Abstract

Ein Gasbrenner, welcher sich besonders für die Flammenbehandlung von grossen Substratoberflächen eignet, z. Bsp. zur Beschichtung solcher Oberflächen in einem Verbrennungs-chemischen Gasphasenabscheidungsprozess (CCVD oder combustion chemical vapour deposition), weist einen Brennerkörper (1) mit einem Gaszuführungsanschluss (2) und einer Düsenplatte (3) auf, wobei der Brennerkörper (1) und die Düsenplatte (3) zusammen ein Gasplenum bilden, und die Düsenplatte (3) einen perforierten Wandbereiche des Gasplenums bildet. Die Düsenplatte (3) weist eine grosse Anzahl von Düsen (4) auf, die sich von einer Plenumseite (5) zu einer Flammenseite (6) der Düsenplatte (3) erstrekken, und sie besteht aus einer Mehrzahl von Blechen (10), die in einem Stapel angeordnet sind und im Wesentlichen senkrecht oder im Wesentlichen parallel zur Düsenrichtung verlaufen. Die Bleche (10) weisen durchgehende Öffnungen auf, wobei die durchgehenden Öffnungen aller Bleche mindestens teilweise aufeinander ausgerichtet sind, oder sie sind kammartig geformt. Die Düsenplatte (3) des Brenners kann mit wenig Aufwand hergestellt werden, z. Bsp. aus handelsüblichem, metallenem Lochblech, unabhängig von der Brennergrösse und dem notwendigen Verhältnis zwischen Läge und Durchmesser der Düsen. Sie kann auch einfach an verschiedene Bedürfnisse bezüglich der Düsengrösse oder - dichte angepasst werden, und sie kann mit wenig Aufwand gereinigt werden.
