Abstract

 本発明は、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっきに高耐食性の、垂れ染み・溜まり染みのない均一外観で、厚みの不均一不良を生じない、密着性の良好な皮膜を付与するためのクロムフリーの処理液及び処理方法を提供することを目的とする。本発明は、(a)アルカリ金属シリケート(M2O・nSiO2(式中、Mはアルカリ金属を示し、nはSiO2/M2Oモル比を示す))、(b)水溶性又は水分散性シランカップリング剤及び(c)水溶性又は水分散性グリシジルエーテル化合物を含有することを特徴とする亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき上に耐食性皮膜を形成させるための表面処理水溶液を提供する。また、本発明は、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき表面を、前記表面処理水溶液に接触させることを含む、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき上に高耐食性皮膜を形成させる表面処理方法を提供する。さらに、本発明の前記表面処理水溶液は、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき上に形成された6価クロムフリー又は完全クロムフリーの化成処理皮膜表面に対しても施すことができる。すなわち、本発明は、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき上に形成された化成処理皮膜表面を、前記表面処理水溶液に接触させることを含む、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき上に高耐食性皮膜を形成させる表面処理方法をも提供する。また、本発明は、亜鉛又は亜鉛合金めっき表面、又は亜鉛または亜鉛合金めっき上に形成された化成処理皮膜表面に前記を接触させることにより形成された高耐食性皮膜を提供する。
