Abstract

 高い光学純度、乳酸収率ならびに乳酸生産速度を同時に達成することが可能となる、乳酸生産能力を有する酵母を分離膜で濾過しながら行う連続培養において、乳酸収率ならびに乳酸生産速度の低下を防ぐために必要となる乳酸脱水素酵素をコードする遺伝子発現カセット、該カセットを有する酵母ならびに該酵母を培養することによる乳酸の製造方法を提供する。  本発明の乳酸脱水素酵素発現カセットは、プロモーターの下流に乳酸脱水素酵素をコードする遺伝子が連結された乳酸脱水素酵素発現カセットであって、乳酸生産能力を有する酵母を分離膜で濾過しながら行う連続培養において、前記プロモーターは、培養開始後50時間以降における遺伝子発現量が全遺伝子の平均相対発現量の5倍以上である遺伝子のプロモーターである、乳酸脱水素酵素発現カセットである。
