Abstract
吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200°C以下の第1NOx 吸着材20を排ガス上流側に配置し、吸着したNOxの脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200°Cを超える第2NOx 吸着材21を第1NOx 吸着材20の排ガス下流側に配置した。低温域ではNOxは第1NOx 吸着材20に吸着され、高温域で第1NOx 吸着材20から脱離したNOx は第2NOx吸着材21に再び吸着される。したがって低温域から高温域まで効率よくNOx を吸着でき、その排ガス下流側に配置されるNOx還元触媒からのNOx 排出量が低減される。
Description
本発明は、自動車からの排ガス中のNOx を低温域から高温域まで効率よく吸着し、その下流側に配置されるNOx還元触媒におけるNOx 浄化率が格段に向上するNOx 吸着装置と、そのNOx 吸着装置を用いた排ガス浄化装置に関する。
自動車のリーンバーンエンジンからの排ガス中に含まれるNOx を還元浄化する触媒として、リーンNOx触媒、NOx 吸蔵還元触媒、NH3 脱硝触媒、NOx 選択還元触媒などが知られている。このうちリーンNOx触媒は主としてディーゼルエンジンの排ガス中で用いられ、排ガス中に添加された軽油などの還元剤によってNOx を還元浄化する。
NOx 吸蔵還元触媒は、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属などのNOx吸蔵材を用い、リーン雰囲気でNOx 吸蔵材にNOx を吸蔵させ、間欠的にリッチ雰囲気とすることで、NOx吸蔵材から放出されたNOx を雰囲気中に豊富に存在する還元成分によって還元浄化する。
またNH3 脱硝触媒は、例えば特開平10-146528号公報に記載されているように、排ガス中に尿素水などを添加し、生成するNH3によってNOx を還元する。
ところがリーンNOx 触媒及びNOx 吸蔵還元触媒においては、担持されているPtなどの貴金属が活性化する約250℃付近より低温域ではNOx の還元が困難であり、NOx がそのまま排出されるという問題がある。またNH3脱硝触媒においても、NH3 とNOx とが反応する温度が元々高いため、Pdなどの貴金属を併用して活性温度を下げることが行われている。しかしこの場合でも、リーンNOx触媒あるいはNOx 吸蔵還元触媒と同様に、貴金属が活性化する活性化温度まではNOx の浄化が困難である。
そこで特開2000-230414号公報には、リーンNOx 触媒あるいはNH3脱硝触媒からなるNOx 還元触媒の排ガス上流側に、NOx 吸着材を配置することが提案されている。このような排ガス浄化装置によれば、低温域ではNOx吸着材にNOx が吸着され、高温域ではNOx 吸着材から放出されたNOx が下流側のNOx 還元触媒で還元浄化される。したがって低温域から高温域まで、NOxの排出を抑制することができる。
このようなNOx 吸着材として、特開2000-230414号公報には、アルミナにPtを担持したものが例示され、約230℃までの温度でNOx を吸収することが記載されている。また特開2007-160168号公報には、Fe、Cu及びCoから選ばれる少なくとも一種をイオン交換担持したゼオライトよりなるNOx吸着材が記載されている。さらに特開2001-198455号公報には、Co、Fe及びNiから選ばれる少なくとも一種の酸化物からなるNOx 吸着材が記載され、40℃以下の低温域でNOxを吸着することが記載されている。
さらに特開2007-160168号公報には、Fe、Cu及びCoから選ばれる少なくとも一種をイオン交換担持したゼオライトが、室温程度の常温から高いNOx吸着能を発現することが記載されている。
ところで、自動車の排ガス流路にNOx 吸着材とNOx還元触媒を配置する場合、NOx 吸着材及びNOx 還元触媒は筒状のコンバータ内に収納される。しかし筒状のコンバータ内では、軸中心部が高温となり外周部が低温となる温度分布が生じる。また一般に、上流側ほど高温であり、下流側ほど低温となる。
そのためNOx を脱離する温度が比較的低温のNOx吸着材を用いた場合には、下流側のNOx 還元触媒が活性化温度まで到達していない時に、NOx 吸着材から放出されたNOxはそのまま排出されてしまう。またNOx を脱離する温度が比較的高温のNOx 吸着材を用いた場合には、NOx吸着材のNOx 吸着量が飽和した以後はNOx を吸着することができないため、NOx 還元触媒に流入するNOx量がNOx 還元触媒の能力を超える過剰量となる場合があり、その場合にはNOx 還元触媒で還元されずに排出されるすり抜けNOx量が多くなってしまう。

