Abstract

 多気筒内燃機関の吸気マニホルドMは、吸気集合室11を形成する集合部10と、複数の吸気分岐路22を形成する分岐部20とを備える。集合部10は、吸気集合室11を構成する第1,第2空間11a,11bをそれぞれ形成する第1,第2ケースA,Bが結合されて構成される。第1,第2ケースA,Bには隅部31a,31bが一体成形される。第2ケースBには、第1,第2ケースA,B内に渡って延びて隅部31a,31bの内面31a1,31b1を覆って配置される整流部40が設けられる。整流部40は、内面31a1,31b1に比べて吸気を円滑に案内する案内面44を有する。このように吸気マニホルドの集合部を分割構造とすることにより、集合部の隅部の形状に無関係に吸気集合室での吸気の流れが円滑になり、体積効率が向上する。
