Abstract

　調光時の発光効率を向上させることが可能な調光装置及びそれを用いた照明装置を提供する。照影装置は光源１と調光装置２を備える。調光装置２は、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子で構成された光源１に点灯用の定電流を出力する電流出力回路５と、電流出力回路５から出力される駆動電流の大きさを制御する電流制御回路６を備え、電流制御回路６は、光源１の調光時において、駆動電流が所定の最大値と最小値の間で周期的に変化しつつ、常に同方向に流れるように、直流成分をバイアスさせる。