本発明はこのような事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、低温域から高温域まで効率よくNOxを吸着するとともに、その排ガス下流側に配置されるNOx 還元触媒からのNOx 排出量を低減することを解決すべき課題とする。
上記課題を解決する本発明のNOx 吸着装置の特徴は、吸着したNOxの脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200℃以下の第1NOx 吸着材と、吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が200℃を超える第2NOx 吸着材とを含み、第1NOx 吸着材を排ガス上流側に配置し、第1NOx吸着材の排ガス下流側に第2NOx 吸着材を配置したことにある。
また本発明の排ガス浄化装置の特徴は、本発明のNOx 吸着装置の排ガス下流側に、NOxを還元浄化するNOx 還元触媒を配置してなることにある。
本発明のNOx 吸着装置によれば、排ガス温度が 200℃以下の低温域では第1NOx吸着材がNOx を吸着する。したがって本発明の排ガス浄化装置によれば、NOx 吸着装置の下流側に配置されたNOx還元触媒へNOx が流入するのが抑制される。これによりNOx 還元触媒が活性化温度に到達していなくとも、排出されるNOx量を低減することができる。
そして排ガス温度が 200℃を超えると、第1NOx 吸着材からNOxが脱離するが、下流側の第2NOx 吸着材がNOx を再び吸着する。したがってNOx 吸着装置の下流側に配置されたNOx還元触媒へ流入するNOx 量を低減することができる。これにより、本発明の排ガス浄化装置によれば、NOx 還元触媒に流入するNOx量がNOx 還元触媒の能力を超える過剰量となるのが抑制され、すり抜けNOx 量を低減することができる。

本発明のNOx 吸着装置は、排ガス上流側に第1NOx吸着材が配置され、その排ガス下流側に第2NOx 吸着材が配置されている。
第1NOx 吸着材は、吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が200℃以下のものである。本発明のNOx 吸着装置の排ガス下流側に配置されるNOx 還元触媒は、約 250℃付近から活性領域となる。したがって第1NOx吸着材は、吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200℃以下のものとした。
第1NOx 吸着材は、50℃におけるNOx吸着量が第1NOx 吸着材の 100質量部に対して 0.1質量部以上であることが望ましい。このように低温におけるNOx吸着量が多い第1NOx 吸着材とすることで、下流側に配置されたNOx 還元触媒へNOx が流入するのをさらに抑制することができ、排出されるNOx量をさらに低減することができる。
この第1NOx 吸着材としては、例えばフェリエライト、ZSM-5、モルデナイト、Y型ゼオライト、β型ゼオライト、X型ゼオライト、L型ゼオライト、シリカライト、シリカゾルにテンプレート材を加えてゲルを形成し水熱合成した後焼成することで製造された合成ゼオライトなどの、ゼオライトを用いることができる。中でも、NOxの脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が低いZSM-5、β型ゼオライトが好ましい。またこれらのゼオライトを脱Al処理した改質ゼオライトを用いることもできる。脱Al処理としては、酸処理、沸騰水処理、スチーム処理などが知られている。
また、Fe、Ag、Cu、Mnなどをイオン交換担持したゼオライトを用いることも好ましい。このようなイオン交換ゼオライトによれば、理由は不明であるが、室温程度の常温でも高いNOx吸着能が発現される。
なお第1NOx 吸着材には、ゼオライトに加えて Al2O3、ZrO2、TiO2など他の多孔質酸化物を含んでもよい。但し他の多孔質酸化物の含有量が多くなると低温域におけるNOx吸着量がその分低下するため、他の多孔質酸化物の含有量は50質量%以下とするのが望ましい。
第2NOx 吸着材は、吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が200℃を超えるものである。本発明のNOx 吸着装置の排ガス下流側に配置されるNOx 還元触媒は、約 250℃付近から活性領域となる。したがって吸着したNOxの脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200℃を超える第2NOx 吸着材を下流側に配置することで、第1NOx 吸着材から脱離したNOxを再び第2NOx 吸着材に吸着させることができ、そのピーク温度までNOx を吸着することができる。このため、NOx還元触媒へ流入するNOx 量を低減することができる。またピーク温度を超える温度となった場合には、NOx 還元触媒が活性領域となるので、NOx元触媒によってNOx が還元浄化される。したがってNOx 還元触媒流入するNOx 量がNOx還元触媒の能力を超える過剰量となるのが抑制され、すり抜けNOx 量を低減することができる。
