Abstract
シース20の中空内に空隙20aを有するように挿着された光ファイバー30と、光ファイバーの一部をシース内面に固定する充填部材40とで構成する。光ファイバーの他部は開放する。シース側に曲げ、伸縮などのストレスが加わっても、内部の光ファイバーまでにはそのストレスが伝わることがない。仮に、シースが伸縮して僅かに伸びたとしても光ファイバーの一端は解放されているので、シースの伸縮に伴って光ファイバーも伸縮することはない。したがって印加ストレスによる影響が光ファイバーに伝わることを回避できるので、光ファイバーの長さを常に一定に保持できる。
