for example, blood flow velocity.
- this type of self-luminous sensor device there is a device that irradiates a living body with light such as laser light and calculates a blood flow velocity of the living body by a change in wavelength due to Doppler shift at the time of reflection or scattering (for example, (See Patent Documents 1 to 3).
- Patent Document 4 in an apparatus for measuring the concentration of a light-absorbing substance in a biological tissue using a pulse photometry technique, measurement accuracy is provided by providing light scatterers on the incident side and the outgoing side of light with respect to the biological tissue. A technique for improving the above has been proposed.
- the self-luminous sensor device there is a risk that the detected value such as the blood flow velocity of the living body may fluctuate due to the slight movement of the living body at the time of detection or the fluctuation of the pressure applied to the living body. There is a technical problem. For this reason, when using the self-luminous sensor device described above as, for example, a medical device, there is a possibility that the accuracy of the detection value such as the blood flow velocity of the living body is not sufficiently reliable.
- the present invention has been made in view of, for example, the above-described problems. For example, fluctuations in detection values due to a relative positional relationship between the self-luminous sensor device and the subject are reduced, and blood, for example, in the subject can be reduced. It is an object of the present invention to provide a self-luminous sensor device that can stably detect a predetermined type of information such as a flow velocity.
- a self-luminous sensor device of the present invention is provided with a substrate, an irradiation unit that is disposed on the substrate and irradiates a subject with light, and is disposed on the substrate and the irradiated light.
- a light receiving unit that detects light from the subject caused by the light, and the light emitted from the irradiation unit, disposed between at least one of the irradiation unit and the subject, and between the subject and the light receiving unit, and A light scattering unit that scatters at least one of the light from the subject.
- the self-luminous sensor device of the present invention at the time of detection, light such as laser light is irradiated, for example, onto a subject that is a part of a living body, for example, by an irradiation unit including a semiconductor laser. .
- the light from the subject resulting from the light irradiated on the subject is detected by a light receiving unit including a light receiving element, for example.
- light from the subject caused by the light irradiated on the subject means light reflected, scattered, diffracted, refracted, transmitted, Doppler shifted in the subject, and interference light due to those lights, It means light resulting from light irradiated on the subject.
- it Based on the light detected by the light receiving unit, it is possible to obtain predetermined information related to the subject, such as blood flow velocity.
- the light scattering portion is disposed between at least one of the irradiation portion and the subject and between the subject and the light receiving portion.
- the light scattering unit is made of a fibrous material such as a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric, and scatters at least one of light emitted from the irradiation unit and light from the subject.
- the light scattering unit is arranged between both the irradiation unit and the subject and between the subject and the light receiving unit, the light emitted from the irradiation unit is scattered by the light scattering unit and then is applied to the subject. Light from the subject that is irradiated and caused by the light applied to the subject is scattered by the light scattering unit and then detected by the light receiving unit.
- such a light scattering portion is disposed between at least one of the irradiation portion and the subject and between the subject and the light receiving portion.
- Light detected by the light receiving unit due to, for example, a relative positional relationship between the light receiving unit and the subject as compared with the case where the light receiving unit is not disposed between the subject and the light receiving unit.
- the fluctuation of the detected value can be reduced. Therefore, it is possible to stably detect predetermined types of information such as blood flow velocity in the subject based on the light detected by the light receiving unit. As a result, the reliability of the detection value detected by the self-luminous sensor device can be improved.
- the light-scattering unit disposed between at least one of the irradiation unit and the subject and between the subject and the light-receiving unit is provided. It is possible to reduce fluctuations in the detection value due to the relative positional relationship between the light emitting sensor device and the subject. Therefore, it is possible to stably detect a predetermined type of information such as blood flow velocity in the subject.
- the light scattering portion includes a fibrous substance.
- the light scattering portion is made of, for example, a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric. Therefore, the light scattering unit can suitably scatter at least one of the light emitted from the irradiation unit and the light from the subject. For example, the relative position between the self-luminous sensor device and the subject It is possible to reliably reduce the fluctuation of the detection value due to the deviation of the relationship. Furthermore, when the light scattering portion is made of, for example, a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric, a predetermined type of information such as a blood flow velocity in the subject, regardless of fluctuations in the strength with which the subject is pressed against the light scattering portion during measurement. Can be detected stably.

- the light scattering portion includes, for example, a foam such as a sponge (or a porous body having a plurality of continuous holes therein). Therefore, the light scattering unit can suitably scatter at least one of the light emitted from the irradiation unit and the light from the subject.