この第2NOx 吸着材としては、塩基性度が高いセリア、比表面積が大きいアルミナなどを用いることができる。中でもセリアを少なくとも含むことが望ましい。セリア-ジルコニア複合酸化物などを用いてもよい。またセリアに対し、La、Pr、Zr及びNdなどから選ばれる他の元素の酸化物あるいはAl2O3、ZrO2、TiO2など他の多孔質酸化物を含んでもよい。なおセリア以外の他の元素の酸化物は、セリアに対して80質量%以下とすることが望ましい。この範囲を超えて他の元素の酸化物が含まれると、セリアの含有量が相対的に減少しNOxの吸着量が減少する。
第2NOx 吸着材は、 200℃におけるNOx吸着量が第2NOx 吸着材の 100質量部に対して 0.1質量部以上であることが望ましい。このようにすることで、第1NOx吸着材からNOx が脱離し始めてから下流側に配置されたNOx 還元触媒が活性化温度に到達するまでの間に、第1NOx吸着材から脱離したNOx がNOx 還元触媒へ流入するのを十分に抑制することができ、排出されるNOx量をさらに低減することができる。
本発明のNOx 吸着装置は、貴金属などを担持しなくとも効果を発揮するが、場合によってはPt、Pd、Rhなどの貴金属を担持することもできる。例えば第2NOx吸着材に少量の貴金属を担持すると、 200℃以上で排ガス中のNOを酸化してNO2 とすることが可能となる。そのため第2NOx吸着材へのNOx の吸着が促進され、NOx 吸着能が向上する。この場合における貴金属の担持量は、第2NOx吸着材に対して0.01~2質量%とすることができる。
本発明のNOx 吸着装置は、第1NOx 吸着材粉末を成形した第1ペレットと、第2NOx吸着材粉末を成形した第2ペレットとから構成することができる。あるいはモノリスハニカム基材あるいはフォーム基材などの担体基材に第1NOx 吸着材からなるコート層を形成したものを排ガス上流側に配置し、同様の担体基材に第2NOx吸着材からなるコート層を形成したものをその下流側に配置してもよい。さらには、一つの担体基材を用い、その上流側に第1NOx 吸着材からなるコート層を形成し、その下流側に第2NOx吸着材からなるコート層を形成してもよい。
担体基材としては、コージェライト、SiC などの耐熱性セラミックスから形成されたモノリス基材、あるいは金属箔から形成されたメタル基材などを用いることができる。
一つの担体基材の排ガス上流側と排ガス下流側とに二種類のコート層を形成する場合には、第1NOx 吸着材からなるコート層を担体基材の排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/10~1/2の範囲に形成し、その下流側全部に第2NOx吸着材からなるコート層を形成することが望ましい。第1NOx 吸着材と第2NOx 吸着材をこの範囲に形成することで、実際の使用時の昇温雰囲気におけるNOx吸着装置全体のNOx 吸着量を多くすることができる。
第1NOx 吸着材及び第2NOx 吸着材のコート量は、担体基材の1リットルあたり少なくとも50g以上形成することが好ましく、担体基材の1リットルあたり100g以上形成することが望ましい。コート量が多いほどNOx 吸着量が多くなるからである。なお上限は特に規定されないが、圧損の上昇が許容される範囲とすべきである。
本発明のNOx 吸着装置は、単独で用いることも可能であるが、NOxを還元浄化するNOx 還元触媒の排ガス上流側に配置して用いることが望ましい。すなわち本発明の排ガス浄化装置は、本発明のNOx吸着装置の排ガス下流側に、NOx を還元浄化するNOx 還元触媒を配置してなる。この排ガス浄化装置によれば、排ガス温度が200℃以下の低温域では、第1NOx 吸着材がNOx を吸着するため、NOx 還元触媒へNOxが流入するのが抑制される。これによりNOx 還元触媒が活性化温度に到達していなくとも、排出されるNOx 量を低減することができる。
そして排ガス温度が 200℃を超えると、第1NOx 吸着材からNOxが脱離するが、下流側の第2NOx 吸着材がNOx を再び吸着する。したがってNOx 還元触媒へ流入するNOx量を低減することができる。これにより、NOx 還元触媒に流入するNOx 量がNOx 還元触媒の能力を超える過剰量となるのが抑制され、すり抜けNOx量を低減することができる。
NOx 還元触媒としては、リーンNOx 触媒、NOx吸蔵還元触媒、NH3 脱硝触媒などが例示される。
