Abstract

 本発明による液晶表示装置では、ソース信号電圧の極性が複数の水平走査期間にわたって変化しない場合、ソース信号電圧が第j行の画素に対応する値に変化する前に、第j行の画素に対応するゲートバスラインに供給されるゲート信号の画像書き込みパルスが立ち上がる。次に、第j行の画素に対応するゲートバスラインに供給されるゲート信号の画像書き込みパルスが立ち下がり、その後、第k行(j≠k)の画素に対応するゲートバスラインに供給するゲート信号の画像書き込みパルスが立ち上がる。第k行の画素に対応するゲートバスラインに供給されるゲート信号の画像書き込みパルスの立ち上がり後に、第j行の画素のそれぞれの副画素に対応する補助容量バスラインに印加される補助容量信号電圧の極性が反転する。
