Abstract

　高演色で色ムラがなく、かつ従来得られなかった均一な発光を示すＬＥＤ発光装置を提供する。組成が（Ｓｒ２－Ｘ－Ｙ－Ｚ－ωＢａＸＭｇＹＭｎＺＥｕω)ＳｉＯ４（但し、ｘ、ｙ、ｚおよびωは、０．１＜ｘ＜１、０＜ｙ＜０．５、０＜ｚ＜０．１、y ＞ z、０．０１＜ω＜０．２の条件を満たす係数である。)　で表される蛍光体とする。この蛍光体と、発光ピーク波長が３６０～４７０ｎｍである紫外および青色発光ダイオードとを組合せてＬＥＤ発光装置が形成される。