以下、実施例と比較例及び試験例により本発明を具体的に説明する。
(実施例1)
図1に本実施例に係るNOx 吸着装置を示す。このNOx吸着装置は、コージェライト製のハニカム基材1と、ハニカム基材1のセル隔壁10の表面にコートされたNOx 吸着材2と、からなる。NOx吸着材2は、排ガス上流側で全長の1/3の範囲に第1NOx 吸着材層20が形成され、第1NOx 吸着材層20の排ガス下流側に第2NOx吸着材層21が形成されている。以下、NOx 吸着材2の製造方法を説明し、構成の詳細な説明に代える。
先ずZSM-5にFeがイオン交換担持されたFe/ZSM-5粉末を用意した。このFe/ZSM-5粉末100質量部と、バインダとしてのアルミナゾル( Al2O3:10質量%)15質量部と、イオン交換水とを混合してスラリー(A)を調製した。
次にコージェライト製のハニカム基材1(ストレートフロー、直径30mm、体積50L)を用意し、排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/3の範囲に上記スラリー(A)をウォッシュコートし、乾燥、焼成して第1NOx吸着材層20を形成した。第1NOx 吸着材層20は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり 150g形成された。
次に、CeO2粉末 150質量部と、バインダとしてのセリアゾル(CeO2:10質量%)15質量部と、イオン交換水とを混合してスラリー(B)を調製した。そして第1NOx吸着材層20が形成されたハニカム基材1の排ガス流出側端面から全長の2/3の範囲にスラリー(B)をウォッシュコートし、乾燥、焼成して第2NOx吸着材層21を形成した。第2NOx 吸着材層21は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり 150g形成された。
(比較例1)
実施例1と同様のハニカム基材1を用意し、上記スラリー(A)を全長にウォッシュコートし、乾燥、焼成して、全長にFe/ZSM-5からなる第1NOx 吸着材層20を形成した。第1NOx 吸着材層20は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり150g形成された。
(比較例2)
実施例1と同様のハニカム基材1を用意し、上記スラリー(B)を全長にウォッシュコートし、乾燥、焼成して、全長にCeO2からなる第2NOx 吸着材層21を形成した。第2NOx 吸着材層21は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり150g形成された。
(比較例3)
実施例1と同様のハニカム基材1を用意し、排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/3の範囲に上記スラリー(B)をウォッシュコートして第2NOx 吸着材層21を形成し、排ガス流出側端面から全長の2/3の範囲にスラリー(A)をウォッシュコートして第1NOx吸着材層20を形成した。上流側の第2NOx 吸着材層21及び下流側の第1NOx 吸着材層20は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたりそれぞれ150g形成された。
<試験例1>
比較例1及び比較例2の各NOx 吸着装置を評価装置にそれぞれ配置し、表1に示すリーンガスを用いて所定温度にてNOx を飽和するまで吸着させた。NOx吸着後の各NOx 吸着装置を評価装置にそれぞれ配置し、10℃/分の速度で室温から 550℃まで昇温したときに脱離するNOx量をそれぞれ測定した。結果を図2に示す。
<試験例2>
実施例1及び比較例1~3の各NOx 吸着装置を評価装置にそれぞれ配置し、表1に示したリーンガスを10L/分の流量で流しながら、15℃/分の速度で室温から300℃まで昇温した。その時にNOx 吸着装置から排出されたガス中のNOx 濃度を連続的に測定し、結果を図3に示す。
なお図3において、各NOx 吸着装置に吸着したNOx量は、例えば実施例1の場合には図3の斜線の範囲として表される。したがって比較例のNOx 吸着装置に吸着したNOx 量を示す範囲との面積比を算出すれば、NOx吸着量比を算出することができる。このようにして比較例1及び比較例2のNOx 吸着装置に吸着したNOx 量に対する実施例1のNOx吸着装置に吸着したNOx 量の比を算出し、結果を図4に示す。
図3より、比較例1、3に係るNOx 吸着装置は、低温側でのNOx吸着能は高いものの、高温側でのNOx の脱離が多い。これは、下流側に形成された第1NOx 吸着材層20からNOxが脱離したことによるものである。また比較例2に係るNOx 吸着装置は、高温側ではNOx の脱離が生じにくいものの、低温側でNOx吸着能が低い。これは、低温域でよくNOx を吸着する第1NOx 吸着材層20が下流側に形成されているためである。
