Abstract

 ゲートドライバが、データ信号の極性反転時点の直後に、ゲートオンパルスを走査信号線に対して印加しない期間であるダミー挿入期間を設ける。また、CSコントロール回路が、互いに隣接する2つの走査信号線に関し、先にゲートオンパルスが印加される奇数行目または偶数行目の走査信号線に対するゲートオンパルス印加時点から、後にゲートオンパルスが印加される偶数行目または奇数行目の走査信号線に対するゲートオンパルス印加時点までの期間を隣接行書込時間差期間とすると、少なくとも上記隣接行書込時間差期間において、全てのCS信号の極性反転周期を揃える。これにより、極性反転時にデータ信号の波形に鈍り、および、保持容量信号の波形の鈍りの影響を受けずに、表示ムラなどを抑制した表示品位の高い表示を行うことが可能な液晶表示装置を提供する。
