Abstract

Lorsqu'un paquet tel qu'une instruction de commande nécessitant une exécution en temps réel est reçu dans un ordinateur dans lequel un système d'exploitation universel fonctionne, il est impossible de garantir la réduction temporelle du traitement en temps réel. Comme le montre la figure 1, un composant d'ordinateur (104) qui a reçu un paquet provenant d'un réseau (101) détermine si le paquet doit être transféré ou non en temps réel à l'aide d'un CI logique d'utilisateur (114). Si le paquet doit être transféré en temps réel, une file d'attente prioritaire d'un tampon de communication (116) est sélectionnée et le paquet est immédiatement transféré à un autre composant d'ordinateur (104) qui peut effectuer un procédé en temps réel. Simultanément avec cela, des lignes de signal d'interruption (126, 118) sont excitées de façon à rapporter un signal d'interruption indiquant un transfert en temps réel.