一方、実施例1に係るNOx 吸着装置は、比較例1~3に係るNOx吸着装置に比べて、低温域から高温域までの全域に亘ってNOx 排出量が少なく、NOx 吸着量も比較例1に比べて約 1.4倍、比較例2に比べて約2倍と多いことがわかり、これは第1NOx吸着材層20を上流側に形成し、その下流側に第2NOx 吸着材層21を形成したことによる効果であることが明らかである。
<試験例3>
実施例1と同様のスラリー(A)とスラリー(B)を用い、第1NOx 吸着材層20の形成範囲を、ハニカム基材1の排ガス流入側端面から全長の0、1/30、1/15、1/10、1/5、1/3、2/5、1/2、3/5、1/1の10水準の範囲とし、残りの範囲に第2NOx吸着材層21を形成した。第1NOx 吸着材層20が0(ゼロ)のものは比較例2のNOx 吸着装置に相当し、1/3のものは実施例1のNOx吸着装置に相当し、1/1のものは比較例1に相当する。第1NOx 吸着材層20及び第2NOx 吸着材層21は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたりそれぞれ150g形成された。
それぞれのNOx 吸着装置を評価装置にそれぞれ配置し、試験例2と同様にして室温から300℃まで昇温した時に排出されたガス中のNOx 濃度を連続的に測定した。そして試験例2と同様にして、第1NOx 吸着材層20が0(ゼロ)のもの(比較例2)に吸着したNOx量に対するNOx 吸着量の比をそれぞれ算出し、結果を図5に示す。
図5から、第1NOx 吸着材層20の形成範囲は、排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/10~1/2の範囲が望ましいことが明らかである。
<試験例4>
実施例1と同様に、排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/3の範囲に第1NOx 吸着材層20を形成し、排ガス流出側端面から全長の2/3の範囲に第2NOx 吸着材層21を形成したNOx吸着装置において、第1NOx 吸着材層20はハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり 150g固定で形成し、第2NOx 吸着材層21をハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり0g、15g、30g、50g、100g、 150g、 200g、 250gの8水準でそれぞれ形成した。0gのものについては、第1NOx 吸着材層20を全長に形成し、これは比較例1と同一のものである。
それぞれのNOx 吸着装置を評価装置にそれぞれ配置し、試験例2と同様にして室温から300℃まで昇温した時に排出されたガス中のNOx 濃度を連続的に測定した。そして試験例2と同様にして、第2NOx 吸着材層21が0(ゼロ)のもの(比較例1)に吸着したNOx量に対するNOx 吸着量の比をそれぞれ算出し、結果を図6に示す。
また実施例1と同様に、排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/3の範囲に第1NOx吸着材層20を形成し、排ガス流出側端面から全長の2/3の範囲に第2NOx 吸着材層21を形成したNOx 吸着装置において、第2NOx吸着材層21はハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり 150g固定で形成し、第1NOx 吸着材層20をハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり0g、15g、30g、50g、100g、 150g、 200g、 250gの8水準でそれぞれ形成した。0gのものについては、第2NOx 吸着材層21を全長に形成し、これは比較例2と同一のものである。
それぞれのNOx 吸着装置を評価装置にそれぞれ配置し、試験例2と同様にして室温から300℃まで昇温した時に排出されたガス中のNOx 濃度を連続的に測定した。そして試験例2と同様にして、第1NOx 吸着材層20が0(ゼロ)のもの(比較例2)に吸着したNOx量に対するNOx 吸着量の比をそれぞれ算出し、結果を図7に示す。
図6から、下流側の第2NOx 吸着材層21の形成量は、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり50g以上であることが好ましく、100g以上であることがさらに望ましいことがわかる。また図7から、上流側の第1NOx 吸着材層20の形成量も、ハニカム基材1の1リットルあたり50g以上であることが好ましく、100g以上であることがさらに望ましいことがわかる。
