Abstract

　本発明は多官能芳香族化合物フリーで大粒径のオレフィン重合用触媒およびそれを形成する固体状チタン触媒成分（Ｉ）を提供することを目的としており、本発明のオレフィン重合用触媒は、液状状態の還元能を有しないマグネシウム化合物（Ａ）を、下記式（１）で特定されるエステル化合物（Ｂ）と、液状チタン化合物（Ｃ）とに特定の順序で接触させて得られるチタン、マグネシウム、ハロゲンとを含む固体状チタン触媒成分（Ｉ）と、有機金属化合物（ＩＩ）と、必要に応じて電子供与体（ＩＩＩ）とを含む。 （式（１）中、Ｒ2およびＲ3は、ＣＯＯＲ1またはＲであり、Ｒ2およびＲ3のうち少なくとも１つはＣＯＯＲ1であり、Ｒ1は、炭素原子数１～２０の１価の炭化水素基であり、Ｒは、水素原子、炭素原子数１～２０の炭化水素基等であり、少なくとも２個が互いに結合して環を形成していてもよく、環の骨格中には二重結合やヘテロ原子が含まれていてもよい。）
