Abstract

 本発明は、精密ろ過膜、限外ろ過膜、ナノろ過膜および逆浸透膜等の分離膜を支持する際に、優れた製膜性と機械的強度を有する分離膜支持体並びにそれを用いた分離膜および流体分離素子を提供するものである。  本発明の分離膜支持体は、熱可塑性連続フィラメントより構成された長繊維不織布からなり、前記の熱可塑性連続フィラメントには、高融点重合体の周りに、該高融点重合体の融点よりも10~140°C低い融点を有する低融点重合体を配した複合型フィラメントが好ましく用いられる。
