Abstract

 本発明の目的は、優れた撥水性、滑落性(水滴転落性)を備えるとともに、これらの特性が長期に亘り持続する耐久性、耐摩耗性、耐傷性を有する撥水または防汚性物品を提供すること、更には該撥水または防汚性物品を用いて構成された建築用窓ガラス、車両用窓ガラス、ディスプレイ部材、光学部品を提供することであり、該撥水または防汚性物品は、基材表面に粒子または粒塊状の無機材料を含む下地層が大気圧プラズマ法を用いて形成され、該下地層が撥水または防汚性材料で被覆あるいは含浸されていることを特徴とする。