- the relative position between the self-luminous sensor device and the subject It is possible to reliably reduce the fluctuation of the detection value due to the deviation of the relationship.
- the light scattering portion is made of, for example, a sponge, a predetermined type of information such as blood flow velocity in the subject is stabilized regardless of fluctuations in the strength with which the subject is pressed against the light scattering portion during measurement. Can also be detected.
- the light scattering portion has a refractive index different from the refractive index of the transparent member in each of the transparent members capable of transmitting the at least one light.
- a plurality of scattering materials capable of scattering the at least one light are dispersed.
- At least one of the light emitted from the irradiation unit and the light from the subject can be suitably scattered by the light scattering unit.
- the light emitting sensor device and the subject can be scattered. It is possible to reliably reduce detection value fluctuations due to relative positional deviation.
- the light scattering unit further includes a front plate disposed on the front side where the subject is disposed with respect to the substrate so as to face the substrate. Is adhered to the front plate by an adhesive capable of transmitting at least one light.
- the front plate is, for example, from a light-shielding plate-like member in which an exit port for allowing light emitted from the irradiation unit and an entrance port for allowing light from the subject to pass are formed.
- the light scattering portion is disposed so as to cover the surface of the front plate on the subject side, and is adhered to the front plate with an adhesive. Therefore, for example, it can be prevented that the position of the light scattering portion in the light-emitting sensor device is shifted due to the subject coming into contact with the light scattering portion at the time of detection.
- the adhesive can transmit at least one of the light emitted from the irradiation unit and the light from the subject, it hardly or practically has no adverse effect on the light detected by the light receiving unit.
- the light scattering portion is bonded to the front plate with an adhesive means that the light scattering portion is bonded to the front plate itself with an adhesive. This also includes the case of being bonded to a protective plate provided on the upper surface of the front plate.
- the light-emitting sensor device further includes a light-shielding portion that is provided between the irradiation unit and the light-receiving unit on the substrate and shields light between the irradiation unit and the light-receiving unit.
- light directly emitted from the irradiation unit to the light receiving unit out of the light emitted from the irradiation unit (that is, light emitted from the irradiation unit and directed to the light receiving unit without being irradiated on the subject) ) Can be blocked. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the light detected by the light receiving unit from fluctuating due to the light traveling directly from the irradiation unit to the light receiving unit. Therefore, it is possible to detect a predetermined type of information such as blood flow velocity in the subject with higher accuracy.
- the irradiation unit and the light receiving unit are integrated on the substrate.
- the irradiating part and the light receiving part are integrated, the arrangement area of each can be reduced and the size can be further reduced.
- the range of use of the self-luminous sensor device can be expanded, for example, the self-luminous sensor device can be a portable type instead of a stationary type.
- the apparatus further includes a calculating unit that calculates a blood flow velocity related to the subject based on the detected light.
- the blood flow velocity of each blood vessel having a different depth from the skin surface can be measured by utilizing the fact that the penetrating power of light into a living body depends on the wavelength. Specifically, by irradiating the surface of the living body with light, the light penetrating inside is reflected or scattered by red blood cells flowing in the blood vessels, and the wavelength is changed by receiving a Doppler shift according to the moving speed of the red blood cells. On the other hand, light scattered or reflected by skin tissue or the like that can be regarded as immobile with respect to red blood cells reaches the light receiving unit without changing the wavelength. When these lights interfere, an optical beat signal corresponding to the Doppler shift amount is detected in the light receiving unit. By performing arithmetic processing such as frequency analysis on the optical beat signal by the calculation unit, it is possible to obtain the blood flow velocity flowing in the blood vessel.
- the irradiating unit includes a semiconductor laser that generates laser light as the light.
- the laser beam can be irradiated by applying a voltage so that a current higher than the laser oscillation threshold flows to the semiconductor laser of the irradiation unit.
- Laser light has the property that, for example, the penetrating power into a living body differs depending on the wavelength. By utilizing this property, measurement at various depths of the subject becomes possible.
- the self-luminous sensor device of the present invention includes a substrate, an irradiation unit, a light receiving unit, and a light scattering unit. Therefore, for example, fluctuations in the detection value due to a relative positional shift between the self-luminous sensor device and the subject are reduced, and predetermined types of information such as blood flow velocity in the subject can be detected with high accuracy. Is possible.

Or scattered. Doppler shift occurs in the light reflected or scattered by the red blood cells flowing in the blood vessels, and the wavelength of the light changes depending on the moving speed of the red blood cells. - FIG. 14 shows a deviation d from the laser diode 120 at the measurement point Q1 when the blood flow velocity of the fingertip 500 as an example of the subject is measured using the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment (see FIG. 13). ) And the signal intensity of the optical beat signal detected by the photodiode 160. In this measurement, towel-like fibers are used as the scatterer 200.
