Abstract

 本発明は、表示装置に関し、特に、駆動方式にライン反転駆動方式を採用するアクティブマトリクス型の表示装置に関する。  駆動方式にライン反転駆動方式を採用する液晶表示装置において、垂直帰線期間開始後の所定期間に所定の映像信号が映像信号線に印加される構成とする。偶数フレームにおいて垂直走査期間が開始すると、ソース電位(VS)については、有効映像期間における振幅の2分の1だけ電位が低下する。その低下後のソース電位(VS)が1水平走査期間だけ維持された後、ソースバスラインはハイインピーダンスの状態とされる。奇数フレームにおいて垂直走査期間が開始すると、ソース電位(VS)については、有効映像期間における振幅の2分の1だけ電位が上昇する。その上昇後のソース電位VSが1水平走査期間だけ維持された後、ソースバスラインはハイインピーダンスの状態とされる。