(実施例2)
図8に本発明の一実施例に係る排ガス浄化装置を示す。この排ガス浄化装置は、リーンバーンエンジン3の排気系に配置されたNOx 吸着装置4と、NOx 吸着装置4の排ガス下流側に配置されたNOx吸蔵還元触媒5と、から構成されている。NOx 吸着装置4は、実施例1に係るNOx 吸着装置と同様のものである。NOx吸着装置4及びNOx 吸蔵還元触媒5は、触媒コンバータ6内に直列に収納されている。
NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5は、ハニカム基材50と、そのセル隔壁の表面に形成された触媒層51とからなり、触媒層51はAl2O3、TiO2及びZrO2からなる担体と、その担体に担持された貴金属としてのPt及びNOx吸蔵材としてのK、Ba及びLiとから構成されている。
リーンバーンエンジン3は、常時はリーンで燃焼され、間欠的にリッチで燃焼されるように制御されている。始動時など 200℃以下の低温域のリーン排ガスが本実施例の排ガス浄化装置に流入すると、排ガス中のNOx はNOx吸着装置4の上流側に形成された第1NOx 吸着材層20に吸着され、NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5にはほとんど流入しない。したがってNOx吸蔵還元触媒5が活性化領域でなくても、NOx の排出を未然に防止することができる。
NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5は、約 250℃以上にならないと活性化しない。一方、排ガス温度が200℃を超えると、第1NOx 吸着材層20に吸着されていたNOx が脱離する。しかし脱離したNOxは、下流側の第2NOx 吸着材層21に再び吸着するため、NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5にはほとんど流入しない。したがってNOx吸蔵還元触媒5が活性化温度に到達する前であっても、NOx の排出を未然に防止することができる。
排ガス温度が約 250℃以上になると、NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5が活性化領域となるため、排ガス中に元々含まれているNOxと、第1NOx 吸着材層20及び第2NOx 吸着材層21から脱離したNOx は、NOx吸蔵還元触媒5に吸蔵され、排出が抑制される。
そして間欠的にリッチ雰囲気の排ガスが流入すると、NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5に吸蔵されていたNOxが放出されるとともに、NOx 吸蔵還元触媒5上において、雰囲気中に豊富に存在するHCなどの還元剤によってNOx が還元浄化される。
したがって本実施例の排ガス浄化装置によれば、低温域から高温域までNOxの排出を抑制することができる。
Claims (7)
- 吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200℃以下の第1NOx吸着材と、吸着したNOx の脱離量が最大となるピーク温度が 200℃を超える第2NOx 吸着材とを含み、該第1NOx吸着材を排ガス上流側に配置し、該第1NOx 吸着材の排ガス下流側に該第2NOx 吸着材を配置したことを特徴とするNOx吸着装置。
- 前記第1NOx 吸着材はゼオライトである請求項1に記載のNOx吸着装置。
- 前記第2NOx 吸着材はセリアを含む請求項1又は請求項2に記載のNOx吸着装置。
- 前記第1NOx 吸着材は、50℃におけるNOx吸着量が前記第1NOx 吸着材の 100質量部に対して 0.1質量部以上である請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のNOx吸着装置。
- 前記第2NOx 吸着材は、 200℃におけるNOx吸着量が前記第2NOx 吸着材の 100質量部に対して 0.1質量部以上である請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のNOx吸着装置。
- 前記第1NOx 吸着材及び前記第2NOx吸着材は、一つの担体基材の排ガス上流側と排ガス下流側とに形成され、前記第1NOx 吸着材は該担体基材の排ガス流入側端面から全長の1/10~1/2の範囲に形成されている請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のNOx吸着装置。
- 請求項1~6に記載のいずれかのNOx 吸着装置の排ガス下流側に、NOxを還元浄化するNOx 還元触媒を配置してなることを特徴とする排ガス浄化装置。