- the measurement point Q1 is the point of the fingertip 500 that is closest to the photodiode 160.
- the amount of deviation d is the amount of deviation of the measurement point Q1 from the laser diode 120 (more precisely, the difference between the measurement point Q1 and the portion where the light from the laser diode 120 is emitted when the sensor unit 100 is viewed from directly above.
- the distance g is a distance between the upper surface of the sensor unit main body 100a (that is, a part of the sensor unit 100 excluding the scatterer 200) and the measurement point Q1. Since the fingertip 500 is brought into contact with the scatterer 200 when measuring the blood flow velocity, the distance g substantially or completely matches the thickness of the scatterer 200.
- an arrow P3 conceptually indicates light emitted from the laser diode 120
- an arrow P4 conceptually indicates light incident on the photodiode 160.
- the data D1 is a deviation when the blood flow velocity is measured with the distance g between the upper surface of the sensor unit body 100a and the measurement point Q1 being 2 mm (in other words, the thickness of the scatterer 200 is 2 mm).
- the relationship between the quantity d and the signal intensity of the optical beat signal is shown.
- the data D2 is the amount of deviation d and light when the blood flow velocity is measured with the distance g between the upper surface of the sensor unit main body 100a and the measurement point Q1 being 8 mm (in other words, the thickness of the scatterer 200 is 8 mm).

- the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example is different from the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment in that the scatterer 200 is not provided, and the other points are generally the same as those of the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment. It is constituted similarly.
- the sensor unit of the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example corresponds to the sensor unit main body 100a of the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment.
- data E ⁇ b> 1 indicates that the distance g between the upper surface of the sensor unit of the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example and the measurement point Q ⁇ b> 1 is 0 mm (in other words, the fingertip 500 is The relationship between the shift amount d and the signal intensity of the optical beat signal when the blood flow velocity is measured (in contact with the upper surface of the sensor unit) is shown.
- the data E2 includes the deviation d and the signal intensity of the optical beat signal when the blood flow velocity is measured with the distance g between the upper surface of the sensor part of the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example and the measurement point Q1 as 1 mm. Shows the relationship.
- the data E3 includes the deviation d and the signal intensity of the optical beat signal when the blood flow velocity is measured with the distance g between the upper surface of the sensor part of the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example and the measurement point Q1 being 2 mm. Shows the relationship.
- the signal intensity of the detected optical beat signal rapidly decreases as the shift amount d increases. That is, if the positional relationship between the fingertip 500 and the sensor unit varies, there is a possibility that the blood flow velocity cannot be stably measured.
- the signal intensity of the detected optical beat signal is compared with that of the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example. Even if the shift amount d increases, it does not easily decrease. In other words, the range of the deviation d in which the blood flow velocity can be measured is wider than that of the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example. That is, as shown in the data E1, E2, and E3 of FIG. 15, in the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example, the range of the deviation amount d in which the blood flow velocity can be measured is at most about 1 mm or less. On the other hand, as shown in the data D1 of FIG.
- the range of the deviation d in which the blood flow velocity can be measured is about 2 mm or less. Further, as shown in the data D2 of FIG. 14, when the distance g is 8 mm, that is, when the thickness of the scatterer 200 is 8 mm, the detected optical beat is detected even if the shift amount d is 5 mm, for example. The decrease in the signal strength of the signal is small, and the blood flow velocity can be measured well.
- the blood flow sensor device is caused by a relative positional shift between the sensor unit 100 and the fingertip 500 that is the subject.
- the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment has a wider range of the deviation amount d from which an appropriate detection value can be obtained as compared with the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example (that is, appropriate at the time of measurement).
- the allowable range of the deviation amount d allowed to obtain a correct detection value is wide).
- the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment and the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example differ in whether or not the scatterer 200 is provided, and the other points are configured in substantially the same manner.
- the effect that the fluctuation of the signal intensity of the optical beat signal due to such a shift in the relative positional relationship between the sensor unit and the subject can be reduced is that the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment scatters. This is obtained because the body 200 is provided.
- the sensor unit 100 since the sensor unit 100 includes the scatterer 200, it is possible to stably detect the blood flow velocity at the fingertip 500 based on the optical beat signal. It becomes. As a result, the reliability of the detection value detected by the blood flow sensor device can be increased.
- FIG. 14 although shown about the case where a towel-like fiber is used as a scatterer, this inventor has obtained the same measurement result also about the case where a nonwoven fabric and sponge are used as a scatterer.
