Abstract

 高出力化と共に耐久性が高い二次電池が実現できる二次電池用電極の提供。  活物質粉末11と炭素材料から形成され前記活物質粉末11の表面に付着する導電材料12と前記導電材料12に結合した繊維状導電材料13とをもつ電極材料を有することを特徴とする。まず、活物質粉末の表面に導電材料を付着させることで、活物質粉末と導電材料との間の電気的接続を安定的に維持することが可能になる。更に、活物質粉末の表面に付着した導電材料に繊維状導電材料を結合させている。繊維状導電材料は互いに絡み合うことで電気的な接続を維持することが可能である。つまり、電極材料に歪みが発生しても繊維状導電材料が歪みを吸収して互いの接触を保ち電気的な接続を保つことが可能であり大きな歪みが発生しても従来の導電材と比べて電気的接続が切断されずに維持できる。
