Abstract

 各行に順次割り当てられた水平走査期間に当該行のスイッチング素子をオンするためのゲート信号(G1、G2、G3、…)を出力するゲートライン駆動回路と、各行の水平走査期間に同期して極性が反転しつつ、同一行の隣接する水平走査期間では極性が逆転するようなソース信号(S)を出力するソースバスライン駆動回路と、各行の水平走査期間以降に、この水平走査期間におけるソース信号(S)の極性に応じて定められた方向(ロー→ハイ又はハイ→ロー)へ電位が切り替わるCS信号(CS1、CS2、CS3、…)を出力するCSバスライン駆動回路とを備え、CSバスライン駆動回路は、第1フレームにおいて、当該行のスイッチング素子がオンからオフに切り替えられた時点のCS信号の電位が、隣接する行では互いに異なるように、該CS信号を出力する。これにより、ライン反転駆動を前提としたCC駆動において、映像信号の表示を開始する第1フレームにおける横筋の発生を解消する。
