Abstract

複数の単電池を配列し接続して一体化した組電池において、長期間使用しても健全性を保つ。組電池は、直方体の密閉型金属製単電池ケース(2)および単電池ケース(2)の端子面から突出している二つの電圧端子を備えた複数個の単電池(1)と、互いに隣接する単電池(1)の互いに対向する二つの主面(3)同士の間に配置されてそれらの主面(3同士の間隔を保持するスペーサ(6)と、互いに異なる単電池(1)の電圧端子同士を電気的に接続する接続部と、を有する。スペーサ(6)は、単電池ケース(2)の角部を支持する複数の突起(7)を有し、主面3に対向する位置に、その単電池ケース(2)の主面(3)が単電池ケース(2)の内圧によって膨れたときにその膨れた部分を避ける貫通穴が形成されている。