- the sensor unit 100 since the sensor unit 100 includes the scatterer 200, the signal intensity of the detected optical beat signal is increased by applying a relatively large pressure to the subject. It is also possible to suppress or prevent the decrease.
- FIG. 16 shows the case where the signal intensity of the optical beat signal detected by the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment is lightly pressed against the scatterer and the case where the sample is pressed strongly against the scatterer. It is a graph which compares and shows.
- FIG. 17 shows the signal intensity of the optical beat signal detected by the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example when the subject is lightly pressed against the upper surface of the sensor unit and when the subject is pressed stronger against the upper surface of the sensor unit. It is a graph which compares and shows. 16 and 17, the horizontal axis is the time axis, and the vertical axis is the intensity of the output signal from the photodiode (PD output).
- the signal intensity of the optical beat signal means the amplitude of the optical beat signal.
- FIG. 16 shows the measurement of blood flow velocity with a blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment while lightly pressing a fingertip, which is an example of a subject, against the scatterer 200 in a period T1, and a period T2 following the period T1.
- 4 shows the change over time in the signal intensity of the detected optical beat signal when the blood flow velocity is measured in a state where the fingertip, which is an example of the subject, is strongly pressed against the scatterer 200.
- towel-like fibers are used as the scatterer 200.
- the optical beat signal is obtained when the fingertip is lightly pressed against the scatterer 200 and when the fingertip is pressed strongly against the scatterer 200.
- the signal strength of is almost unchanged (that is, almost the same).
- FIG. 17 shows a blood flow sensor device according to a comparative example in which a fingertip, which is an example of a subject, is placed in a sensor unit (more specifically, a protective plate made of a resin substrate, a glass substrate, or the like, during a period T3.
- a sensor unit more specifically, a protective plate made of a resin substrate, a glass substrate, or the like.
- the blood flow velocity is measured in a state where it is lightly pressed against the upper surface of the sensor, and in the period T4 following the period T3, the blood flow velocity is measured in a state where the fingertip, which is an example of the subject, is strongly pressed against the sensor unit. Shows the change over time in the signal intensity of the detected optical beat signal.
- the blood flow sensor device As shown in FIG. 17, according to the blood flow sensor device according to the comparative example, when the fingertip is pressed strongly against the sensor unit, the light is compared with the case where the fingertip is pressed lightly against the sensor unit. The signal strength of the beat signal is reduced.
- One of the causes of this phenomenon is that a relatively large pressure is applied to the fingertip when the fingertip is strongly pressed against the sensor unit, and the capillaries on the fingertip become obstructed.
- the blood flow sensor device includes the scatterer 200 made of towel-like fibers in this measurement, it is possible to prevent a relatively large pressure from being applied to the fingertip that is an example of the subject. It is possible to suppress the capillaries of the fingertips from becoming obstructive. That is, according to the blood flow sensor device according to the present embodiment, for example, the scatterer 200 made of towel-like fibers that is softer or has higher elasticity than the protective plate 195 and the front plate 190 made of, for example, a resin substrate or a glass substrate. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a relatively large pressure from being applied to the subject. Therefore, as shown in FIG.
- the signal intensity of the optical beat signal hardly changes between when the fingertip is lightly pressed against the scatterer 200 and when the fingertip is pressed strongly against the scatterer 200. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce or prevent the measured blood flow velocity from fluctuating due to fluctuations in strength with which the fingertip is pressed against the upper surface of the sensor unit 100 (in this embodiment, the upper surface of the scatterer 200). it can. As a result, the blood flow velocity can be stably measured. In addition, the effect that the blood flow velocity can be stably measured regardless of the fluctuation of the strength with which the subject is pressed against the sensor unit is obtained only when the scatterer 200 is made of towel-like fibers. Instead, the scatterer 200 can be obtained when it is made of another fibrous material or sponge and has a softer or higher elasticity than the protective plate or the front plate.
- the detection value that is, the relative positional relationship between the blood flow sensor device and the subject
- the blood flow velocity in the subject can be detected stably. Furthermore, it is possible to reduce fluctuations in the measured blood flow velocity due to fluctuations in strength with which the subject is pressed against the upper surface of the sensor unit.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments.
- the self-luminous sensor device with such changes is also included in the technical scope of the present invention without departing from the spirit or concept of the invention that can be read from the claims and the entire specification. It is.
- the self-luminous sensor device according to the present invention can be used for, for example, a blood flow sensor device capable of measuring a blood flow velocity and the like.
