Abstract

　回転軸周りに回転可能なロータと、前記ロータに対して前記回転軸方向の少なくとも一方側に配置されるステータとを備えるアキシャルギャップ型モータであって：前記ロータは、このロータの周方向に沿って並んで配置され、その磁化方向が前記回転軸方向である複数の主永久磁石と、前記主永久磁石の端部近傍に配置され、その磁化方向が前記回転軸方向に直交する方向である複数の副永久磁石とを有し；前記ステータは、前記周方向に沿って並んで配置され、前記回転軸方向に沿って前記ロータに向かって突出する複数のティースを有し；前記各副永久磁石の前記ステータに対向する各対向面の、前記周方向の一方の端部と他方の端部との間の前記周方向の間隔は、前記周方向で隣り合う前記ステータのティース同士間のスロット幅よりも大きい；ことを特徴とするアキシャルギャップ型モータ。
