Abstract

 高演色で色ムラがなく、かつ従来得られなかった均一な発光を示すLED発光装置を提供する。組成が(Sr2-X-Y-Z-ωBaXMgYMnZEuω)SiO4(但し、x、y、zおよびωは、0.1<x<1、0<y<0.5、0<z<0.1、y > z、0.01<ω<0.2の条件を満たす係数である。) で表される蛍光体とする。この蛍光体と、発光ピーク波長が360~470nmである紫外および青色発光ダイオードとを組合せてLED発光装置が形成される。
